Master Of Myths (Reposted under the same name due to an error)

The world doesn't lack geniuses, nor does it lack monstrous prodigies And if that wasn't enough it is also filled with opportunities for those who wish to climb the top without a talent of their own Thus some are born among the stars while others rise into the sky like the morning sun But one couldn't accept his fate, nor the fate he would acquire. Instead, he wanted to be the one to create those who reach the apex, the one to give and take, for he had enough of the worlds whimsical tides

Fun Battles

Already exhausted and weak, Ellis who was exposed to the paralyzing scent couldn't support her body anymore and could only slump to the ground, allowing the blood mixed with poison to wash over her body

She didn't have to suffer from its numbing touch for long though as she was picked up and thrown over the shoulder by YuJu who started to head out the building

Soon they were back at the entrance and saw Anput anxiously standing by the doors, her tail wagging in worry

Looking at her distressed state he gave her a slight rub on the head and put Ellis down next to her

Laying on the ground Ellis shot Anput a questioning glance only to see her dodge eye contact, so she turned toward him instead

"I told her not to come help, one of you had to deal with the beasts while the other is out of commission"

He stated without providing much information, she was already used to his hidden agendas though so she didn't mind it and merely closed her eyes to get some rest

'If both of you can't fight and we're late then I might as well kill the thing myself"

He thought in his head, thankfully the worst hadn't come and he could continue on with his plans, even if Ellis didn't get to level fifty she might still be able to get through it with a few more levels, Anput, on the other hand, needed to get to level fifty no matter what while he had reached his required level some time ago

The three waited in silence for more than ten minutes, that's when Ellis opened her eyes once again

"Poison gone already?"

He said with a raised brow to which Ellis nodded slightly

"Good, we will go help her level up again, you stay here and rest, if anything happens just rush to us"

With that, he got up and headed back inside, Anput alongside him

The closer the two got to the battle location the more their bodies started to relax, it wasn't their intentions to but their bodies seemed to slip into sleep slowly

"You won't lose control with only this intensity of poison, and it won't really affect your battle much anyway, in fact, I dare say it's going to be an easy one"

He smirked mischievously while looking at the faraway waters that seamed to have stilled

Ignoring the sticky blood under their feet the two moved toward the waters without an ounce of caution, YuJu seemed to have great confidence and Anput always trusted him to know what to do

The waters turned reddish from all the blood that was slowly assimilating into it but it would seem it would take some time to diffuse it fully

Anput stood before the edge, ready to jump in and start the leveling spree

"The poison in the air isn't as effective as the one in the water, if you jump in now you will be paralyzed in under five seconds"

"Wou?!"

Hastily backing away she looked at the bloody waters in horror, being paralized underwater meant drowning for sure

She turned to her master who was confident of himself still and wanted to see how he would deal with this situation

She saw him look around for a second, grab an arm thick broken pipe from the nearby wreckage, then proceed to poke it into the water, fiddling with it left and right with a look one would have when they are fishing

Seeing as it might take quite some time she sat her butt on the ground, but the poisoned blood stung it hard making her yelp softly while standing back up looking at the ground in blame

Her comical reactions were caught within his view range but he didn't laugh at her, he was busy lifting the pipe up with a hard pull

"Hm!"

A deep firm sound came out his mouth as his muscles tensed up, a second later he fished out a dozen bodies from the calm waters of the water, throwing them to the back with a large swing

"Sisss" "Hisss~"

The bodies that struck the floor hissed at him while unwinding themselves from each other and the pipe to reveal their long scaly bodies, their appearance was that of the huge snake slain by the side except they were on a much smaller scale

"Rargh!"

He needn't command her to fight as she plunged into the few snakes with a little too much enthusiasm, maybe she wanted to level up quickly or she didn't want to be outdone by Ellis who slew the giant beast whos mere corpse made her gulp in anxiety, or perhaps she just wanted vengeance for the earlier sting

Either way, he watched her rip the helpless snakes apart easily, though they were pretty high level they were no match outside of water, these beasts would have come out to help their leader had they been able to, their absence made it clear they were unable to exit the waters unlike their huge counterpart

'Why are they here though?"

From the information hed gathered he knew the beasts here were carps, presumably the carp that came here came through the pipes and settled down, after that they started evolving here into a certain type of recycling beast since they had no food and...

'Kristian you liar, how did I get tricked by such an obvious lie'

What carps, they couldn't even get through the pipes with their wide bodies, it made sense that the snakes were the one to use the pipes and that huge one probably broke it by accident when entering and got stuck here

'It must not be able to survive out of water for too long else were have seen it come out at some time, that bastard must have killed it but couldn't process its corps so he lied to keep us away from the area'

This reminded YuJu that other than the butterfly effect he had to watch out for tampered or wrong information, unless he was sure of it he should be careful when planing his next few steps

His eyes moved from the easy fight toward the body of the beast, he thought for a few seconds while rubbing the tattoo on his hand but could only sigh in the end

'It's too low levelled to make good equipment out of, no unique trait yet other than the tail and poison, if we had left it though we would have been able to make quite the nice set'

Alas, it wasn't meant to be

"Woo! He he"Grabbing his attention Anput wagged her tail happily while looked at him for praise after finishing off the beasts by herself

He didn't give her any pats though, instead plunging the pipe back in but on a spot further than the last one followed by another hard pull and swing, the result was another group of snakes hissing threateningly while crawling toward the water

Since her task wasn't done she guessed she must kill a bunch more of these slimy things to get her praise

"Rargh!"

Another shout, another jump, and another one-sided massacre

But this time before she was even done with this batch the sound of water breaking came, a thud was heard next along with hisses, a sequence too familiar for her as she guessed before even looking that another batch was sent toward her

A challenge, that's what she thought when her master gave her more beasts to fight, she was happy that he was trying to test her might, at least until another group was thrown at her within a few seconds

"???"

Her round eyes gave him a dumbfounded stare, then looked to the snakes, and then back to him

A total of fifty snakes?! Her eyes seemed to say, and to that he shook his head and plunged the pipe once more into the water

"!! Awuuu!"

Sensing the situation getting out of hand she howled toward the ceiling and made her move, uncaringly striking at the snakes who had gotten a little confidant with their huge numbers as they stopped running for the water and took it upon themselves to fight her with all they had

They outnumbered her greatly, still it was an experience she had once been through and while the enemies at the time were of lower levels they weren't much different from these whos power was greatly cut by them just being out of water

The pace at which new beasts came out was faster than before but he always kept it within limits, she still made mistakes here and there but nothing too fatal, the ones that might have her a little injured were also avoided when a mysterious pipe came out of nowhere and struck the snakes on the head until they cried in anger at the unknown assailant

'Heat sensory doesn't help if you don't have enough perception to make use of it'

Right now he appeared to be a static object to them much like any of the rocks and walls nearby. even if he struck them every now and then they couldn't trace it back to his location

'How enjoyable it would be if levelling was always this easy'

His lips were raised at the thought while he hit another snake on the head making it look like it wanted to cry tears of sorrow but couldnt
