Mohammed Ghaleb

"Ghaleb! Ghaleb!! Ghaleb!!!" She called. Ghaleb sat by the river, his best spot to be, but his mom, Krishna wouldn't approve of him to go there anytime. He would always go back home when she calls, but this time was different, he was adamant and reluctant to go home, so he sat there waiting for her to drag him away. As he sat there after waiting for a while expecting Krishna, he felt a strange warmth, all for him to look back and see his cherished village go down into ashes, he was sore afraid, but he managed to cross the river tipping his leg into the stones that were at the big enough to hold him. As soon as he crossed the river and looked back to his village, it had burnt down and the flames of fire were just licking the remains the fire had left for them. Ghaleb closed his eyes tightly before he woke up. The nightmare of what happened in the past had repeated itself more consistently for over a month, which has been fueling the anger that was quite asleep in him.

"Sir, they're here with the message", the guard that stood at the door of where he had slept, "they should hold on, I'll be with them in a short while" Ghaleb replied. After he had finished freshening up, he went to meet the other men that came from The Pacesetter, they greeted and handed over the letter to him, he opened it and in it was written "You're next, they are coming after you" He tore the paper after reading the message and said, "then, we have a headstart already".

Ena sat on the study chair adjacent her bed, suddenly the air that passed through the orifice of her room became cold and freezing, facing her laptop and continually steering at the mail in front of her, from SAT. She took in a deep breath, the one she regarded as the last after series of promises to herself that she'll open the mail after the same act, but this time she was more serious and determined, so she punched the button, but closed her eyes. As she slightly opened her eyelids, she saw a note that didn't contain the figure, just before she could have time to read thoroughly the full content, she saw some words that meant the total difference of what the message was supposed to convey.

She could barely make herself come to the realization she wasn't dreaming, she tried to talk herself out of the illusion while she was still wandering in the shock. She closed her eyes and got into a real one; in it she was about checking her SATs score as she was minutes ago, as she clicked on the mail, she paused as same and jumped up in jubilation of 1432 she had. She walked out of her room quietly to the kitchen and sat on the high stool that was at the center table, she wondered about what was going to happen next, in no time was everyone going to realize she got herself into a serious mess, she thought about Drew, he was just getting a hang of himself after his return, this was not generally the best time to introduce a nuisance.

As her thought grew wider, she became lost in time and space. "Ena", "Ena", "Ena", "Ena", she felt the need of answering to a call she knew nothing about its direction, suddenly she jerked up, she saw Drew standing by the door resting on the pillar of the wall. "Ohh, you're awake, I hope I didn't wake you up", "not at all bunny", the words bore a huge smile on her face. "it happens to be that I ponder here too", "really, then we have a few things we don't do in common, what do ponder here about", "Ville... and work, wait... there is no way you're making me tell you things about work", they both smiled. "What's on your mind Ena", "school... SAT result, there's quite nothing to ponder on, I'm just here to calm down on the tension", "alright, more days like this will surely come by", Drew took a sit also at the center table as Ena passed him a glass of water. "Ena, I know I have not been in your life, and I do not deserve to be concerned, but I know something is wrong, and I really want to be part of it", "Ena held the glass of water she had in hand so tightly that it could break", "I'm in a big mess right now Dad", "she looked up raising her head with conflicting interest to her mind", "then I'll say we have a lot in common, what's your mess Ena?". "I got someone to take SATs for me" she tried pushing her head back down, but it just remained up, looking at Drew, "Drew arms broke, he couldn't say a thing at the moment, he took a full gulp of water before he could respond. "you'll be fine Ena, I'll take care of things tomorrow, we've had a long night"

He swung his head back, forth as he sang along to the song that played loudly to his eardrums. He alighted from the bus and took his way down the street, as he got to the front of the porch of a chalet bungalow, he dropped his bag on the wooden chair that hung on two chains to the roof of the building. He rang the doorbell and in a minute the door opened, "what!! what!! are!!" Tori landed in a hug with her brother James that had left Washington for Boston a long time ago, Immediately after he left, she would visit him at Boston quarterly, but for the past two years, she had always missed that Boston trip for one reason or the other.

She looked at him repeatedly the same way anyone would look at an alien. She helped in moving his bag in struggling to lift the bag feet above the floor. They both sat on the couch gulping a warm glass of milk. "'Never knew you could come back to Washington" "I guess people change after all...huh", "only if they see something better at the other side.....hmm...what brought you back to Washington man?", "Oh," he looked back to the direction of where the bedrooms were, "where's mom?", "she's gone to see Olivia, her psychiatrist", "this early?", "Yeah, she had another episode of a panic attack this morning" he rested his head on the neck of the couch and sighed heavily.

"I only got my SAT scores canceled" she raised her eyebrows in shame as she told Drew over the phone, "things are better that way, you can just make it up and take another test next two weeks or anytime its convenient", "yeah", "if you think you need a tutor, you should tell me, alright", "Yes, Sir, thanks a lot dad, this means a lot".

"Sir, we just traced an unknown private jet heading to New York, it took off from Afghanistan, it is suspected to be Mohammed Ghaleb's" Drew said, "trace the jet till it lands, I'll disband a force at New York now" Mr. Jabari said, as he picked up the telephone and rung the FBI at New York. Almost immediately after Mr. Jabari had rung the FBI at New York did the jet disappear from the route it was being traced, all effort to find the jet back was unsuccessful as Ryan was under intense pressure, he hit the keys hard as if it would make them trace the jet back. As he continued to trace the jet, he got a bomb detection alert on the screen of his desktop, he froze for a second before trying all possible means to hack the bomb, he notified Drew, Mr. Jabari, immediately.

Drew called Mitchell who was at the City Hall conference where the bomb was about to be detonated, she quickly ordered FBI agents to stop the program and lead every single soul to a safe abode, while she set out in the search of where the bomb was, as soon as she got to where the bomb was, it had only twenty-three seconds to detonate, she searched for the control panel of the bomb but couldn't find one, so she asked Ryan to trace it, just as she got the location, she sprinted there, and started unlocking the wires that made the bomb, cutting of the last wire was a relief to her not until Ryan told her to leave the building and that the bomb was still activated, she raced towards the farthest angle away from the bomb because she knew she couldn't reach the entrance door of the building within three seconds that the bomb was about to go dboooooooo...oooooooom. As the flames rose up to the sky, fire extinguishers dashed inside the building to save Mitchell and the bits of the building that remained.

"Movies could get boring to me at times" Tori said as she sat next to Mac on their couch, "Oh really, didn't know that part of you exist until now... okay, then decide what it pleases you to watch", "as she switched from one channel to the other, they both saw the headline of the reported news that the city hall just exploded" Mac jumped up to get his phone, and called Drew in a second, "You are fine right?" Mac asked this question without listening to what Drew had to say first, "Yes son, I'm good" thanks for calling, Mac hung up the phone, and sighed, "He's alright right", "Yeah, he is", "Thank God", they both returned to fixing their gaze at the television in aim to getting the full story because it could come up in their next English composition test. During the newscast, camera footage of the area minutes before the detonation was shown, comparing it to the area view after the detonation, as the video played, Tori noticed a face she knew, she took the picture of it immediately and zoomed out the picture to verify it, she had no doubt whom it was.
