Chapter 56: Who Created Ultron?

The arrow Clint Barton used had suction cups and was completely ineffective against people. It was obviously developed specifically for this situation.

Clint Barton said he wouldn't fall for the same trick twice, and it turns out he was right. After being mind-controlled by Loki once, he managed to avoid falling under mind control again.

But this second mind control wasn't external; it was through Scarlet Witch's own magic. In terms of mind control, Scarlet Witch should be stronger than Loki.

Iron Man, Captain America, they all have their unique skills. Even Thor, the god, fell victim to mind control.

Compared to these people, Clint Barton is so ordinary, yet he was the only one who didn't get mind-controlled.

Unfortunately, Clint Barton didn't manage to capture Scarlet Witch.

Quicksilver appeared and easily took Scarlet Witch away.

There was no way to catch up with Quicksilver; he was just too fast.

"That's right, you better run," Clint Barton lying on the ground glanced in the direction where Quicksilver disappeared and said.

Everyone thought the video would end here, but surprisingly, it didn't.

Black Widow Natasha Romanoff appeared in the video. She walked leisurely in a large house, descending the stairs step by step. There were many girls in training outfits practicing dance in the room.

"Again," a middle-aged man with long hair spoke expressionlessly.

"You will ruin them," Natasha Romanoff said.

"Only the weak can be destroyed," a middle-aged woman said, "and you are made of marble. We'll celebrate after the graduation ceremony."

"What if I fail?"

"You will never fail."

During this conversation, several flashbacks appeared in the video, showing Natasha Romanoff lying on an operating table and her training in shooting. The clothes she wore in different flashbacks indicated different ages.

"The Red House..." Clint Barton muttered these three words. He recognized the place in the video. He and Natasha Romanoff destroyed it together.

"The Red House?" Tony Stark asked, "Where is that?"

"It's the place Romanoff least wants to remember," Clint Barton said.

At this point in the video, the focus shifted to Captain America, Steve Rogers, instead of Natasha Romanoff. Like Thor, he seemed to be at a party, with the vintage music and attire contrasting with the modern era.

The party was chaotic, with people drinking, reveling, and fighting. Captain America walked around with a bewildered expression, not knowing why he was there or what he was supposed to do.

"Ready to dance together?" Suddenly, a woman in a blue dress invited Captain America to dance.

"Peggy Carter!" Except for Thor, everyone in the room recognized the woman who invited Captain America to dance. It was Peggy Carter, Captain America's beloved.

"The war is over, Steve. We can go home," Peggy Carter said to Captain America. "Imagine it."

As Captain America turned around, the entire party was empty, leaving only him standing alone, isolated.

The scene changed once again, this time focusing on Thor.

He, like Captain America, wandered around lost at the party.

"Is that him? Odin's firstborn?" a voice came, and a person with only the whites of their eyes stood up.

"Heimdall, your eyes..." Thor looked at Heimdall's eyes and said.

"My eyes can see everything," Heimdall said, holding Thor's head in his hands. "I see you leading us into hell."

"I can still save you all," Thor said.

"We're all dead," Heimdall said, squeezing Thor's neck. "Can't you see?"

Thor pushed Heimdall away.

"You're just a destroyer, Odin's son," Heimdall looked at Thor with his pale eyes.

Lightning sparked from Thor, instantly turning a person at the party to ashes.

The scene shifted again, focusing on Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

"What did he do to you?" Quicksilver asked with concern.

"My head hurts," Scarlet Witch said in pain.

"I'm going to kill him," Quicksilver said angrily. "I'll be right back!"

"I'm fine. I have to complete this plan," Scarlet Witch turned her head, and in the distance, Bruce Banner's figure appeared. "I want that big guy."

The screen went black, and the video disappeared.

Although the video didn't reveal the outcome for Bruce Banner, it was easy to imagine that he was also affected.

From the beginning with Iron Man Tony Stark to the end with Bruce Banner, Scarlet Witch single-handedly challenged almost the entire Avengers team, except for Clint Barton. Everyone else fell victim to her.

And the speed displayed by Quicksilver was unmatched by anyone in the Avengers.

If it weren't for the fact that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch seemed inexperienced in battle and didn't understand fighting well, it could be said that these two alone could dismantle the Avengers.

Not to mention there was also a seemingly extraordinary robot.

During this Ultron era, although there were no alien armies or any other large forces, everyone could feel that this battle would be extremely difficult.

"Dr. Banner is indeed a major weakness of the Avengers," Phil Coulson spoke first after a while. "When Loki invaded, he targeted Dr. Banner, and now this witch chose Banner as well."

"Scarlet Witch said, 'I have to complete this plan.' It's clear that her initial target was not us, but Dr. Banner," Clint Barton said.

"I will try to replicate this bottle of mental cola," Tony Stark said.

"Stark, don't force it. If replication fails, give it to Dr. Banner. He needs it the most," Clint Barton said.

"This question reveals quite a bit about the future, and there's even a robot," Phil Coulson asked Tony Stark, "Can you create that kind of robot?"

"I can't," Tony Stark said. "I'm far from achieving that level of artificial intelligence."

"Isn't JARVIS an artificial intelligence?"

"Everything JARVIS does is based on my instructions. It doesn't have self-action capabilities, it doesn't think on its own," Tony Stark said. "But the robot in the video clearly has self-awareness, which is beyond my abilities."

"So, who can create that kind of robot?" Phil Coulson had a clear train of thought. "We can find its creator now and prevent it from ever being created."
