Time passed by quickly after Arthur went to sleep and soon it was eight. The door of his room was pushed option by a pretty woman who looked quite similar to Arthur. His mother, Della, walked into the room and towards him and gave a pat on his back while calling out to him. "Art, it's time to wake up."
Arthur woke up as slowly as he could just to stay in the bed for a longer time. But in the end, he finally got up and went to the bathroom to complete his morning ritual. His mother went back after giving him a kiss on the cheeks and saying that the breakfast would be ready soon.
After completing his morning rituals, Arthur headed towards the dining table where his mother served him his breakfast. His father, Lucian, also greeted him before getting a seat for himself. After finishing his breakfast and washing his hands, Arthur left for school after grabbing his bag from his room and being reminded by his parents to take care as always.
Arthur took his bicycle as he did everyday since the Midtown High School wasn't that far away from his house. It would only take around twenty minutes on average. And since his bicycle was a hybrid one, he didn't any trouble cycling it everyday. And now that his physical strength has increased, it was even more less of a concern for Arthur.
In just fifteen minutes, Arthur arrived at the Midtown High School and parked his bike. He wasn't worried about anyone messing with his cycle as the previous Arthur was quite strong. Once, someone wanted to mess with his cycle seeing how expensive it was but the next day, that guy almost ended up going into hospital.
Arriving at his class, he walked in and took his seat while greeting some of the students who he had a good relationship with which included all the students. One of the specialties of the previous Arthur was that he had a good relationship with almost all the teachers and students. He was also pretty famous, in a good way, among the first year.
There was still some time before nine so the class was not completely filled as the students were still arriving. By three minutes to nine, all the students had arrived an took their seat. And surprisingly, it turned out that many notable characters like Peter Benjamin Parker, Mary Jane Watson, Michelle Jones-Watson, Gwendolyne Maxine Stacy, Felicia Sara Hardy, Jessica Campbell as well as Edward "Ned" Leeds were all in the same classroom.
But what was even more surprising was that Gwendolyne Maxine "Gwen" Stacy actually seats beside him on the right and on the left was an empty seat next to which was Jessica. As Gwen arrived at her seat, she waved at Arthur and greeted with a smile. "Morning, Art."
Arthur replied with a greeting and a smile. "Good morning, Gwen." In the entire school, only Gwen knew about his nickname. She learnt about him when she arrived at his home for notes as she was absent from school due to illness. Arthur's mother called him with his nickname as usual and Gwen heard that. From that day onwards, she would usually call him by his nickname.
As for why she didn't go to Peter for notes even though they were childhood friends? It was simply because Peter was simping after Mary Jane and Gwen didn't want to fall between them. So she asked Arthur as he was also her bench mate in a sense. And also because Arthur was quite good at all the subjects.
Time flew by quickly and soon it was lunch break. During the lectures, Arthur was really bored as he could easily remember and understand all the topics by reading the books a few times. So he found the lectures even more boring. Arthur also didn't have anyone to talk to as his left side was empty and Gwen was to focused on the lecture to talk to him.
During to lunch break, Arthur sat with some of the boys of his class including Ned but excluding Peter. The latter was sitting with Mary Jane and the former didn't want to be a third wheel. As for Gwen, she was with her own small girl's group consisting of Gwen, herself, Felicia, Jessica, Betty, who would become Ned's future girlfriend and surprisingly Michelle Jones.
If Arthur's memories served right, it was Felicia who initiated the group which was not a surprise as she had a thing for the same sex because she was repulsive towards men due to her past. Arthur didn't mind it as Felicia could also act as a good bodyguard when they went out for fun. After all, she was the Black Cat.
After lunch, the students once again went back to their classes. Once Arthur sat down, he found Gwen staring at him with confusion and uncertainty. Arthur looked at her and raised his brows as a way to say - What?
Gwen didn't reply immediately but continued to stare at him. After some time, she finally said. "I didn't notice it earlier because you were seated, but in the lunch break you clearly looked more tall. And also..." Gwen hesitated slightly but still continued her sentence. "... more handsome."
Arthur was inwardly amazed that she noticed the change in him even though she was not the kind of girl who would pay any attention at a boy unless required. But outwardly, he smirked at Gwen and tried to tease her. "So you think I look handsome. But I didn't knew that The Gwendolyne Stacy would pay so much attention to an average boy like me."
Gwen blushed slightly at his teasing and immediately retorted back. "No, it was Felicia who noticed it. And she also has a crush on you." Gwen immediately pushed everything on Felicia who was annoying her for many days. Felicia wanted her to become her girlfriend but Gwen didn't have a thing for girls, so Gwen was constantly pestered by her. Hence, pushing everything on Felicia was her form of revenge.
Of course, if it were any other boy they would have believed her and might even have went straight to Felicia to ask her out. But since Arthur knew about her, he wouldn't believe Gwen's nonsense. So he simply replied back with an "Oh."
Gwen, who thought that Arthur had believed her, sighed in relief. In fact, if Arthur asked Felicia out on a date, she along with the remaining members of their group would fully support him. In truth, Gwen didn't simply want to annoy Felicia, she also wanted that Felicia could get rid of her repulsion towards men. And since Arthur had a good reputation, he would definitely be helpful.
She also wasn't worried that there would be something between the two as she had full idea of how much hate Felicia had for men.
While Gwen was lost in her thoughts of helping her good friend, Arthur decided to focus on the lecture. But after five minutes, he almost fell asleep. Even if his physique didn't require a single minute of sleep for many days, the lecture was just too potent. Hell, Arthur wouldn't be surprised if lectures were used as sleeping pills on some planet in this entire universe.
Time passed by quickly and soon it was the end of school, for today.
After arriving at his home, Arthur went to his room and locked the door. He first decided to finish all his school work that was remaining while Sofia used his books to learn more about human biology. The day ended quickly as the two were immersed in their work. After dinner, Arthur waited in his room for some time. Once his parents fell asleep, Arthur left for the abandoned building.
But this time he took multiple books with him that he stored in his shadow space. They would be useful for Sofia who would be bored.
After arriving at the same abandoned building, Sofia separated from him and took her human form. White tentacles emerged from her body and formed a separate chair and table. She took a seat on the chair while Arthur placed all the books on the table. Then, Sofia began reading all the books one by one.
Meanwhile Arthur used his telekinesis to recreate the huge iron sphere. Once the iron sphere was formed, Arthur activated the Semi-Symbiote Form. Sofia always left a part of her inside him so that he could always use it in emergence especially when he could not yet control his powers.
Also, Sofia could separate her body into many parts and take different forms but only a one part of her could take a human form. At least that was what Arthur noticed so far.
After activating the Semi-Symbiote Form, Arthur released the iron sphere from his telekinesis and held it in his hands. Surprisingly this time, there were no cracks on the ground. The one thing that Arthur realised about the Semi-Symbiote Form was that though it did not increase his physical attributes, it instead helps him to control his physical powers completely which was the thing that Arthur required urgently.
Then, Arthur started testing his other physical attributes and quickly came with a result.
