The First Three

While my realm lacked color and variety, it would do for now as I created my monsters and my art pieces. I began to slowly craft a grand beast, a god of my own making, I would need to create two beings one who would represent chaos and the other order, balance within my realm as it expanded and became more well-defined. They would be instrumental in helping keep everything in check, to keep this soon-to-be world in check, to help make sure things run smoothly. 

I began shipping a large dragon, one with red scales, four legs, and two large wings but unlike most dragons, I gave it five heads. A red one for fire, blue for lighting, white for ice, black for acid, and green for poison. I was essentially creating Tiamat from dnd only they would be a god of chromatic dragons and of chaos, they would be in charge of disorder. 

It took quite a bit of time to get the final design done, but it was well worth and soon enough her brother would form. I gave it a golden body, going for what was essentially a metallic version of Tiamat, a gold head for fire, silver for ice, bronze for lighting, copper for acid, and brass for poison. They would be equals, only Bahamut would be the god of metallic dragons and of order, he would balance Tiamat, the dying to her yang. 

I also made sure to put a special little function in both of them, if one would kill the other both would die. They will know this instinctually and know that they were to not directly battle each other. I also gave them a minor gift of creation, not as powerful as my own but enough to create draconic species, to create new beings and monsters for this world. It would help ease my burden a bit, and free up some time for creating new beings. 

Well let's hope it would turn out that way, and once I was done designing them before I did so I began designing a third one, a being to balance things out. I made a large tree-like being, one who was both plant and monster. I based my design on Yggdrasil, but I didn't want it to be a straight-up ripoff so while I made the tree massive and rugged it roots deep into the ground. I did give it two massive draconic-looking arms and the face of a serpent, giving it a monstrous look. 

I walked towards ready to give my creations life, ready to give them existence and allow them to exist. 

"I name you Drasilaga, the god of nature, of balance, and he who would balance Bahamut and Tiamat, to balance both chaos and order."

"You will help make this plane livable, to allow my monsters to exist as they please."

Then with a snap of my fingers, they sprung to life roaring out into the void as my plane, no it shall be named "Tartarus" the land of monsters where all beasts of either my creation or others will come after death. They rose to life and understood their purpose, understanding what would happen if they tried to kill each other, well except for Drasilaga who stood calm ready to intervene if the two tried to fight each other. 

They didn't however instead all three bowed down awaiting my orders, and since I had full control over my plane I erected a chair for me to sit upon. The first to speak was Tiamat who spoke with all five heads in unison, which hopefully Bahamot would do as well. 

"What would you have us creator?"

Bahamot spoke next, and I was right in thinking they would speak with all five heads. 

"Yes, what would you order of us?"

I put my hands out gesturing to the entirety of Tartarus.

"Create your dragons, create begins that will obey your will, Tiamat create the five races of chromatic dragons, Bahamot create the five races of metallic dragons, and Dragsilaga make this place livable as I gather more materials to expand our realm."

All three nodded and Drasilaga spoke slowly in a deep voice. 

"It...shall..be...done...creator."

Both Tiamat and Bahamut went their separate ways, to separate parts of the continent to begin creating the two dragon types. All the while Drasilaga began planting itself further into the ground, to begin spreading plant life across the continent that was Tartarus. To let it go through the process smoothly I removed the chair I was sitting on and floated above the plane, wanting to give them all the time they needed to create a perfectly suitable environment for my creations and other such beings to live on. 

It would also give me plenty of time to come up with a few more creatures, perhaps I would create elementals, beings who would create mini planes of their own if I made them right. Honestly, now that I thought of it I was leaning into the DnD style of monsters and beings but for now, it would do. Any being that could help in my supply of mana as they existing would help increase the supply of magic and mana in the air. While my own supply was massive as I was an Elder god, I still needed to be mindful as I was on the weaker side of them, far weaker than Gaea and Atum itself. 

while I was not omnipotent, I could see everything happening within my realm, I could see Tiamat and Bahamut creating the first two dragon species. The first two to be created were the Red and Gold Dragons, and the first two fire breathers, those who would help create Chaos and keep order. I could see them shape mana and creation into these beings, all the while Drasilaga and begun spreading itself across the continent but it was missing one key thing, water, it needed water to survive in this place even if the magic in the air would help it survive for a time.
