The Avengers (2)

[S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier]

We see guards walking beside a captive Loki as they walked inside a hallway. They pass by Bruce inside the lab trying to find the Tesseract as Loki and Bruce met eye to eye. Loki smirked as Bruce look concerned on what he was thinking.

Hyperion was behind in his casual clothing with the scepter that Loki used in hand. He arrived at the lab and was about to put the scepter on the table but he then got a vision. A vision where a purple man wearing a golden gauntlet was fighting him and on the gauntlet is the gem that was in the scepter and Tesseract.

Bruce: "Marc, you okay big guy?"

Hyperion was then cut off from his vision as he turned to Bruce and put the scepter down.

Hyperion: "Yeah. I'm alright. Fury wanted us on the bridge, we better head over there."

The doctor nodded as he and Hyperion walked towards the bridge where the others are waiting for them including Thor. Loki is now free from the cuffs on his arm but he is inside a glass container as Fury was outside beside a control panel.

Fury: "In case it's unclear. You try to escape, if so much scratch the glass."

He then pressed a button where the hatch under the container opened. He then pressed it again as it closes.

Fury: "Thirty Thousand feet, straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?!"

He then points to Loki in a mocking manner.

Fury: "Ant."

Then points at the button.

Fury: "Boot."

Loki: *smirk* "It's an impressive cage. Not built, I think, for me."

Fury: "Built for something a lot stronger than you."

Loki: "Yes I've heard."

He then turned towards the camera as everyone on the bridge was watching and listening to the two talking.

Loki: "A mindless beast, makes play he's still a man. And for Uncle, you need more than this to hold him back. How desperate are you, that you call upon such lost creatures to defend you?"

Fury: "How desperate am I? You threaten my with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace and you kill cause it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did."

Loki: "Ooh. It burns you to come so close. To have the Tesseract, to have power, unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all mankind to share, and then to be reminded what real power is."

Fury: "Well you let me know if Real Power wants a magazine or something."

He walks away as Loki took a seat and smirked at the camera. Steve watches until the monitor turns black as everyone watched in silence.

Bruce: "He really grows on you, doesn't he?"

Steve: "Loki's gonna drag this out, Thor, what's his play?"

Thor: "He has an army called the Chitauri. There not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the Earth. In return, suspect, for the Tesseract."

Steve: "An army? From outer space?"

Hyperion: "Not just an army, they are one of the deadliest race out there."

Steve: "I reckon you have encountered some of them Marc."

Hyperion: "When was out to explore space, I encountered a whole ship full of them. took care of them, ripped their ship to pieces."

Natasha: "Well that's good to hear."

Bruce: "So he's building another portal. That's what he needed Erik Selvig for."

Thor: "Selvig?"

Bruce: "He's an astrophysicist."

Thor: "He's a friend."

Natasha: "Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours."

Hyperion: "It's the scepter."

They all turned towards the Eternal as he crossed his arms.

Hyperion: "He is using the scepter to enslave those that have a heart. I think it's the gem attached to it."

Bruce: "Well this is getting more annoying by the second and I don't like it."

Steve: "I wanna know why Loki let us take him. He's not Leading an army from here."

Hyperion: "Steve has a point and knowing your people Thor, no offense but you guys are pretty stubborn."

Thor: "None taken."

Bruce: "I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you could smell crazy on him."

Thor: "Have care about how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard and he is my brother."

Natasha: "He killed eighty people in two days."

Thor: "He's adopted."

Bruce: "Iridium. What did they need the iridium for?"

Tony: "It's a stabilizing agent."

Tony then entered the bridge with Coulson right beside him. He then turns to Coulson and : "I'll fly you there, keep the love alive."

He then turned towards the others and continued.

Tony: "Means the portal won't collapse on itself. Like it did on SHIELD."

He walked passed Thor and tapped his shoulder.

Tony: "No hard feelings Point Break, You've got a mean swing. Also it means the portal can open as wide and stay open as long as Loki wants."

He then looks around then covered one of his eyes as he turned to Hill.

Tony: "How does Fury do this?"

Hill: "He turns."

Tony: "Well that sounds exhausting. The rest of the raw materials Agent Barton can get his hands pretty easily. Only major components he still is a power source. A high energy density, something that can kickstart the cube."

Hill: "When did you become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics?"

Tony: "Last night. The packet. Selvig's notes, Extraction Theory papers. Am the only one who did the reading?"

Steve: "Does Loki need any particular kind of power source?"

Hyperion: "He needs to heat the cube to a hundred and twenty million Kelvin just to break through the Coulomb Barrier."

Tony: "Unless Selvig has figured out how to stabilize the Quantum tunneling effect."

Bruce: "Well if he could do that, he could achieve Heavy lon Fusion."

Hyperion: "At any reactor on the planet."

Tony: "Finally, some people who speak English."

Steve: "Is that what just happened? And how do you know all this Marc?"

Hyperion: "I picked a thing or two when I was exploring the world Steve."

Tony: "It's good to meet you Doctor Banner. Your work on anti-electrons collisions is unparalleled. And I'm a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage monster."

Bruce: "Thanks."

Fury: "Dr. Banner is only here to track the cube. I was hoping you might join him."

Steve: "Let's start with the stick of his. It may be magical but it works an awful lot like a HYDRA weapon."

Hyperion: "The scepter is powered by the Gem attached to it and to tell you the truth I'm not entirely sure if what my speculation is true that's why I'm talking to someone who might know of this."

Fury: "I don't know about that, but is is powered by the cube. And would like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I know into his personal flying monkeys."

Thor: "Monkeys? I do not understand."

Steve: "I do! I understand that reference."

Tony: "Shall we play doctor?"

Bruce: "Let's play some. You coming big guy?"

Hyperion: "I'll catch up. I have some places to go to find some answers for my questions."

The two Science Bros walked out of the bridge and towards the lab. As Hyperion also walked out and is now outside with Fury following.

Fury: "You know something, do you?"

Hyperion: "Yes and know where to find the answers. I'm going to talk to someone even older than me and witnessed something that she might now off."

Fury: "Well I hope you get some answers to this threat we are facing and get back immediately."

Hyperion: "If what I saw in my visions are true then we might need more than answers to stop it."

And with that, Hyperion floated up before flying towards a direction with a sonic boom as Fury covered himself from the wind. Hyperion knew where to go to get his answers. He flew towards South Dakota to talk to Ajak about the stones he saw in his vision. The visions that came back after many centuries. He landed on Ajak's front yard and saw the Prime Eternal sitting on a chair and stood upod seeing him.

Ajak: "Hyperion? Why the sudden visit?"

Hyperion: "We need to talk."

Ajak: "Come inside."

The two Eternals walked inside as Hyperion sat in the living room with Ajak as she gave him a drink.

Hyperion: "Thank you Ajak."

The mother figure of the Eternals just smiled. She then sat down across from Hyperion.

Ajak: "So what do you want to talk about?"

Hyperion: *sigh* "The visions, they came back."

Ajak: "I thought they're gone centuries ago. When you learned of the truth."

Yes, Hyperion learned of the truth of what they are and their purpose. He was distraught of the truth but that didn't stop him from doing what he was made to do. The protect the people of this planet. Only the three of them knew of the truth and the other one is Ikaris.

Hyperion: "Thank you Ajak. I needed that."

Ajak approached the large Eternal and gave him a motherly hug.

Ajak: "We are family and I'm your mother. I will always be there to guide all of you. There's also something need to tell you."

Hyperion: "What is it?"

Ajak: "Arishem contacted me...told me he would be sending two other Eternals to Earth."

Hyperion suddenly became serious. This means something isn't right.

Hyperion: "Why would he sent more? We already killed all the Deviants."

Ajak: "That I don't know. He just told me that and then he cut off our connection."

Hyperion was about to ask but his super hearing caught something. An explosion and it's on the Helicarrier. He stood up making Ajak look at him confused.

Ajak: "What is it?"

Hyperion: "Something happened back on the Helicarrier and it's bad."

Ajak: "Go. They need you."

Hyperion nodded as he ran outside as his Cosmic suit started to materialize around his body. He bent down and launched himself in the air leaving behind a destroyed ground from where he was standing.

In just a few minutes, he can already see the Helicarrier and it's not looking good. He saw one of the engines is heavily damaged and smoking. He saw Tony flying towards it as he approached the billionaire playboy.

Hyperion: "Tony, what happened?"

Tony: "It's good that you are hear old man. We've been attacked and Loki's the cause of it."

Hyperion: "Need any help?"

Tony: "I'm good here but you might want to deal with Banner. He went code green."

Hyperion: "That is not good. I'll handle it."

He flew inside the Helicarrier helping the other Agents who were injured. Men then came out and started to fire at them but just covered them and took fire making the bullets bounce off him. He then took care of them with ease until he finally heard the Hulk rampaging in the bay area.

He saw how Hulk punched Thor through a stack of multiple crates. Hulk was about to attack the other agents but Hyperion flew towards Hulk and punched him towards the wall. He then turned towards the agents and told them to go and help the others. Hyperion then turned towards the Hulk who was getting out of the wall.

Hyperion: "Bruce, control it. You need to stop."

Hulk only roared and ran towards Hyperion. Hyperion raced himself as Hulk slammed both his fists towards Hyperion who caught with his hands creating a shockwave and cracking the ground beneath Hyperion.

Hyperion: *mind* "His strength is no joke."

He pushed Hulk as the green behemoth stumbled back. Hyperion rushed towards Hulk and landed a punch. Hulk went to punch him but Hyperion dodged it with ease and landed a few more punches making the Hulk stagger back.

Hyperion: "Come on Banner, you're better than this. You need to calm down."

Hyperion kneed Hulk's abdomen as he grabbed Hulk's head and slammed his head on the ground creating a crater. He threw a punch again but Hulk caught it creating a shockwave. Hulk pulled Hyperion and landed a hard punch on Hyperion's face as he stumbled to the side. Hulk got up and did a haymaker sending the Eternal flying towards a Quinjet denting the side of the aircraft.

Hulk ran towards the Eternal and tackled him through the Quinjet splitting it in two. He then slammed the Eternal on the concrete floor and threw more punches burying Hyperion until he fired his Atomic Vision pushing the Hulk back. He got back up and flew towards the green behemoth and let out fast punches but Hulk would counter back with his. Hyperion landed an uppercut and flew towards Hulk to tackle him but Hulk stood strong and held his ground. He slammed his fists down striking Hyperion on the back as the Eternal landed on the ground breaking the concrete floor.

Hulk jumped in the air and was ready to slam down his fists on Hyperion but a hammer came flying and hit Hulk on the chest sending him towards the tail of a jet. Thor then landed beside Hyperion who is getting up.

Thor: "He is strong. Are you alright Uncle?"

Hyperion: "He is getting even stronger when he is angry. I'll hold him off, you go and check on Loki."

Thor: "You sure you don't need help Uncle."

Hyperion: "Don't worry about me young one. I can take him."

Thor: "Okay then."

He then ran towards where Loki is being held as Hulk got up from the jet and roared at Hyperion and grabbed the wing of the jet and hurled it towards Hyperion who just split it in two with his Atomic Vision.

Hyperion: "If you won't stop, fine. I haven't had a good fight since Ikaris and Gilgamesh. Let's see if you really are the strongest one there is."

Hulk ran towards Hyperion as the Eternal did the same. Once they were close, their punches made contact as a shockwave pushed some of the agents still there to witness the power of the two.

Hyperion was able to push the Hulk back but the big guy recovered quickly. Hyperion blocked a punch and delivered his own. He went to strike again but Hulk grabbed his cape and slammed him to the ground making him bounce and land on a forklift. Hulk for another assault but Hyperion fired his Atomic Vision on the Hulk's face and used the forklift to hit the Hulk multiple times. Hulk grabbed Hyperion and slammed him to the ground before throwing him on the roof as Hyperion is now in a room near the lab.

Hulk jumped up only to meet a table being smashed on him sending him towards the wall and to another room. He stood up but got hit by bullets fired by a jet outside the window. He roared and jumped out the window and landed on top of the jet. Hyperion arrived and saw what was going on.

Hyperion: "Damnit."

He flew out the window just in time for Hulk throwing the pilot out of the jet. The Eternal tackled Hulk as he flew downwards.

Hyperion: "Sorry for this Banner."

He threw Hulk away and fired his Atomic Vision hitting the green behemoth on his chest making him descend further down faster. Hyperion turned his attention to the falling pilot as he flew at super sonic speed catching him and bringing him back to the Helicarrier.

Hyperion: "You are safe now. Go and help others."

He then saw the rotors spinning again thinking that Tony fixed them with some help. He then walked inside trying to find Fury only to see him with a dying Coulson.

Coulson: "Sorry boss, they got rabbited."

Fury: "Just stay awake, EYES ON ME!"

Coulson: "It's okay boss. This was never going to work...if they did have something to..."

Coulson sighed his last breath as he finally died. Fury looked at Coulson grimly as the medical team arrived. Hyperion then put a hand on Fury's shoulder and finished what Coulson wanted to say.

Hyperion: "Something to avenge."

Fury nodded as he used his comms.

Fury: "Coulson is down. They called it."

Hyperion walked towards the railings and stared at the clouds under the whole where Loki's cell is supposed to be.
