I'm flying to Japan soon

I wanted to share some updates with you all. I received an email from the embassy saying I can pick up my Visa tomorrow, which means I'll be heading to Japan next week. It's exciting, but I'll have to return home in November for my graduation ceremony.

Tomorrow, I'm having an online meeting with the hiring manager to discuss my departure (mainly because they helped me find accommodation 😅).

She also sent over some PDFs about some tasks I'll need to do before settling in, mainly market research, which I'm pretty much already familiar with, and even the company's guidelines, which I didn't know existed (especially in a Japanese company).

The great news is that things are moving positively. However, there's also some not-so-great news.

Due to all these changes, it looks like I won't have much time for writing.

Rest assured, I won't abandon the story, but I wanted to let you know that updates might take longer.

This is mainly because I will be working at a consulting company, which will likely keep me quite busy, especially considering the potential for overtime (I'm working in an actual Japanese company, guys. Not a foreign company that is located in Japan).

While it won't be too overwhelming (I'm just gaslighting myself into believing this), as I'll primarily handle company projects and offer some assistance with general affairs, it's still going to be a challenge.

That's all I wanted to share for today. Thank you very much for your understanding and support.
