'This doesn't seem like the best idea.' Standing at the front entrance of his school Izuku began to have second thoughts on being here. He knows that he will be targeted to bullying and there wasn't anything he can do.
'Well, I could try and ask mom to get home schooled. Hopefully, but I don't think that'll ever happen. I did promise her that I will receive straight A's. For someone that's quirkless, especially one that wants to become a hero, I will need to work 10 times harder than those that have quirks and work even harder than people who have powerful quirks. Like Bakugo.'
Saying his name sent shivers down his spine. That was a person that Izuku had no intention on interacting with. He will never understand why deku clung to that bully. But Izuku will definitely not make that same mistake.
Walking into the school and passing by all the social butterflies that are his fellow classmates. He makes his way into his classroom and sits at his desk. Middle of the pack but towards the back. The perfect seat to stay unnoticed, or so he hopes.
The first bell rings and all the students walk to their own classes. Students began filling the classrooms. After everyone is seated in their desks the teacher, walks up to the classroom door to close it. Thinking that all the students are in his glass.
That's when a small explosion stops the door from closing. "Hey teach! Don't you dare close the door on me!"
The teach swiftly apologies to the voice of a student. Totally ignoring the fact that student used his quirk in school, she opens the door for the student.
Katsuki Bakugo enters the room with his nose in the air. Walking in like he owns the place. He goes to his desk and kicks his feet up to get comfortable. His desk is just in front of Izuku's
Izuku is gritting his teeth thinking how the hell can this guy do all of this and not get in trouble. Barely contains his own distain for Bakugo.
Bakugo immediately turns around a locks eyes with Izuku with a smirk. Then proceeds to ask his 'friend' "So I heard you went to the quirk doctor. How did that go?" With a malicious grin. Already knowing the answer but wants to hear it himself. He waits for a response.
Taking calming breathes. 'Here I was thinking I could keep it a secret, but it seems life has other ideas or was it because of a higher being just wanting to mess with me?' Izuku rolls his eyes at Bakugo's grin. "I have a double joint in my pinkie toe. I am deemed quirkless." Coldly responds Izuku.
For Bakugo, the only thing he bothered to hear was the word 'quirkless'. Replying with smug smile. "So, you are just a worthless loser. A Deku!" He barks with laughter. Then the whole class erupts with laughter. All of them laughing at Izuku.
Izuku furrows his brows and gives a deep frown, while closing his eyes. 'Man, this sure is terrible. If deku was here, he would surely become a beta male. Good thing I am here instead.'
After a minute of laughing the teacher finally decides to do his job. "Okay class enough horsing around. We got a lot of work today. So let's get started."
Everyone in class gives a big groan and gets to work.
The lunch bell soon rings, and everyone runs to the lunchroom for a race to get the best food before it runs out. Izuku, luckily has a packed lunch and rushes off to a different direction from everyone else to find the perfect place to eat his lunch. Somewhere hidden and quiet.
Soon he finds a big tree at the edge of the playground. He runs behind it and sits at the truck of the tree. Fishing out a sandwich his mother prepared for him. He begins eating.
*Sigh* 'Kids these days certainly are cruel. They don't know what they are actually saying so they say hurtful things without even realizing it.' Leaning against the trunk of the tree with his hands on his knees. He begins to stare at the clouds in the sky.
'Endless blue as far as the eye can see. The sky is the limit on what I can do. The words of others have no effect on me. I will push through it all and reign supreme.'
Bringing up his hand to eye level. Izuku looks into his palm and clenches his fist. Flipping his fist over and points it straight into the sky. With eyes filled with fire. 'I swear I will rise above all expectations, and I will push beyond the limits of this mortal body. For whomever the higher being was that put my soul into this body. I thank you for this opportunity.'
Getting up from his seat he begins his journey back to the classroom so he can get school over with. As he is walking the lunch bell rings and classes resumes.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With school officially over. Izuku runs back home. Not wanting to tango with Bakugo and any other bully that has learned of his quirklessness. Ever since he announced his status in the class room, the news spread faster than the covid pandemic. All the would-be bullies are just itchin' to get a lick on Izuku's weakness. To reign their superiority on him.
Quickly arriving back to his house he quickly strips off his current clothes and puts on some clothes he wouldn't mind getting dirty. AKA his gym clothes. Walking down the stairs from his room he enters the living room. He can see his lovely mother sitting on the couch, drinking her favorite tea, and watching a show that got Izuku all uncomfortable. The show was THE BACHELORETE and the bachelorette is smooching on some joe.
Izuku ignores this and goes over to his mother and plants a big kiss on her cheek. Inko pauses her show and look at Izuku. Noticing his attire, she raises an eye brow and asks, "Hey there honey, what's with the clothes?"
Izuku smiles and says, "I am going on a run. Don't worry I will stay within the neighborhood."
Inko smiles back towards her some and returns a kiss on his cheek. "Ok Izu. Just make sure to get back before dark."
"Yes Mom!" Izuku runs out the room and out the house and begins his run.
'The most important thing to do before getting straight into gaining strength is to build your cardiovascular system. It is after all the most important system in your body. Need a strong heart and lungs to yank out a mountain out of the ground.' Already shooting extremely high on what he thinks that his level of strength should be. He starts running at a greater speed.
'60 second run then a 90 second rest in a form of a slow jog. That should be a great starting point on my little body.'
Izuku runs like this for the rest of the day. Regularly taking water breaks after he runs what he perceives is 1000 meters every time.
Once it gets dark out, he starts heading into his house. Drenched in sweat and grim he walks up to the front door of his house. Once he enters the house he goes straight to the bathroom. Once he enters the bathroom. Now in a enclosed space, his nose gets assaulted with his own foul scent of his own smell.
*GACK* "What a horrible scent!!" He shouts out. Stripping butt naked and throwing his clothes straight into the hamper he jumps in the shower. Not even waiting the cold water to turn warm. Izuku starts washing himself down then washes his hair. After completely washing himself, he turns off the shower and gets out to dry himself. Once he is sufficiently dried, he takes a look at his naked self into the mirror. Something truly curious happened and he notices.
'It seems that I have lost a freckle. Normally this shouldn't be a problem and I shouldn't even have noticed but I have. I am not normal at all. I lost a one whole freckle. Now I have only seven left. In the anime this never happened to deku, its something that I will keep in mind and continue observing.'
"Izu! Dinner is ready!" Came Inko's voice originating from the kitchen.
Izuku quickly gets dressed and heads towards the kitchen. Taking a seat at the kitchen counter. Inko turns around to face her son from the opposite side of the counter with two plates of food. Setting down Izuku's plate first, then hers. She walks around the counter and sits with her son to eat.
Looking at what is served he couldn't help but drool a little. On his plate was a nice golden brown baked chicken breast with a sweet and spicy aroma to it. Looking next to it you can see a serving of white rice with chicken gravy. A simple meal but one prepared with lots of love from your loving mother. Picking up a fork and knife about to attack the chicken breast but stops when he sees the vegetable next to the rice. A deep frown creeps up to his face noticing it's the worst vegetable possible to be on his plate.
'What the hell are you doing here?! Brussel SPROUT!' Internally screams Izuku, with a intense sense of hostility.
But for Inko, a mischievous smile blooms on her face, "oh, I wonder how put that there?" Putting a finger on her chin, looking up. Exaggerating her own curious expression.
Saying nothing Izuku begins to eat the brussel sprouts first. Why save the worst for last? Is his logic. Quickly wolfing down the sprouts, he proceeds to the same for the rest of the meal. Not knowing it was his instinctual hungry body taking control instead of his logical brain.
Inko immediately lectures Izuku, "Izuku. That's no way to eat. Where are your table manners."
Gulping down whatever food was in his mouth, he looks at his mother. "Sorry mom, I was just so hungry after all that running." Responds Izuku.
"I get that your hungry honey, but that's still no way to eat. Especially in front of a presence of a lady." She wisely instructs her son.
"Why do I care about what some lady will think about me eatin-" Inko immediately bonks her son on his head. With a quick yelp, Izuku ducks his head and begins to caress his head in his hands.
"OW! Mom! That stung!" Yelped Izuku.
"Son, It is for your own good. Its better learn table manners now than embarrass yourself in the future. Get it?" Lecturing her son. Hoping he learns his lesson the first time.
"Okay mom"
Inko leans down and kisses Izuku were she bonked him and then gives him a kiss on the cheek.
"Good boy! Now you wanted seconds?" Smiling to her son.
"Yes!" Shouted Izuku.
Then in a blink of an eye a full week has passed. Izuku has been following the same routine for the past week. Going to school, eating lunch behind the big tree. Then running home to avoid any bullies. Changing into his gym clothes then running off out the house to continue his runs. With his speed increasing everyday he is able to run for longer and longer distances.
After his run and shower. Izuku continues to check up on his freckles with the mirror. Noting another one has disappeared. Leaving only six. Looking down from his face and looking at his core and legs. He is starting to develop some shape in his muscles. Nothing big, but due to his body fat percentage getting lower and lower. It gives the muscles the appearance of being big.
'This progress is not natural. I shouldn't be even getting any visual results so soon. Especially in my little body.' Twisting his body to get a better view of what he is working with. 'The only way I can defend this progress is chalking up to the transmigrating thing. Maybe who or what ever sent me here gave me a little boost or maybe I really am just that awesome.' Striking a heroic pose like the ones he always see in his room. A silly grin forms on his face.
However like all things. It came to an end, from a shout from within the kitchen. "Izu! Dinner!"
Getting dressed faster than you can say 'dinner time' He was dressed and at the kitchen counter.
Laying in his bed for the night, with his arms behind his head and the blanket over him. Izuku mentally begins to form some simple strength and speed work outs in his mind.
'Always start with the basics with pushups. sit ups, and squats with my body weight until I'm used to it. Wanting to make sure that I am careful and build a solid foundation before I reach higher levels of strength and speed. I want to eventually have the perfect balance of two. To be stronger than anyone and be faster than a bolt of lightning. During this quest of obtaining power, one must possess a strong spirit. I refuse to let the power go to my head and disregard those who are weaker than me.
Izuku closes his eyes and then drifts off to dreamland. Not noticing his loss of his third freckle.
