Chapter 3 THE X-MEN

"Well it's best if we are off to professor Xavier's office so you can be enrolled as soon as possible" yeah I wanna meet more x-men 

"good bye to you two you may go back to what you were doing before young Alex arrived, what ever that may be" looking over at the two I saw the boy walk over the the girl and as we were walking away I could hear him whisper to her 

"yo what do you think his other powers are" wow he is bad at whispering cuz I can hear him from like 4 metres away 

"now do you have some identification on you Alex because that will help the process of enrolment massively" checking in my pockets I pull out a cheap wallet that contains all my worldly possessions except the cloths on my back. I open it up to see all the necessary identification and a couple hundred bucks

"yeah I do, uh by the way I never got you name Mr" I already know it but he hasn't told me it yet 

"ah where are my manners my name is Dr Henry McCoy but my friends call me Hank" god he's just so god damn cool

"so who else works here other than you and Xavier Dr McCoy" I say to make small talk with the man 

"ah a good question Alex at this school we have a small staff only consisting of 5 members because we don't get many students" ah so I'm somewhere and/or somewhen with a low mutant count good to know 

"I teach math and science as well as PE, Logan also know as wolverine teaches history as he lived a good portion of it, Ororo also know as storm teaches environmental and political sciences, Xavier teaches English and other languages student wish to learn, Emma frost teaches ethics and some other classes can be taken over at the moment they are needed by others" ok so I'm gonna be honest I wasn't paying too much attention but did this motherfucker just say Emma teaches fucking ethics

"oh that's cool what about power control and combat" I really wanted to learn to use my powers so much

"well it depends on the student some don't wish to use their powers and some don't want to fight but do want to use their powers so it's mainly a case by case thing" yeah I guess not everyone would want to fight and some may hate their powers for whatever reason 

as the conversation continued in a similar fashion we started getting near where I could guess was Xavier's office, cuz there was a sign that was pointing to it 

As Dr McCoy knocked on the door I heard a gentle "come in" 

with the door open I could see the room was occupied by a group of 4 consisting of what was probably the staff of the school

"so this is him then Hank" professor X stated but I was guessing it was probably for my sake as they were most likely talking telepathically to each other 

"yes Charles may I introduce you Alex Mercer who has just recently become a mutant by his own admission" ok they were totally telepathically talking it is way too quiet in here 

"sup I'm Alex as I said I got a bunch of powers that I wanna learn to use without hurting people" good simple introduction 

"well it's very nice to meet you young man if you don't mind me asking what are you powers, you seem so sure that there are multiple and while it isn't impossible it is very rare for a mutant to acquire more than one power and maybe some supporting abilities" oh cool showing off time 

reaching out to electricity I start to produce bright white lightning from my arms "well I'm an elecrokinetic" I drop electricity and pick up smoke and change my arms to smoke "a typhokinetic" I drop smoke and pick up neon and make my arms glow brightly " a neokinetic" I drop noen and pick up video and make my arms become pixilated "a vinteokinetic" I drop video and pick up concrete and make concrete Armor on my arms "a betokinetic" I drop concrete and pick up paper turning my arms into paper "a papyrokinetic" and dropping paper but not picking up my last power I continue "and the last power I could show you is Pyro-Oleumkinesis but I won't as it's too dangerous to use indoors"

By the time I'm done the room is deathly quiet after a moment Xavier looks at Dr McCoy and asks "Hank what was the last one I'm not familiar with the word" Dr McCoy slowly looks back and him as says hesitantly "if I remember correctly that would be napalm manipulation" and goes quiet again

after waiting a bit I add "oh yeah I can also copy others powers ether temporarily or permanently depending upon the amount of time I take" I really just wanted to scare the shit out of these people didn't I 

"Ahem well that is very good that you already know of you powers but I do hope you know not to use any destructive ones in the mansion" 

"yeah I know don't worry I'm not dumb" I wasn't going to any way that's a good way to die 

"good now you said that you can copy powers do your other abilities come from doing so or are they naturally yours and does the person you are copying the power from get effected in anyway" those are actually good questions 

"well all the powers are mine to begin with and it depends on if it is a temporary or permanent copy" Xavier rolls his hand in a go on manner "well if it's temporary nothing happens to them and it's instant while a permanent copy takes about half a minute and they don't get effected much but I do"

"oh how so" well here's the bad part 

"they are forced to watch the memory most associated with their power while I'm dragged along for the ride when it's all over I become super tired and disoriented, and don't get the power at full strength but I can train the power to be a little bit below the originals power" 

"hm interesting downside are the temporary powers also weaker than the originals" damn I hadn't thought of that so I just shrug 

"don't know never copied any ones power before" after that we just got down to doing the enrolment while the others left quietly
