Marvel: Typhon the Maker

(Cover Image is not mine) In my life as a human, I was an artist, creating various works of art and drawings both during my actual work and during my spare time. I drew monsters, some from myths and legends, others from popular shows, anime, comics, and things like that. Sometimes it was due to my self-interest and other times it was because I was hired. I didn't make it big or anything like that but I was still living a good life, had a wife eventually alongside some kids but well old age gets to everyone eventually. I was sad that I was dying, but I accepted it, I had my children and one or two grandchildren alongside me. That and the rest of my family but I didn't have my wife alongside me, my muse, Rose, kept me grounded, and made sure my mind didn't wander off too often. When she died it broke all our hearts and well I went to a dark place, my work got darker, and the few clients I had noticed this as well. I think it was this dark part of my life that got its attention, I had no idea what it truly was all I saw was a bright light and it put something in me, my very soul, and tossed me through a vortex. Then I appeared on a lifeless planet, alongside countless other beings each one a newborn like myself. Then I knew what I was, what that being gave me, and the power I now wielded. I was Typhon the Maker, the origin of the monsters of the universe, and wielder of the Annihilation Maker from DxD. This was my purpose, for I was no longer human and nowhere near my timeline/world.

The Elementals

While they were busy helping make this plane liveable I began shaping the what was soon to be primordial elementals. Those who would also help run this plane alongside the first three children, who help supply the necessary mana and magic into the realm and help create weaker elementals.

While I was planning all this out, I did have some time to think to myself, to properly understand what I was doing. The Demiurge while not as powerful as God, was a god in itself as well only little g instead of big g. Even then I started questioning where my knowledge came from, and how I knew all that I knew. I found the answers while designing the four elemental beings.

Humans knew how to walk, they knew at least on some level how their body functioned and while yes it took time to have a deeper understanding of themselves they would still understand themselves. It was the same for Elder gods we just knew, we just knew our souls, our body, our purpose. It was how I knew I had the Annihilation Maker, although it was just as possible that was the still human part of my mind attributing a fictional item to what my abilities were.

It was possible through all these events, God touching me in my soul form's chest and the Demiurge giving me a new body. They knew what I was, perhaps all God did was push me in the right direction, the one I somehow instinctively knew as Demiurge knew as well and that's why they gave me a body. Questions, questions that would perhaps never be answered, not unless I found them again somehow, and even then would they give me answers, perhaps if they wanted to but I just couldn't see why they would. They believed I had a purpose and simply gave me the tools to accomplish it, they wanted monsters so I would give them monsters.

So I just kept making, I kept creating and making the elemental beings, each made from the classic four elements. For the first one, I did water, I had to create a truly gigantic serpent, one with scales of deep almost black blue, with dark yellow eyes, I would name them Leviathan, a bit cliche but appropriate for what I was making.

The next would be the air elemental, I had created a gigantic living tornado, a being who would control the air and skies, who would create the sky covering this world, getting rid of the constant inky blackness. It would control the storms alongside the water elemental and natural disasters, how the world would be shaped by the elements alongside the other three and Drasilaga included.

Then the Earth elemental, I made them gigantic, a being who could shake the earth with every step and yet would be slow, he would barely move across my dimension. I had made a gigantic black turtle, a being made of black stone, which was forged from the ground I was born from. It took a little doing to get it without being noticed by any of the other powers, of the other Elder gods who possibly survived and made their own planes, of Gaea and Atum. It was worth it, however, because I needed it to be strong, to have a bit of the energy we left behind as we ripped ourselves from the very earth.

For fire, for what could be one of the more destructive elements if I didn't make it just right. I didn't want to go for a fiery phoenix or a volcanic-looking dragon, no I needed something more unique. Although in the end, I did go for a draconic-looking creature, it wasn't a typical one. I had made a hydra, one born from the remains of the black stone I had on hand and from the lava as well. its three heads would form alongside its main body, its scales would be the black stone acting as the being's natural armor.

Each one would act as a ruler over a minor plane within this place I ruled, helping supply the world with its elemental magic and mana. Snapping my fingers and breathing life into them, took a bit out of me and well I didn't think I could create another being anytime soon not until these beings I had already made could further supply me and recharge so I could create a few more.

It didn't matter though all the beings I had made would pay off soon enough alongside my own creations, they too would make far more monsters. They would help lessen the load and help me spread these creatures across the universe once everything was nice and ready, although it would take quite a while before they would all be ready. Perhaps the various possible dragon species if they were all properly grown, that and their overall strength level.

Not on the level of an Elder god or one of the newer generations of gods, but strong enough to give even the toughest of demigods or heroes a hard time. However, it would depend on the differences in strength between the various possible dragon species if Tiamat and Bahamut did everything right. This would be the same for the elementals.

Speaking of which the four elementals looked around, taking in their new surroundings like newborn babes. In this case, though it was quite literal as they had just been born after I carefully crafted them and gave them life. They looked up and saw me, instinctively knowing that I was their creator and they roared out, asking me what their purpose was, and why they were created.

"Go, create your elemental planes, create your own elementals."

"Help make this dimension a place where monsters, where beings like you can thrive, have a place to return to after their time in the universe I was born from, the universe you will go to one day."

They roared out, Leviathan going to the edge of the continent, creating the waters that would surround the mainland. The black turtle whose I named Behemonth would burrow into the earth, creating a plane that both connected and separated from my own. The Air elemental who I named Aetharious, would create a bright blue sky over the continent and would hide their plane amongst the newly formed clouds. Finally the Hydra, the most destructive of the elementals, one who I named Vulcanus, whose very plane will be easily seen as he made the sun that would shine down on us all.

I looked at my work and smiled, awaiting the magic to supply me with power once more, to let me create all the monsters that would one day spread across the stars of the universe I was born in.
