At this time, the unconscious girl slowly opened her eyes and saw Jun Wei sitting next to her. She immediately became vigilant and backed away a little asking coldly, "What are you doing?"

"Oh, you are awake. Are you feeling well?"

The girl looked around and remembered what happened. She looked at her ankle and saw the bite marks.

"Don't worry, you are not poisoned anymore."

"Did you save me?"

"I found you unconscious here and saw that you were poisoned so I helped a bit."

"Thank you, what's your name?"

"Jun Wei, what's yours?"

"Liu Yu'er"

Jun Wei was shocked. Everyone in Jun family knows this name. She has mysterious origin and came from outside the Yun Kingdom. She also has a high status in the family.

"Miss Liu. Forgive me for not recognizing you just now" Jun Wei bowed respectfully after standing up although he was feeling unwell. This was a courtesy a low status disciple should give when seeing someone of higher status.

"It's ok. Your face looks pale. Are you alright?" Liu Yu'er asked after noticing Jun Wei's face which was quite handsome for his age. 

"Oh, I am alright. It's just that I didn't have any detoxification pill and it was urgent so, I had to suck the poison out of your body. I hope you don't get offended Miss Liu"

Liu Yu'er's face turned a bit red on knowing this but she quickly stabilized and said, "It's alright. You did what was necessary. Take this" 

She handed over a pill from her storage ring. Storage ring was something only people with high status and money can have in Jun family. Only the head and first & second elders of the Jun family has one but now Jun Wei was surprised to see one in Liu Yu'er's hands. 

'Maybe it was given by her family' Jun Wei thought as he took the pill.

"This is a detoxification pill. Take it and you will be fine" Liu Yu'er continued.

"Thank you Miss Liu"

Jun Wei ate the pill and he started feeling much better. He bowed towards her and said, "Thank you Miss Liu for giving me this pill. If you don't need anything else, I will be leaving"

"Hmm....alright. You may leave"

Jun Wei turned and left. Liu Yu'er kept looking at the handsome back of the boy who saved her. 

Suddenly a black shadow appeared out of nowhere beside her and knelt down.

"Young Miss, I couldn't find you for a while when you disappeared into the forest. When I saw you were unconscious, I was going to save you but saw that boy coming out of the forest. Please punish me for failing my duty" The black shadow spoke.

"It's alright Mr.Hei. I just wanted to roam around alone so I got lost. It is also my fault. You don't have to blame yourself. Also please help me find out about Jun Wei" Liu Yu'er spoke in a serious tone.

"Yes, Young miss" the shadow spoke and disappeared.

After this incident, Liu Yu'er often came to visit Jun Wei in his courtyard. Although she lived in the place of the core disciples of the family and has high status, she was not arrogant or domineering towards him. Over the years, they became friends and Liu Yu'er started calling him Big bro Jun Wei and he calls her Yu'er like a brother calls his sister. They became friends!

"Big bro Jun Wei, I haven't seen you for a week. What were you doing?" 

"It's nothing. I was just busy with the housework and others. Are you here to awaken?"

"Yes"

"Then let's go and line up"

"Hmm...it's a long line" Liu Yu'er said while looking at the long line in front of her. Most of the children are wearing white robes for outer disciples, some are wearing green robes which shows they are inner disciples while a handful are wearing purple robe for core disciples.

Before awakening, the status of the children depends on their family status inside Jun Family. For example, the family of outer or inner region elders can enjoy inner disciple status while families of core region elders can enjoy core disciple status. After awakening, they will be sorted according to their talent.

Yu'er is not a disciple of Jun Family but due to her high status, she lives inside the core region. This is also why she doesn't have to wear the purple robe of the core disciples of the family. Due to her status, she can ignore the line up and go for awakening but she chose to line up with her Big bro Jun Wei.

After waiting for about two full hours, Jun Wei's turn came. Liu Yu'er was standing behind Jun Wei. Although Jun Wei wanted her stand in front, she rejected the offer.

As his turn approached, Jun Wei saw a huge black stele on a slightly raised platform placed in the center of the Test Field. All the children are placing their hands on a clear handprint marked on the stele and a few golden letters are appearing on the stele. This is known as the Talent Stele used to measure talent of a person. Beside the stele, an elder is sitting with a glass-like sphere where children are again placing their hands and different elements are showing up inside the sphere .

This is known as the Affinity Sphere.

After the results are out, the elder sitting with the sphere is announcing them to the crowd and noting the details.

So far most of them has 1-star talent while about 30 children has 2-star talent, 12 children has 3-star talent and only 2 has 4-star talent. Those two children are already hailed as geniuses and have been assigned special treatments in the core region.

"Next" the elder shouted.

"Come on Big bro Jun Wei" Yu'er cheered.

Jun Wei nodded and walked onto the platform. The elder looked at him and said indifferently, "Place your hand on the stele and calm your mind."

Jun Wei raised his hand to place on the stele but his hand was a bit sweaty. No way, he is also nervous about the result as this will decide his future path. Although, he is a traverser and has a system, he doesn't know whether his system can help him in cultivation if he has low talent. Anyway, he calmed himself and placed his hands on the stele.
