Chapter 13: Duping SHIELD

Just like that, Emma passed the night without sleeping, thanks to Tsunade's ability. During the war period, there were times when they would go for days without sleep.

She was still very energetic, more than someone who had a good night's sleep.

During this night, she looked for more information about this world, but unfortunately, she didn't find much because it seems that the superhero era hasn't started yet.

The only superhuman beings talked about are the Mutants and the Fantastic Four. Maybe there are also some hidden by the military, like the Hulk, about whom there isn't any information on the internet.

Also during this night, she thought of many plans for what she would do, and after much reflection, she decided it was wise to first pay a visit to Kamar Taj, to the Ancient One more precisely.

Since even until now, the Ancient One hasn't come to invite her for tea, it means she is safe, but due to the particularity of her system, she is bound to change the future.

This means she would meet the Ancient One sooner or later due to her actions, like, for example, healing Doctor Strange when his hands were injured.

Anyway, just the thought of Tony Stark would give anyone who has watched the comics and reincarnated in the Marvel world some headaches because you never know when he will invent some catastrophe, like an Ultron suddenly coming at you with the Power Stones, and you know you are f*cked.

Then there's Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic. He is even more of an as*hole than Tony Stark because the number of disasters caused by his mistakes is uncountable.

After these two people, there's Professor X and Doctor Strange. Any of those so-called intelligent people are like a world-level curse. When these four unite and join the Illuminati, the best thing you can do is leave the universe as soon as possible.

Speaking of Professor X, her mutant power is called Barrier. She tested it, and maybe because it's at level one, right now she can only solidify around one part of her body. As for its durability, she hasn't tested it yet, and she isn't sure if it can resist Professor X later.

So, she would never let the birth of Doctor Strange happen unless the Ancient One intervened and used another method.

But before all of this, she has to dupe SHIELD. She knows that she is being watched, and it would be strange if she suddenly disappeared.

She prepared herself and walked to a coffee shop she visited frequently, which didn't appear suspicious.

What's surprising was that on her way, she was recognized by many people as the one who was broadcasted on TV since yesterday, and some were even asking her for an autograph.

Fortunately, it's not like five years later when smartphones were popular, and everyone was a self-made media, or she would have been annoyed.

She finally arrived at the coffee shop, which was less crowded. She directly walked toward the toilets as if she had some issues.

After making sure that no one was following her, thanks to her perception ability, she created a shadow clone. Without giving an order, the shadow clone used the transformation jutsu and transformed into a cat.

Tsunade left the toilet as if nothing had happened and found a place to sit like a normal person who came just for morning coffee, leaving after about 30 minutes.

After leaving, the shadow clone, who was using transformation jutsu, also left the toilet swiftly without anyone noticing it.

Yesterday, Emma had searched for the whereabouts of the address 177A Bleecker Street, Greenwich Village, New York City, New York.

She remembers this because it was mentioned in many fanfics she had read. This is the address of Kamar Taj in New York, and she had a rough idea of where it was, so the shadow clone was heading in the direction she had estimated.

It took the shadow clone about forty minutes before finally finding the New York sanctuary.

Through the chakra, the shadow clone could feel some kind of weird energy affecting the whole street, most likely the magic hiding the sanctuary.

Seeing that the people were really behaving as if they couldn't see the place, the shadow clone walked toward the door and knocked.

It took about five seconds before a man dressed in Kamar Taj monk attire opened the door. Surprise was written all over his face.

As the magician guarding the sanctuary, of course he was watching her. From the moment she approached, he had seen her, but he thought it was just by mistake that she could enter and was wondering if there was something wrong with the barrier. But when she came and knocked on the door, he knew it wasn't that simple.

He heard the woman say, "Hello, I'm Emma Müller. I'm here to meet the Supreme Mage, the Ancient One."

Hearing her mention the Supreme Mage and knowing her name, he was even more shocked.

Before he could finish speaking, he saw a portal suddenly open beside him, and the Ancient One appeared. She nodded to him, and he responded with a nod. Although they didn't say anything, sometimes you can understand each other without speaking.

The shadow clone isn't Emma after all. It didn't have her full perception or it would have sensed some movement when the space was opened.

It was only after the mage moved that she saw the Ancient One was there. Thankfully, it was the female version.
