Chapter 5 da room
Arriving at my room I'm kinda surprised that's it's not a sheared room between students but beast did say that there weren't many so I guess it makes sense. Looking at my room has nice dark wood flooring a simple double bed with colourless sheets and pillows and a desk and drawers.
sitting on my bed I decided to do something i probably should have done with Hank's help but oh well. Pulling up video I focus on the deepest parts of the power trying to figure out the game it is modelled after.
when I find it I almost straight up die from laughter 'theres are fucking 3 of them' and there was the power had split its self into 3 each symbolising ether my morality, personality or ideology.
concentrating on ideology I find a symbol of 3 triangles 'legend of Zelda' "power without wisdom is directionless, wisdom without courage is useless, courage without power is reckless". Moving to personality I find a massive pair of blue and red wings 'devil may cry' "let's rock". And lastly morality I find a dragon shaped as a diamond 'Skyrim' "Dovahkiin Dragonborn".
"Ok I get dmc and legend of Zelda but why Skyrim" I ask not expecting a reply.
"because it was the game where you finally tried being evil… and learned you really suck at it so you'll just be good" ok disembodied voice well fuck you to
looking around for the source of the voice I find a small post it note that said 'your very welcome 'Alex' love Rebecca'
"oh cool your watching me that's good to know" looking at the note it starts to change instead saying 'no I'm not ;)'
"k gonna ignore that" as I turn away I very much don't see a little :( on the paper.
deciding I wanted to get out and do some thing I drop video and change to absorb. Leaving my room and walking to the cafeteria I find a bunch of kids dicking around and eating
walking over and getting myself a plate of food I move to one of the empty tables and sit by myself 'ah like good old times'
as I was eating suddenly I had a face full of small brunette. "AH fuck, you scared the shit outa me" looking at the person infront of me I can guess this is probably Kitty Pryde.
"ah my bad anyway my names Kitty Pryde and this is Kurt Wagner"she says yanking very blue boy by the neck to sit with her across from me " what's your name" oh nightcrawler and shadowcat
"Sup names Alex Mercer" I didn't really have anything cool to call myself so no titles yet
"vell it's nice to meet you Alex" wow I have no idea what accent that is "if it's not to much trouble ve vould like to sit here vith you"
"yeah sure it's a free country sit wherever you want" after they sat I questioned Kitty "so Kitty what can you tell me about this place I don't actually know all that much about it"
she perks up "yeah sure this is Xavier's school for gifted youngsters if you didn't know the school was made to help and guide young mutants like you me and Kurt, it's been around for a while and is the home base of the X-men. The current student body has a few really powerful mutants this year"
she points over at a table near the centre of the cafeteria "they mainly hag over there. The red headed one is Jean Grey a powerful telepath and telekinetic, the one with red glasses is Scott Summers he can shoot beams of pure kinetic energy from his eyes but can't control it so they are always on, the glasses stop them. Next is Illyana Rasputin she controls things called stepping discs that open to almost anywhere and is a powerful sorcerer even being the sorcerer supreme of the dimension limbo. And last but not least are the Maximoff twins Wanda and Pietro, the latter has hyper speed and the former has something the adults say is chaos magic but it's just a bunch of different powers if you ask me"
wow that is a fucking bomb waiting to go off " what about you two what are your powers" she points to herself
"I have the ability to phase through anything and can bring anything I'm touching" she points to Kurt "he has the ability to teleport anywhere"
"damn that sounds awesome" Kurt suddenly spoke up "vhat about you Alex" time to show off again
Just as I was about to start showing off the bell rang signifying that lunch was over "damn well I'll tell you next time I see you guys" giving them a wave I walked off intending to go see professor X
after a while I arrived at the office and knocked on the door. Upon here a "come in" I walked inside and started talking "excuse me professor I don't think I was ever told what to do after the checkup from Dr McCoy"
"ah yes Mr Mercer I have just finished you schedule here you go" he hands me a piece of paper and speaks again "Hank mentioned that you were looking forward to using you abilities luckily Logan is free to give you a hand with that, he will be outside near the courtyard. Do have fun" after finishing his sentence he smiled.
"ok thanks professor i'll go there now. Have a good day" with that done I headed to my room, dropped of my schedule and headed for the courtyard.
