Knights Reunion

In the office, Clyde busily scrutinizing the details of the project their working on, editing some of the content.

'Ring. Ring. Ring.'

Clyde answered the phone. It is her secretary.

"Sir, Liza on the lobby called. She said you have visitors. They said they are the knights.", Melody continually giving information. She is really wondering with the use word 'knights' and who actually are them.

No one visited Clyde since the company was established. No one really knows his family background. They all just knew that he has a girlfriend and nothing more. No information about his own parents. Melody being the one who always talks to him never got the courage to ask that question. Something so personal.

"Okay. Let them in." Clyde was surprised but he did not make it sound like he was. He did not bother to ask the name of his visitor because he is sure who will it be.

Clyde steadily sitting on his chair waiting for his visitor. He looked at the clock. It is already 2:30 pm.

Clyde go outside his office, standing just in front of its door. The main door opens and he sees his friend. He saw both of his friend making a greet to each of her employee. Charlie just giving a simple wave and a smile while Clifford gives a light kiss on every one's hand and making a persuasive smile.

'Same old Clifford.', smirking on his thought.

"Hey! Clyde", Charlie now noticed Clyde, looking in his direction.

Clyde just smile and act to go inside again of his office.

Three of them have entered the Clyde's office. Clyde sitting on the solo sofa while the two are sitting on his sides sofa, Charlie on the right side and Clifford on the left.

"What makes you come here?", Clyde seriously asked.

He remembered Clifford make a call on him 3 days ago. He knows that Clifford is in Canada. He migrated there to study the flow of his own family business 3 years ago same as with Charlie Arguente who migrated in Singapore.

"I drop a call on you. You didn't bother to make a return call. What kind of friend you are?", Clifford sigh making a puppy face.

"We just want to make you a visit. After this long time not being together." Charlie seriously answered.

"Yes, it's been 3 years. Yet you did not give me a call back after that 3 days." Clifford return the conversation in his issue still complaining like a child.

Clyde still silent, just listening and looking to them.

"We want to invite you to hang-out. Just like the old time." Charlie continue stating the true purpose of their visit.

"Yes, we miss you bro." Clifford still whining.

"Okay. I'll go. But first I will let Cass know that I can't come to her today."

"The two of you are still on?" Clifford was amazed. Being the most playboy of the group that girls seems to pass just through to his life.

"I know they will last this long. They always been together. Literally, always as every day.", teased by Charlie.

Clyde pay no attention on the comment of his friends and continue to stand-up and make a call on his telephone.

'Ring. Ring.'

"Sir? What can I…" Melody was interrupted as Clyde speaks.

"Please bring us 3 cups of coffee here. The 2 having a strong blend."

Clyde watching his friends talking seriously. He makes a call on his cellphone.

'Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring.'

No one answered the call. He knows how busy Cass on her work. She always reel-off her workloads on him on their way home.

'Knock. Knock. Knock.'

Melody entered holding the trays of coffee. She slowly put the cups one by one.

Clyde return to his seat busy texting on his phone. He just leaves a message on Cassandra that he can't pick up her tonight. He told that the knights come. Cassandra knows his circle of friends. They are prominent in the university.

Clifford observing Melody. "Hi Miss"

Melody just nodded and smile, then direct his attention to Clyde.

"Sir, is there anything else?"

"Thank you. You may go.", simply replied by Clyde.
