A huge booked appeared in front of Arthur. Just a single glance and Arthur could tell that the book was atleast ten centimetres thick. Not to mention that the other two dimensions were thirty centimetres and twenty-five centimetres respectively.

As soon as the book appeared in the room, Arthur could swear that a greedy stare fell on the book. Of course, who else could it be other than Sofia.

After reading books for a few days, she has developed a liking to reading books. Maybe it would be better to call it as her not so secret fetish.

After all, who wouldn't like to read books if they could gain knowledge and understand it completely by reading it just once. Anyone with a sane mind would love it.

Today was already Saturday, and a holiday in school since it was the weekend. So, Arthur decided to focus completely on creating an A.I. along with Sofia. For the weekends as well as the entire next week, they were completely immersed in this particular book except for school and his daily or in this case, nightly training sessions.

By the end of the next week, not only his knowledge about A.I. has improved, even his strength has improved exponentially. When in the beginning Arthur said that the most terrifying thing about Shadow Monarch was his growth rate, he wasn't joking at all. Arthur was dead serious at that time.

By the end of the week, Arthur could already lift about 1,000 tons. And could still finish five kilometers with 20 minutes, though now with 1,000 tons of weight. Not just that, he has also created a plan to train his sixth sense. He did it by using the most simplest method he could think of.

{Flashback.}

<Sofie, can you make a huge dome about fifteen meters tall with walls forming a square.>

<I will try.>

Sofia did as Arthur said. She made a huge room with a ceiling at the height of fifteen meters. The room covered a square area of 225 square meters. And Arthur was trapped within the room.

<Sofie, I need a blind fold and weights, about 900 tons. Increase it by one ton every minute.>

<Hmm.>

In the next moment, Arthur's eyes were covered by a white blindfold and his body by a white combat suit. Immediately, he felt a weight of 900 tons pressing over his body but he could still move freely though only at the speed of a peak human athlete.

<Okay, now that's in place, so Sofie, I want you to shoot small projectiles at me from anywhere on the four side walls. One every second and at the speed of 10 meter per second. Increase the number by one every minute.>

*Pew*

Immediately, a projectile shot from the wall facing Arthur's back. Arthur noticed it and quickly ducked downwards as the projectile was heading for his neck. The projectile passed from above him but in the next second, another projectile shot out from his right. Arthur, who didn't have time to judge its exact direction, tumbled backwards barely saving himself from being hit.

"The he-" Arthur wasn't able to finish his curse as a projectile arrived from his left. He hurriedly jumped up but the projectile still hit him in his left ankle. "Fu*k!" It was painful as hell, Arthur thought that the combat suit would prevent him from any damage, but that wasn't the case. It completely absorbs the momentum and transferred it on Arthur's skin with hundred percent efficiency.

"Sofia, what the hell did you do to t-" But before he could complain, another projectile sneaked upon him from his back which he barely manage to survive. And it appeared that it was even slightly faster than the last. Arthur continued dodging all the projectiles for the next twenty minutes, well, most of the projectiles. But soon it reached the point that even if he could sense the projectiles, his body couldn't react properly.

It was mainly due to three factors. Firstly, he was inexperienced. After all, his sixth sense wasn't like Spider-Man's, in which, his body would move on its own accords to survive the danger. All the movements must be made by Arthur himself.

Secondly, the weights were proving to be quite the trouble. They not only limited his movements but they also prevented him from recovering his stamina. It looked like the biology books that Sofia was reading bared quite the fruitful results, but definitely, Arthur was not liking it. His body being manipulated by someone was definitely not a good feeling he would like to experience again.

And lastly, Arthur felt like Sofia was toying with him. She might have even found it quite the fun to hit him with projectiles. She was deliberately making things hard for him. Arthur didn't knew if she was just making fun of him or she really wanted him to grow stronger. Arthur didn't knew, but he only hoped that it was the latter.

{Flashback ends.}

Coming back to the A.I., Arthur and Sofia have already gained a lot of knowledge from the book. And since the book even contained all the basics, Sofia had not trouble understanding them as she didn't have to read another book for basics. Along with her, Arthur also read through all the basics since he felt that he might not be aware about a few points or topics.

By the end of the week, Arthur and Sofia could already create a simple A.I. though not at the level of Jarvis, even not close to it, the basic A.I. could already be considered quite good among the many inbuilt A.I.s available in smartphones. And it was just the beginning as it has only been more than eight days since Arthur has obtained the book from daily login.

Speaking of daily logins, for eight consecutive days, Arthur was rewarded with money, just money and nothing else. For every reward after book about A.I.s, Arthur had got $100,000,000 daily. He didn't even knew if he should be happy about becoming rich or sad about becoming simply rich and not powerful. Arthur had a hunch that his beginner's luck which was supporting him seems to have exhausted itself. So for now, he could only wait for his luck to be refilled so that he could obtain something really useful.

Currently, in Arthur's room, Sofia was seating on his bed and reading a book about biology. Since Arthur knew that she was quite a terrifying genius when it comes to understanding any topic, why not make use of it to make her a Cosmic grade researcher. After all, with her talent, it wouldn't be difficult for her to recreate something as simple as a super serum, hell, she might even just make an enhanced version of it. Then he could give it to his loyal subordinates that he would have in the future. So that Arthur wouldn't have to worry about increasing the number of his shadows and could simply focus on increasing the quality of his shadows when he gets a chance in the future.

While, Sofia was doing what she was obsessed with, unaware about Arthur's schemes, Arthur himself was typing rapidly on his laptop. On the screen, various characters were being typed forming what looked like a code to an average human. Yes, and it was absolutely true. Arthur was typing a code for a basic A.I. He has been on it from the last night and was finally about to complete. After Arthur finished typing the last series of codes, he immediately ran the program which asked his permission to reboot the entire system.

Arthur clicked okay, and the entire laptop underwent a restart. After few minutes, the laptop was finally back on the desktop. But unlike before, there was a small robot icon at the bottom right corner next to the time box. Arthur clicked on the icon with anticipation. Immediately, a textbox appeared at the center of the screen showing.

"Hello User, how may I help you?" Since Arthur has not added any features related to voice, the A.I. could only interact with him through the help of the chat box. Arthur typed in - Open ###. In the next moment, the said software started running. After that, Arthur started testing some of its other features and found that they were running perfectly. There were no errors that Arthur could find except for the fact that his laptop was slowing down a bit due to the high memory requirements of the A.I.. But he knew that it could be easily solved by using a high configuration computer.

Though for advanced A.I.s he would have to buy an entire small scale server just to host the A.I. so that it could run smoothly. As for the True A.I. mentioned in the book, Arthur didn't even dare to imagine just how much memory power it would require to run effectively much less efficiently.

After testing the A.I. for some more time, Arthur shut off his laptop after deleting the A.I. code permanently. Since he already knew the entire code like the back of his hand, there was no need to continue storing the A.I. on his laptop just to make his laptop slower. As for storing it in a USB, he had none that could store such a huge amount of code data. The best one he has could only store less than 32 GBs. But just this simple A.I. program took about 100 GBs of storage capacity.

Arthur could definitely buy one with a larger storage but his parents would require the answer to the question - Why do you need it? It was always like that. Although they would happily buy whatever Arthur wanted, they still wouldn't allow him to waste money on useless things. They would only buy it if it was useful to him. Of course, the question arises only when Arthur wanted something other than study materials and things like video games, or if the item was expensive.

Thus Arthur didn't want to bother buying it since it wasn't really necessary. It was one of the traits that he learnt from his parents.

-

While Arthur was currently immersed in the satisfaction of creating an A.I. for the very first time, in the periphery of the outer space, a faithful encounter of two beings was taking place that would soon result in chaos and destruction for the New York City and humans as a whole. But for Arthur, it could turn out to been the opportunity he had been waiting for.
