PART 45

Time flew by, and before they knew it, eight days had passed.

On the day of the prison robbery, the sky turned from clear to gloomy, with black clouds covering the sky and a depressing atmosphere settling over everything.

It looked like it was going to rain, but the rain held off until evening.

Around eight o'clock that night, a yellow taxi pulled up near Long Island Prison.

Harleen got out, paying the driver before gracefully making her way towards the prison with a large handbag in tow.

She looked stunning tonight, with slightly curly blonde hair, delicate makeup, a light blue evening dress, white stockings, and red high heels.

The guards standing watch at the prison gate couldn't help but stare, their eyes nearly popping out of their heads.

"Dr. Harleen, you look absolutely beautiful tonight. Avril doesn't hold a candle to you," remarked Daniel, who was waiting for her with a bouquet of flowers in hand.

Daniel had worked tirelessly to win over his goddess, and it had finally paid off. She had agreed to have dinner with him.

"Avril Lavigne is my idol, but I am far worst than her," Harleen replied, taking the flowers and smelling them delicately. "Thank you, Daniel."

Daniel blushed, overcome with shyness and gratitude.

Noticing the change in weather, Daniel quickly removed his suit jacket and draped it over Harleen's shoulders. "The weather has turned cold. Be careful not to catch a cold," he said.

"Thank you. You're so thoughtful," Harleen replied gratefully.

As they walked side by side into the prison, all the guards looked on enviously.

In the elevator, Daniel tentatively asked, "Harleen, this is the first time you've agreed to have dinner with me. Why don't we skip the interview with Jason tonight?"

Harleen shook her head. "This is my job, Daniel. Don't forget, I'm the kind of strong woman who doesn't let feelings get in the way of work."

Disappointed, Daniel said, "Okay, I understand."

Harleen smiled at him, her eyes twinkling mischievously. "But for you, I'll wrap up the interview early."

Daniel's face lit up, a smile spreading across his face. "Then go do what you need to do, and I'll get dinner ready for you."

Harleen nodded, smiling back at him before heading towards the interrogation room.

As usual, she used a laser tester to check every corner of the room.

Approaching Jason from behind, she whispered, "It's eight o'clock. We still have two hours until the plan starts."

With that, she placed three small keys in Jason's hand.

While Stan and Franklin had been busy preparing the plan, Harleen had been hard at work too.

After taking pictures of the handcuffs and conducting many experiments, she had finally obtained keys to the handcuffs at the wrists, ankles, and neck.

Jason held the keys tightly, his excitement almost too much to bear.

"The plan is this: I'm going to have dinner with that old pervert Daniel. I'll get him drunk, then have him take me to the prison's control room."

"Based on my psychological evaluation of him, he's an arrogant and prideful person who won't refuse. When the time comes, I'll use the opportunity to steal his pistol, kill the guard, take over the control room, and release the prisoners."

Jason narrowed his eyes and analyzed Harleen's plans, and soon discovered a loophole.

There are dozens of prison guards in the monitoring room. Even if Harleen stole the pistol and fired first, it was impossible to kill all the guards with her shooting skills.

After killing two or three people at most, she would be shot to death by the remaining prison guards.

Harleen seemed to understand the flaws in the plan, and she said earnestly, "I'll release all the prisoners as quickly as possible, and those prisoners will definitely resist in order to survive."

"As long as these brutal and tyrannical prisoners fight with the prison guards, the escape plan will be successful. As for my life and death, it won't have any impact on the plan."

Jason lifted his gaze and gazed deeply into Harleen's eyes. "Would you be willing to die for me?" he asked.

A smile spread across Harleen's face, tinged with a hint of madness. "I would," she replied.

Jason then asked, "And would you be willing to live for me?"

Without hesitation, Harleen nodded with utmost sincerity. "No matter what hardships or joyous moments may come, I will fulfill all your desires as my lifelong dream," she said.

As he heard her words of utmost devotion, Jason felt a warm sense of affection wash over him.

"You will not die until my vision is realized," Jason soothed, his lips curling up into a smile. "Did you bring what we had discussed?"

Harleen nodded, opening the large handbag draped across her shoulders and stuffing it full of green bills.

"As per our agreement, I withdrew all my savings and sold all my valuable possessions. The total comes to over $270,000," she reported.

In Harleen's mind, Jason had asked her to take the money and run away.

"Excellent," Jason praised, taking the handbag from her grasp.

Although Harleen couldn't quite grasp his intentions, she dutifully placed the handbag in his hands.

In the blink of an eye, all the cash within the handbag vanished into thin air.

[Ding! The points are recharged successfully, the remaining points: 70 points]

"I don't believe it!" exclaimed Harleen, tossing her handbag aside and covering her mouth in shock.

"Jason, are you a mutant?" she asked.

"You're not very good at reading people, are you?" he replied, before turning on the system to purchase skills for Harleen.

With a 50% discount for buying skills for a fellow party member, he was able to buy [Firearm Proficiency Level 4] and [Firearm Proficiency Level 5], giving them both to Harleen for 45 points. He had 25 points left, so he decided to buy [Cold Weapon Proficiency Level 2] and [Cold Weapon Proficiency Level 3] as gifts for her.

The system confirmed the skill gifting was successful, and Jason's points were now depleted.

Sweetheart, how could I have guessed that? I...oh!"

Suddenly, a flood of memories rushed into Harleen's mind, causing her to cry out in pain and clutch her head.

Luckily, the interrogation room was soundproof, or else the flower guardian would have broken down the door.

The memory implantation process was short, lasting only a few seconds. The pain subsided, and Harleen returned to her senses.

She extended her hands and flexed her ten fingers, feeling a sensation that was both familiar and unfamiliar. Her eyes were filled with shock and ecstasy.

When she looked at Jason again, her gaze was much more complex. She couldn't quite understand this man.

Harleen said"Sweetheart, you have too many secrets,"

Jason said with a smile. "It will take time for us to explore the depths of our souls and reveal all our secrets," Jason said with a soft smile. "But with each passing day, we will uncover more of each other's mysteries, and our love will only grow stronger."

Harleen's heart fluttered as she gazed into Jason's eyes. She had never met anyone like him before, someone so enigmatic and fascinating.

"I can't wait to discover all your secrets, Jason," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "And to share all of mine with you

As he opened the door of the interrogation room, Daniel, who had already prepared dinner, approached them.

"Harleen, let's go. Try the feast I've prepared for you. I hope you like it."

As the couple stepped out of the prison section, a guard approached them in a hushed tone and shared some information.

Furrowing his brow, Daniel pondered for a moment before gesturing for the guard to let the person in. He added, "Make sure to station someone outside for security."

Intrigued, Harlin inquired, "Who's coming?"

Daniel replied, "An old buddy of Jason's!"
