Ch 10: Heading out

In a courtyard covered in greenery, was a figure that seemed to be moving with grace and such agility that it looked like the figure didn't have anykind of weight, like it was an extension to the wind and will flow with the wind.

After a few moments the figure came to a stop,"Feuh, finally mastered it." The figure now identified as yang feng said. It had been nearly half a year since he had went to the technique hall. All this time he had been practicing his Martial Techniques and had also raised his array master rank to high-common grade. He had not cultivated much in the first month after his awakening, but did not slack off for the rest of the five months and reached the 5th stage initial element realm.

Today he had finally mastered all three of his techniques to perfection and even improved on his movement technique, making it reach High-Heaven Grade.

"Now that I am done with that, I should go outside and get some real fighting experience." He contemplated out loud. Although his cultivation was high for his age, but he had not fought in a real life and death battle even once. Which would make him equal to those pathetic young masters he hated.

He made up his mind and went to find his parents which was not so difficult as they were sitting on the other side of the yard. When he came close to them, he saw a look of worry on their faces and he didn't have to ask as he knew that they would have been worried about yang kai.

It has been a month since yang Kai started practicing the cultivation art his father gave him. But to his parents worry and distress yang kai was not even able to reach the 1st stage body tempering realm.

Yang feng wanted to help but had no apparent way of doing it. At least the bullying he reseved was minimum as he was still the 10th young master of the yang clan. When yang feng grew nearer to his parents, yang ying feng looked at him but before he could ask something yang feng said," I want to go outside to train."

Hearing his words both his father and mother stopped for second, his mother looked like she wanted to say something but was silenced by his father's looking at her. "And when will you be back?" His father answered him with a question.

"In at least a year and at most two year." Just as his words escaped is mouth his mother jumped yelling," Nooo!, you will not!" Just as he was about to reason with his mother, his father beat him to it saying to his mother," I know that you are worried about him but you cannot always keep him at home now can you?"

His mother still did not want to let him go, but relented after his father said," he will still have to go out for training according to the yang family traditions, he can go outside now and experience what will be waiting for him in the outside world."

When his mother heard that she was stunned speechless and eventually relented, after saying that he has to take care of himself outside, she went towards her room in a sulking mood.

"When will you be going?", his father asked and he replied," I'll leave after some preparations.", yang ying feng did not say anything else but nodded and went after him wife.

Seeing his father leaving, he knew it was not a easy decision for yang ying feng to let him go outside to train. Like really, which parent doesn't want their children to grow up safe. Yang ying feng knew the dangers of the outside world and trusted him to not get into any serious trouble.

After standing in the same position for a few moments and thinking of all the time he spent with his parents in this world, he sighed lightly and went to prepare the stuff he will be needing in the outside world.

While packing his stuff he remembered that it has been quite a lot of time since he last checked his mission panel. "Display Missions."

He was not surprised seeing the 2nd mission and it's reward because he had already seen it when he wokeup from his '2 months sleep' as he calls it now. Although he had gotten the reward for advancing to the initial Element Realm, he had not used it until now. He first wanted to gain some fighting experience and hone himself before increasing his cultivation.

But when saw the two other missions and their corresponding rewards he was even more pumped up to complete them. After packing his stuff(some dry food, cloths, gold and some necessaries) in a bag he went outside and near his family's courtyard exit where he found his entire family waiting for him.

After meeting and promising his mother that he will send a letter to her whenever he can, which both knew would not be possible, he left. After he arrived outside the capital city, he took out the map he had taken with him and threw the rest of his stuff including the bag into his inventory.

He noted the direction of the demon forest, it was a forest that exists between the Great Han Dynasty and the Ash-Gray Evil Lands. The forest was covered by lush and tall trees and the surroundings were always covered in a shadow of the said trees with no sunlight passing through. Even the monster beast in the area were more violent because of the environment, than the monsters found outside the forest.

After putting the map into the inventory, yang feng started his journey towards the demon forest.
