While Ariana stared out the window of a sleek shuttle, a beep rang, causing her to turn. The bright light illuminated her fair skin as she turned toward the beeping pyramid on the white table in the middle of the room.
Walking toward the table, she clapped lightly, and the lights dimmed. Then, with an affirmative word, a hologram of a black haired woman on one knee appeared.
"Ruby, it's nice to see you. How's your mission?" Ariana said, her delicious lips coated in lip gloss curled into a smile.
"It's nice to see you too, princess. The mission is approaching completion. Stronghold Ten is in chaos as various powers have been vying for the position of mayor since his mysterious disappearance," Ruby said, maintaining her demeanor even when Ariana was her close friend.
