Mac closed the door behind him after Ena had gone in as they both got into the warmth of the apartment, they had barely been in a good shape for the last two weeks, Mac scrambled through to his bedroom, crashing in his bed without undressing, he had a long day already: bading Ville his last farewell to her, the one thing he needed right then was a long rest that was able to make him forget all that happened during the last two weeks.

He closed his eyes to the gentle voice of Ville telling him everything is going to be okay.
Ena walked carefully as she gently took the cups of coffee to Mac's room, she dropped it on his bedside table, before she could wake Mac, He had gotten conscious and noticed her presence, he then looked at Ena, "Hey Ena" he greeted, "morning Mac" she replied, "how long would you have to do this Ena" Mac complained, "till now", "what!, you know, I actually meant you should keep doing this", "nooo, I was only doing what I was, because you needed some of that care at that time, and you always replied me with, [thanks Ena] then, but now its, [how long do you have to do this], that means only one thing, you have grieved enough, so get yourself up and get to school".

As Ena was leaving, Mac smiled so softly, "thank you Ena", "for what" she replied, "for everything" Mac said, Ena looked back and smiled at Mac without noticing his own smile, she turned back and left his room for school.

The winter breeze blew across as Mac set out for school, which did discourage him but, he found a stronger will to go to school, which was about him acing his classes, although he had missed the field trip already which was a huge step away from racing history, he still wanted to try what he could to cover up for all the sessions he missed at school.

The pacesetter woke up to another moment of torture from Drew, who have tried to fetch out information from him, both the ones that did exist and those that he believed should exist in him. "where is iirhabiun" Drew asked for the seventy-sixth time, and the pacesetter gave the same answer he had always given, 'a spit to the floor'. This time around, Drew had stepped up from what he had been doing to the pacesetter. "Do you know the story of the hole man, well, if you have not heard, he was just like you, holding up to all torture types until" Drew put on the drill machine which sounded veern...vein... "so, he finally landed as a case study at Quantico for teaching how to resolve cases related to his, just like yours", Drew raised his eyebrow in requesting confirmation mockingly, he laughed harder as he moved closer to the pacesetter, reeving the drill engine higher.
Mac bumped into Tori in the hallway, "Mac!" surprised to see him, she screamed, "it seems you were not expecting to see me" Mac replied, "not at all Mac" , she paused "you look great, you've gotten over it, haven't you" she looked with a glance that portrays more pity, "I really don't want to spend the next one year of my life grieving", " don't you think you need more time", "actually I'm fine, lets get to class Tori" Mac said as he walked past her. Tori overtook him and said "You know ville wouldn't want you to do this", " and she wouldn't want me to skip SAT next year just because I'm grieving, huh" Drew gave a short sigh and went into the class.

Mitchell led the team that was assigned to Drew retrieval, they have had their nose at his tail for a while until now that they have a tangible trail they could follow.
*********************
Drew had drilled in holes through several veins in the pacesetter's body and the whole situation now look like a complete mess, blood around the room, the bed sheet was stained, as well as the walls of the apartment was looking like an abstract splash of thick red paint on it which didn't look pleasant.
All these were for the sole purpose of retrieving information from the pacesetter since the pacesetter was uncompliant, he decided to kill him. He dressed the pacesetters wound and prepared him for the long journey he had to his grave ahead if him.
********************
Mac and Tori walked each other down the road, heading to the bus stop. "Why did you stop searching for Mac?" Tori asked, "I couldn't accept the fact that Drew is also dead, sometimes it's just better to miss someone than to really lose that person" Drew sighed heavily and looked at Tori with a wide smile. "Can you come over today, I need company ?"Mac asked Tori, "Shall we", they both got on the bus and went over to Mac's place.
********************
When Drew was through with taking care of the pacesetter, he then cocked his gun.
The gunshot blew off the gun from Drew's hand and Mitchell's team got in to save the day, they generally focused on saving the pacesetter and getting him to the safety of the paramedics.
Drew followed Mitchell back to their FBI base and was questioned about the charges that were against him, which the murder charge would have topped it all, and sent him directly to prison, but, he was stripped of his badge and gun.

Drew stood in front of their apartment contemplating whether he should sound the bell or not, although, he had the lock, he didn't want to barge in.
Mac went to get the door after they heard Drew knocking on it, as he opened the door wide, and saw Drew, he hugged him tight in which Drew returned the gesture. Tori watched them both from the kitchen with a wide smile that took over her face.
********************
Tori asked, seeming as if she had not seen them, "who's at the door", " Its Drew" Mac replied, "What the..." as she moved towards the door, Mac and Drew were approaching "Humm, I'll be leaving you two" she looked at them both with an edged smile, and shyly left.
Tori dropped off at Rock Creek, as far as her emotions were concerned, it refrained from letting her body in, nevertheless she pushed far off the control and got in, she followed the cemented path until she got to where Matthew laid, she looked left, thinking about going back, still she pushed on, sat on the grass and rested her head on the tomb-stone, sobbing, knowing for a fact that Drew might be back, but Matthew isn't going to return, not even for a split second.
For a while, Tori sat there telling Matthew all that has happened all the time he hasn't been around, Tori raised her head up to find Esther right in front of her dressed in a red wine wrap dress, and a pair of flat sandals, with a banquet of white roses in her hands, "how did you know I was here" Tori asked, " it'll be stupid if I'd forget the hundredth day Matthew is laying here", Tori tried to recall and count, "yeah, it would have been" she knew her coming there was just a coincidence, and it obviously had meant more now, so she pretended as the latter was her lone reason.
"Just do what you always do man," Ena said to Hugh as they parted. Tori left for home feeling relaxed and fulfilled, while her conscience kept poking her judgments.
When Tori and Ester had spent a little more time with Matthew at the cemetery, they both said few parting words, dropped the white rose banquet and left.
Ena alighted from the bus to the wild street as she found her way to the loft their apartment was, as she got into the reception, her eye caught the television reporter as he broadcasted the arrival of Drew to the world. She looked puzzled but happy, she only did confirm the information when the picture of Drew popped up on the television screen. She hurriedly made her way to the lift to get to their apartment to break the news to Mac.
As she ran down the hallway to apartment 2407, she unlocked the door, and as she was about to tell Mac about the feds finding Drew, she saw Drew lay on the couch in the sitting room, in his night robes. She paused looking so surprised, but not baffled, though she hadn't expected it, she just thought that there was no other place he could stay.
Another sharp thought that came across her mind was the fact that they were about to tell Drew about Ville. The hardest thing for both of them in the past weeks after Ville had died was telling people that they had lost their mother. Her thinking about telling Drew brought back memories of Ville that she fought hard to close up.
Mac and Ena happened to be up at the exact same time, their thought about last night going bad was totally wrong, since the night made them get over Ville's death totally. As they both got to the kitchen, they saw a note on the table which Mac took and read its content, then he looked into the fridge and surprisingly, Drew had prepped food for them, it was then they knew it was a family thing to cook. They both didn't wonder about where Drew was or went, they had the clue that he should be at work.
Drew got in down to the basement of the FBI building, "Its s good thing you're back man" Ryan said approaching him with a stack of papers as he headed towards the A.D's office, they shook hands then Ryan walked to Mr. Jabari with a pitying look. "What's it, Ryan?" "I just found a trail to follow on Mohammed Ghalib". "You mean...", "You know what I exactly mean Sir", "Then what's stopping you from following the trail now, I hope you know He's going to come after us, It's better we give him the first hit"
He looked behind him into the open workspace where Drew's desk was, and before he could say a word Mr. Jabari interrupted, "Oh... no, tell him I want to see him", Ryan stood up going to tell Drew of what Jabari asked him to do, Jabari said "don't tell him about Gahleb", Ryan nodded and left the office.
Mac pushed the double glass door that led to the Charity club room, he sunk in the last chair that was reserved for newbies, after Intoch gave a moving thankful speech about how they all helped to save a man's life at Mirampea Hospital, he went to chat with Mac. "Hey man, I didn't expect to see you around, what's up", "That was a good speech", "yeah, it was indeed a good one.....you need to join the club right?", "well it seems someone's reading minds now", "well you can't, because we don't need people who need to, but people who want to, and you see everyone seated there" he pointed at the people who sat in the room, "...they'll give their life for others", "Intoch, my grades are behind because I lost my mother, and I need this to revive it", "That's exactly the point here, we don't need people who will come because of one reason and leave because of none, we need people, who will come because of one reason and never leave, that's the team that we are, and I'm sorry about Ville, but, there are other clubs out there that needs to be occupied". Intoch stood and left Mac in a muddle.
"Mr. Davis", Mr. Jabari called as Drew stepped into his office. He stood up to shake hands with him, "We're all glad to have to here", he pointed his hands to the chair in front of him, telling Drew to sit. "As much as we really need you back here, we need you to sit back a little, so it'd be fairer to yourself if you took your leave offer" Drew sat up, away from relaxing on the chair and Mr. Jabari continued talking, "We would take care of the iirhabiun while you're away Drew". "Sir, with all due respect, It seems you don't understand the situation here, the iirhabiun are not mostly concerned about the FBI, did it occur to you that they were at my tail for fifteen years?", "they came at the FBI first before the FBI got you involved, so I'll even be giving you the pleasure to head the case if I let you have it, which I did and see where it has got us to", "Ville is dead", Jabari fell to the support of his chair,"Oh...no", "So, would you let me to...", "No, Drew, you can't handle this case, I'll be giving you time to grieve, you need it", "No!, what I need is the permission to go on with this case!" Jabari moved towards Drew "We both know you need to grieve, let it off this case, I assure you we'll take care of it, I'll be expecting your badge and gun".
"It's done" were the words that came out of Hugh's mouth as Ena stood to rest on his of his locker and he walked past her, she joined him in the middle of the hallway "Thank you, Hugh,", "You're welcome Ena" "Why are you suddenly not feeling comfortable with me" Ena asked as they both walked side by side and Hugh walked faster trying to avoid her. "Because, I only help people once, and for you, it's now a two time thing, and it's not going to be more than this", "well I'm not hoping you'd help me another time", "and I don't care" Hugh covered the meter distance between them and the male bathroom in a jiffy and shut the door at her.
"Hey, Mac" Tori called from the laboratory she was in. "What are you doing here?" Mac asked Tori, its more than obvious" "...and I don't just seem to understand" "okay, let me pretend as if you don't, I'm making of for the times I wasn't around, I'm helping Mrs. Jonas to make up for my grades" Mac intentionally pushed a glass beaker off the table and caught it. "It looks like I'm helping someone now", "I'll pretend as if I did not know you pushed it" she pointed at the beaker, "I'll talk to her", "thank you Tori", " You're a welcome man, she patted his shoulder".
Drew stopped at the Turner cemetery and walked in after verifying his identity, He was in a black trenched coat, saw the tombstone from a distance and led himself there slowly, the image of the position he had left her the other time he saw her was still on his mind, but he felt more appealed with the realization that he had made things good between Ville and himself before she passed away.
