Kar-el flew right in half a second and closed the gap with the ultimate Umagasaur, who could not even follow his movements or even think to counterattack. He flew back with recoil after receiving a measured punch from Kar-el.
Kar-el glanced around him and narrowed his eyes at the floating disks that were creating sound at extreme frequencies and casually raised his hand and folded it as if he was crushing something in his fist.
The 100-meter radius circle with him as its center experienced an astronomical increase in gravity. All the disks were crushed, including the whole terrain in the circle.
The only one that remained unharmed except for Kar-el was Ben, who was right now a Kryptonian. Even Bigchill, who could turn intangible, had to escape as gravity affected him too.
Kar-el then looked upwards as the ultimate Waybig finally decided to join the fight and raised his leg. He then tried to crush both Ben and Kar-el using his leg.
"Oh no!" Ben had just stood up on his legs when this happened, while Kar-el was glancing around at the newcomers. The leg slammed down on them both, and everyone on the battlefield was holding their breath.
A few moments later, Waybig showed discomfort before his leg started to shake.
"For someone this big, you are quite light." Waybig was forced to raise his leg again as Kar-el lifted him while flying higher.
Kar-el did not give him any other opportunity and flew close to his body before he reached for his shoulders, and then he punched his face only once, but it was more than enough to bring the biggest alien in Ben's arsenal into the land of dreams.
...
"Still want to take care of things all by yourself?" Hex teased Darkstar before turning toward his niece.
"Look at him. He is not even trying yet. We cannot afford to make someone like him our enemy. Please come to your senses, dear." He advised in a begging tone.
"It saddens me to say this, but in this instance, I have to agree with the skull head." Darkstar gave his opinion.
Charmcaster chose to remain silent and just stared at the monster that was demolishing some of the most powerful transformations that Ben had ever undergone until now.
.....
"I must say I did not expect this when I received your message, time traveler." Kevin flinched when Azmuth suddenly appeared on his shoulder.
"Azmuth!" Gwen sighed in relief.
"What do you mean?" The professor teasingly asked him.
"You only said I have to deal with ultimate transformations of the current roaster of aliens available to Ben. You did not mention the presence of an omega grade triple S alien species." Azmuth sighed.
"You guys have an entire classification made to categorize aliens?" Kevin expected them to use an already defined classification as he does. When he used to work alone in the criminal market, it was quite important to know how powerful his enemy was.
"Of course we have. The usual classification was useless when we took into account aliens like celestial sapiens and beyond." Azmuth shrugged.
"Are you saying that there are more powerful aliens than celestial sapiens?" Gwen asked, surprised by the news since she could not imagine what it meant to be that powerful.
"Yes, and not just that, but they are present in the Omnitrix records." Azmuth jumped down from the shoulders while saying that.
...…
Meanwhile, after seeing the fall of the Ultimate Waybig, other rogue aliens become disappointed and choose not to continue their assault. Kar-el did not attack them once they admitted the difference in strength between them and rather floated beside Ben.
"How are you feeling now?" Kar-el was very impressed by him since it takes a lot of effort and talent just to not destroy everything around you as a Kryptonian under the energy of a yellow star.
"Just hanging on to my sanity," Ben replied with a grim face, as he was still getting used to controlling his body and the amount of strength he wanted to apply.
"Want me to help you with it?" Kar-el offered.
"How?" Ben quickly asked.
"Everything is much easier to learn practically. You will find it much easier to learn to control your body if you utilize your body to its fullest extent. Since you are done with the warm-up, we can spar now. It has been almost forever since I had a capable sparring partner after my cousin stopped sparring with me."
One of the reasons why Kar-el allowed Ben to scan him was because he wanted to try out his new limits and experiment with them before he returns to face Entropy. As they are talking, Kar-el is healing his body from the injuries he took from Entropy after being caught off guard.
"No thanks. I think I have taken enough beatings for today." Ben was quick to disagree after seeing the whole fight play out in front of him. He quickly returned to being human while he was at it.
"Maybe tomorrow then." Kar-el decided and focused on the rest of the group that approached them.
"I am impressed. For you to teleport into a dimension created and controlled by me without my permission." Azmuth accepted the praise with a nod.
"It was not that hard since I knew the origin point that separated this dimension from the original point." Azmuth just followed the coordinates from where the message came and then did a scan for any anomalies once he did not find Ben and others at the origin point.
Azmuth then turned to look at the rogue transformations who were silently watching their exchange.
"I think you guys should be open to diplomacy, so shall we discuss what the problem here is?" he asked while approaching them. The aliens glanced at each other before Ultimate Swarmfire took the lead in the absence of Ultimate Umangasaur, who was unconscious.
"We would like to have our freedom. Until now, we had been trapped in that watch under the control of that human, but somehow today we were able to escape from our prison. Now we do not wish to go back there." He explained it with conviction.
"Let's see." Azmuth rubbed his beard while narrowing his eyes. He then took out a device as big as his entire stature and pointed it at the aliens. It was a scanner of some kind. It scanned them and showed the results that Azmuth studied for half a minute.
"I do not know the root cause yet, but the ultimatrix indeed has a glitch that somehow gave life to all the ultimate transformations that Ben has ever taken. It will take some time to fix that, but I guess I can do something about you right now." Azmuth instructed Ben not to use ultimate transformations until he resolved the issue.
"So you want freedom?" Azmuth asked them all, to which they all nodded.
"You have to understand that giving you complete freedom is impossible for even me since you are too dangerous to roam freely in the universe, but I can provide you with a home planet on which you can live as you like. I might have some tasks for you, but you will have complete freedom to decide whether you want to do that or not." Azmuth then walked away from them to give them some time to discuss it among themselves.
"Now that this issue is almost resolved, let us discuss what to do with the new transformations that you have unlocked." Azmuth started a new conversation once he reached Ben.
"If what the professor said is true, then it is best to lock this transformation as we did with alien X." Gwen gave her opinion and Kevin agreed.
Ben chose to remain silent at first but then glanced at Kar-el, who was standing a few meters away from them with the professor.
"Maybe we should ask his opinion too." He decided, others also had no issue with that, so they approached them.
"I have decided to stay for a few days in this plane of existence." Kar-el and Paradox were discussing some things when they approached them.
Kar-el did not turn to look at Ben and said, "If you want my opinion, I would suggest you keep it. While it is true that my race has limitless potential, unlocking that potential is no easy task."
"Given how much I have understood of your watch, it only allows you to access a transformation for a limited timeframe under normal circumstances, and as soon as you turn human, it brings back that transformation to its default form." Ben nodded.
"Kryptonians grow powerful proportionate to the amount of time they stay in the presence of a yellow star or a blue star, but not every Kryptonian is as powerful as me. The genesis codex inside me allows me to access all the genetic potential our race had in them, but it is not true for others."
"It is a game of luck on how many active genes they inherit. Your transformation is an average Kryptonian, even though it is the healthiest form genetically possible. In the timeframe available to you by your watch, you will not absorb enough stellar energy to do more than lift a metropolitan city or two."
"It might be your most powerful transformation in terms of physical powers, but not at all something truly absurd. And since it will go back to default once you turn human, you do not have to worry about getting too strong." Kar-el assured him.
"But do not get too confident. I might be invincible to almost everything material and immaterial, but you are not. We have quite a few weaknesses if we have not bathed in stellar energy enough, including but not limited to magic, time domain, and psychic attacks."
...….
Kar-el needed to rest for a few days to recover and prepare to face entropy once again, and paradox suggested that he could stay at the Plumbers' headquarters or Ben and the group's base of operations. Ben agreed to the idea, and they decided to drop Julie off at her home before moving to the base.
Meanwhile, Azmuth teleported with the ultimate aliens to the planet that he told them about and promised to come back and fix the ultimatrix once he dealt with them.
...…
Ben and Paradox were in his car, and Kar-el was with Gwen and Kevin. They just dropped Julie and drove to the base.
"Want some nachos?" Kevin offered to Kar-el, who was glancing outside the car.
"Gladly", Kar-el took a few before putting them in his mouth.
"They look quite happy and unaware," Kar-el commented as he watched people enjoying their lives without much care.
"Yeah, while it is almost impossible to hide the existence of the aliens among us with the rapid increase in technology, for now, things are quiet and peaceful, but we do not know for how long it will remain so," Gwen replied.
To be honest, it feels like the calm before the storm," Kevin grimly added.
"No matter the species, interstellar awareness is always a chaotic phase. At times like these, a powerful ruling force is the best possible scenario," Kar-el advised.
"You mean dictatorship?" Gwen asked.
Kar-el shook his head," No, dictatorship brings corruption at an astronomical level, and that is never good. You need a unified government instead. At this time, having multiple governments only increases the chances of conflict among yourselves, which is not good when you will be entering the galactic picture."
