Rage Pt 2

Taking a deep breath, Alex fixed his gaze on Jean, Storm, and Raven, a fierce determination overtaking him. They were mere illusions, after all. What couldn't be destroyed?

With a swift motion, Alex's hand connected with Storm's neck.

"Sweetheart! Have you lost your mind?! Let Storm go!" Raven's shocked protest echoed.

"Teacher!"

"Silence! They're just illusions!" Alex's eyes widened suddenly as he unleashed his power, reducing Storm, Jean, and even Raven to ashes in an instant.

Gasping for breath, Alex collapsed to the ground, the pain in his heart intensifying.

The anguish wasn't just from the illusion, but also from the act of killing his beloved. Even in fantasy, his heart ached.

"Stryker... you're all going to pay!" A cold fury flashed in Alex's eyes, a realization dawning upon him. Kindness only invites pain and fear. Admiration turns to avoidance.

"Teacher..." Anna's shocked gaze fell upon Alex. Did she witness Alex kill Sister Storm, Sister Jin, and Sister Raven?

With a cold expression, Alex flicked his fingers, reducing Anna to ash. The cake in her hand crumbled, revealing a message inside.

"Teacher, I like you."

Alex's heart clenched with agony.

Gasping for breath, Alex uttered a pained roar.

Scarlet fury blazed in Alex's eyes.

As they descended the stairs, Katie and Anya wore innocent smiles.

Alex's gaze fell, and with a wave of his hand, Anya and Katie disintegrated into ash, dissipating completely.

With each step Alex took, the surroundings crumbled into dust, slowly fading away.

Before long, Emma, Jessica, Charles, and Eric all fell to his hands. With each life taken, Alex's mental turmoil intensified.

Jason could no longer contain Alex.

Suddenly, Alex's eyes snapped open, radiating a terrifying aura of vengeance.

Gazing at the woman before him, Alex followed her arm, finding her hand embedded in her own heart.

If not for Wolverine's remarkable resilience, he'd be dead.

"You're all going to pay! There's nowhere to hide!" Alex's voice echoed coldly, his eyes fixed on the surrounding Sentinels.

Taking the lead, he seized the woman's neck, slowly tightening his grip. She wasn't the target of his vengeance; Stryker was.

In an instant, the woman's eyes widened, her body disintegrating into dust, slowly fading away.

Two palm-sized adamantium claws fell to the ground, striking the lawn and overwhelming the emerald grass.

With scarlet eyes fixed on Stryker, Alex's gaze dripped with menace, instilling fear in the colonel's eyes.

"Damn Nick Fury, he never warned me this guy was so powerful!" Stryker cursed Fury silently. No wonder the bastard didn't show up.

"Let's end this. How do you want to meet your end?" Alex's voice was gravelly, his eyes blazing with murderous intent. He dispatched everyone in the illusory environment with ruthless efficiency, his mind consumed by rage.

Even though he knew it was all an illusion, the pain still cut deep.

To break free, he needed to push himself to the limit. Jason's abilities not only shaped the environment but also soothed the minds of his victims. If Alex's mental state remained calm, he'd never break free.

There was no choice.

"Bring it on!" Despite his fear, Stryker relied on the Sentinels for confidence. Surely, with hundreds of them, they could handle Alex.

"Just relying on these bastards?" Alex sneered. Facing the onslaught of hundreds of three-story robots, he merely snapped his fingers. In an instant, the Sentinels were reduced to dust, as if they'd never existed.

Stryker panicked.

His reliance shattered in an instant. How could he not be afraid?

"Looks like I underestimated you, ants. Allow me to show you the price of underestimation. And for that, I'll thank you and invite you to hell. How does that sound?" Alex grinned maliciously.

Stryker's expression turned cold, his eyes glinting with murder. Slowly, he approached Alex, desperation evident in his voice. "This wasn't my idea. I wanted to deal with Charles. Spare me, and I'll tell you who's behind this."

Watching from the surveillance, Fury's expression darkened. He'd witnessed the power of the Sentinels firsthand. If Alex found out it was his plan...

The consequences would be catastrophic.

"The mastermind behind this? No need. I've realized humans are expendable. All I want is a peaceful life. But if you keep fucking it up, now just fucking die."
