The desire to possess Nezu's quirk after seeing it in action was so strong that Neito grabbed onto the hair tightly.

But soon his jealousy faltered, He wasn't able to copy it, he couldn't possess this quirk..

Neito spoke politely resisting the urge to sigh, even though it wasn't enough, he was doing a good enough job until now to resist his quirk's after effects.

Not many can even do that, Toga is the most famous and tragic example, but Nezu wasn't the owner of high spec for nothing.

With a twinkle in his eyes he laid out what Neito was feeling, even if Neito didn't show anything at all.

Though Nezu put it like that, Neito was sure there was more to it than that, something Nezu wasn't telling him.

But he didn't have many options on hand, he was against a real genius, this wasn't something he could contend against right now.

This was something even Nezu seems to understand, giving an apologetic look, he told Neito.

Nodding his head, Neito let it go for now, but he was on guard anyway, Nezu might not be bad per say, but be definitely wasn't the best either.

Meanwhile Nezu's testing of the Monoma family was done, Neito was young but he had everything Nezu wanted, he was confident he could work with what he had.

Nezu soon began to divert the conversation, he had enough test data and could sense the mood well enough, the Monoma family needed a break before further interaction.

Whistling with amazement, Shibasaki Monoma complimented Nezu, he knew Nezu was trying to make their relationship not so stiff for a while now, so Shibasaki decided to return the gesture.

Anyway, it seemed they were about to join his thief gang, might as well get a friendship going, while he still didn't like Nezu personally, he was ready to look past that.

Mirroring each other's laughters, in Neito's dad's case literally because of his quirk, the duo began discussing future arrangements.

Neito's mom held her forehead because of her husband's antics, while she understood what this was all about, she wasn't able to let go of her hesitation.

Calling Neito who's eyes were looking around everywhere, she gestured him to come to her.

Looking at his mother, Neito stopped looking and walked to her, she then proceeded to pick him up in her arms.

" What's the matter mom? "

Asked Neito, who didn't understand why his mother decided to do this.

Looking at her baby boy who seemed unaware of the dangers he might face, Hana Monoma's heart trembled.

" Neito, are you sure you want to do this? If you don't want to tell momma, she will get you out of here, nobody can force you! "

Pursing his lips, Neito smiled at his mother, she was a good mother, but he wasn't really unaware of what he might face.

Infact he was more than capable of handling the discussions his dad was doing, it was his age that resticted him so he never bothered to do it.

" Don't worry mom, I realise what's this all about and we actually don't have much of a choice, unless we go to aunt Anna's place. "

Hana Monoma clenched her teeth, she hated the fact that her child was in this situation just because his quirk resembled a villain.

She never hated these stupid prejudices more than she did now, is it really true that someone with a villain quirk has to be a villain.

' Or is it everyone around them that forces these people to take that path.'

Sighing lightly, Hana Monoma patted her son's hair and walked towards UA, she might be outsmarted against Nezu, but no amount of smarts will confuse her on what's good of her baby.

On top of that, Neito might have forgotten but she remembered, it was Neito's birthday today, she and her husband were going to give him a surprise party, but now that plan was a bust, she had to make it up to him somehow after this.
