Moving towards the cages, Derek ignored their growling and roars and searched for Daniel. He spotted many cheetahs, but they were all black, and from a glance, Derek could tell they were just beasts.
After a careful search, Derek still couldn't spot any sign of Daniel. Turning around, a red glow suddenly caught his attention. Squinting his eyes further, he could see a cage placed at the far end of the room.
The place was dark, almost pitch black, making him unable to spot what was within the cage.
As he made his way toward the cage, he heard a rattle and an angry roar echo, followed by words that made Derek smile. "I'm going to kill every one of you"
The growls got louder as he got closer until he could finally see those sapphire eyes in the darkness. The glow from his energy-coated fangs shone mildly.
