MELINA'S DEATH

"Bring them in " King Kaden said as the guards rushed to open the door , and Yana and Chera were dragged in , and dumped on the floor like a bag of dirt , their brown clothing's which look more or less like a sack , had whipping holes in them, dried blood stained their face as their hair sticked to their face , their body reeking of the smell of blood and sweat , as Gatheb and Kaden and the few vampires in the palace made a disgusted face , when they got a whiff if the smell of their blood .

Astriana looked through the hall , as she could not find Melina among the crowd , neither was she kneeling with Yana and Chera , Melina iis her only way to proof Safeera's evil did , 'well at least , Yana and Chera are here ' she concluded in her mind .

As if knowing what Astriana was thinking , Kaden's gaze swept round the crowd as he looked at the two women in front of him with an intense gaze , remembering what they had tried to do to his wife , he had ordered them to be tortured severely , and looking at them know , he felt the torturing was too lenient , he should have taken one of their body parts , and make them feel the pain , but their body would not be able to handle it without proper treatment , and they might die , ' weak humans ' , he thought in his mind , as his gaze swept through them again noticing the last person had not still arrived ,

" where is the last one " Kaden shouted as his voice shook and vibrated the throne room making them flinch ,

"Your highness , she has not arrived " a guard said as he stepped out from the others and bowed his head ,

" I gave others for her to be brought to the throne room , and she dares to keep me waiting " he shouted angrily , as his people shivered out of fear from his anger , fearing he might direct it to them ,

"your highness , she is dead " , a guard said as he rushed in the throne room , sweating heavily , as murmurs , where heard from the throne room after he announced that ,

" and his did that happen " the king said as he stood up , looking at him in anger ,

" it was suicide my king , the maid committed suicide , she slit her own throat , and we saw her dead on her bed , with her throat open and a knife on her hands, and her blood already dried , it seems she did it last night " the guard said as he lowered his head ,

" and who was given orders to watch her " the king asked , as the guards looked among them selves and two stepped out ,

"we are the ones my king , we are so sorry for out incompetence , please have mercy and forgive us " they said simultaneously as they knelt down on the floor banging their heads on the floor as blood flowed ,

"forgive you , forgive you for your incompetence , how was she able to get a knife , I gave clear instructions for her to be carried to the dungeon , so why is her body found in her room " King Kaden shouted angrily , as he came to stand before the two guards ,

" we had no idea my King , we received words , yesterday , when she was being carried to the dungeon for stating that she should be taken back to her room in the maids quarter , and freed from all accusations " one of the guards said as his face showed clear confusion ,

"and who passed this message " the king asked looking directly in their eyes to detect any lies ,

" the general , my king , General William , of the Palace guards " the guard answered , with fear in his eyes , as his eyes clouded with tears of fear ,

"bring Williams in right now " the King instructed as two guards , rushed and came in with a man being dragged in , wearing the clothes of commoners , his brown eyes accessing the royal court room , as fear swirled deep within it , his body well built , but not too tall , but bulky and muscles , his unshaved beards giving him a more matured look , and his blond colored hair in disarray due to struggling with the guards , a brown black bag on his shoulders as he clutched to it tightly ,

"Your highness , we caught him outside the palace gate trying to flee , it is a good thing he was stopped by the men at the gate before we got there or else we would had been too late " one of the men said as he dumped Williams on the floor , his bum hitting the floor heavily , as he scrunched his face in pain ,

"Williams , it seems you had start making decisions in my kingdom " , the king said as he looked at the man in front of him , up and down,

"Your highness , I have no idea of what you speak of " the man said as he stood up , with his chest out , trying to show dominance , and hide his fear ,

"oh right , can you explain why you were seen off duty and running away from the palace " the king said , staring dead eye at the man , as he cowered his fear and lost his stance , Astriana looked at the Kaden , as he stood towering over the man in front of him , his jaws set hardonlock , as his eyes swirled with fire in his orbs , dancing , and trying to come out , his royal coat glued tightly to his body , she fitted her button lip on her teeth as she held on it as she felt her body grow hit , as she ogled at his muscles bulging out of his coat , as veins showed on his hands as he clenched his hands tightly together in a fist to prevent his anger from flaring , as if feeling his gaze on him , he turned to her direction , and stared at her eye ball , his stance seemed to calm down as the fire in his eyes died down , till it flared again when he saw her hitting her rosy pink lip sexily , as his eyes swirled with desire , wondering how perfectly those lips could work down his body , as he felt himself hardened , as he quickly turned away to clear his mind from distractions ,

as Astriana quickly shifted her gaze to the floor , her cheeks blushing red , out of shyness of been caught checking him out , she looked around in hope that no one saw the staring stance that just occurred between her and the king , "gosh what is wrong with me , I am in the middle of my trial , and I am busy staring at my husband's body , who knows what could go down today " she murttered under her breadth , as her thought stopped when she heard the man say ....
