Trick 175: Bringing in Reinforcements

They appeared in the Amazon and Ace looked around, smiling "I found him, follow me please." as he walked forward.

The group looked at his back before following along, Sersi looked at everyone whispering "Who is this guy?" Ikaris filled her in and she gasped "Really?!" before frowning "No, I have to tell you all something!"

She ran over to Ace, saying "Mr. Cloak, I think we may need your help!" Ace tilted his head at her, asking "To relocate? Not an issue, I'd be more than happy to help." Sersi shook her head and said "I'll explain when we find Druig. This is a real problem!"

Ace was confused and replied "Okay…"

The group passed through a village and came to a church where a man was waiting for them, saying "I missed all of you. Who's the new guy?" Ace smiled and said "Cloak, Avenger and Guardian of the Earth. Nice to meet you, Mr. Druig."

Kingo shouted "Druig, take control of him!" Druig's eyes lit up and Ace tilted his head, asking "Must you antagonize me?" before sighing as his eyes glowed purple.

Kingo and Druig fell to their knees as did the rest of the villagers around them as Ace looked at Druig gently, "Interesting power, mind control. However, it's funny. Sometimes it can backfire…"

Druig started sweating as he bent backwards in a painful looking angle, Ace walked to him and smiled "Bark." Druig's eyes were purple as he barked like a dog!

Everyone was stunned and Gilgamesh walked out, saying "Mr. Cloak, please." Ace looked at him and his eyes dimmed to normal as he smiled "Of course, my friends. My apologies."

He released everyone and stood there, adding "1 down, 2 to go, hm?" Kingo and Druig gasped for air, looking at Ace in fear, swallowing with difficulty.

Ace walked into the church and added, "Mind controlling a village of people… You have peculiar habits, Mr. Druig." Sersi helped Druig up, saying angrily "What's wrong with you!" before turning to Kingo, adding "You too! Enough fooling around! This is serious!"

Kingo defended himself, saying "He wants to send us away! I don't want to leave!" Sersi sighed and said "In the church. Now." everyone walked inside and Sersi came to Ace, saying "I'm sorry, Mr. Cloak. It won't happen again."

Ace smiled and replied "It's nothing really. Please, explain your situation."

Sersi nodded and turned to everyone explaining "We've been lied to." everyone looked at her in confusion as she explained "We're not from Olympia, we were created by Arishem to kill Deviants and let life grow for the birth of a new Celestial. Arishem created the Deviants for the same purpose but they were a failure and he created us to deal with them."

She turned to Ace, adding, "The earthquakes happened on a different planet before, Thena somehow remembers the last one! The Emergence of a new Celestial will destroy the entire planet and everyone on it! We have to stop the Emergence!"

Ace hummed to himself, muttering "That is concerning." Druig laughed "Is this a joke?!" Thena spoke, "It happened to Centuri-6." Sersi added "We've done it for millions of years, but our memories are wiped and stored away before every Emergence. Arishem told me himself!"

Ace frowned and narrowed his eyes, muttering "Celestial, eh…" he walked out of the Church, rubbing his chin. He counted on his hands and muttered "Living Tribunal, then Eternity, Infinity, the Mistress, and Oblivion… Then Mistress Love, Sire Hate, Master Order, and Lord Chaos…"

Ace frowned and muttered "The fourth tier under them… Ugh! Stupid tiers! Galactus, Kronos, the Watchers, the Stranger, Odin, Zeus, Yao… and the Celestials, right?" He frowned and pulled out his notebook, flipping the pages before letting out a breath, smiling.

Yep!

Tier 4 in the Cosmic Hierarchy: Galactus, Celestials, Kronos, The Stranger, the Watchers, and the Gods of Earth.

Ace closed the book and touched his chin, he still wasn't as strong as his master, so most likely… the Celestial uses his face to create a new grand canyon, right? Ace shivered with a new found anticipation!

Apparently!

He wasn't strong enough!

He needed to continue his study!

Ace could only imagine the enemies that may arrive in the future! What if he could actually die again! How exciting!

He pulled out his phone, calling Tony, "Tony! Great news! I'm not invincible and could very well die at any moment!" Tony was silent, just confused as he said "Uh… Good for you? Is Death IN right now?"

Ace rolled his eyes and said "No, you don't understand-" before looking up at Deviants appearing suddenly, he pressed out his hand, continuing "What I was saying was, you don't get it. There's a Celestial in the Core of the Earth incubating and ready to come out, blowing everyone up. Boom!"

The Deviants all froze and shot towards Ace like bullets, stopping abruptly in front of him. Tony shouted "WHAT?!" Ace nodded and said "Yeah! Also, I found out that the people are called Eternals. Basically Androids created by Celestials which are like Space Gods. They were sent to Earth 7000 years ago to kill Deviants which are the monsters, in order for life to grow."

Tony fell silent and frowned "So you're with them right now?" Ace nodded, "Mhm. I even have a handful of Deviants in front of me right now. Most likely, we'll have to fight a Celestial? Uhhh… Maybe not though, we should meet up!"

Tony frowned to himself, saying "I'm bringing everyone, are you staying where you are now?" Ace looked behind him at the stunned Eternals, replying "No, probably not. Probably gonna go find the last two Eternals, apparently one of them died." Tony was silent for a moment before muttering "You think…"

Ace pursed his lips and whispered "I don't think studying their dead comrade is very polite…" they looked at him and frowned, Ace smiled at them, adding "Now they're staring at me, thanks." Tony sighed and said "Whatever, send me your location when you find the next one, we'll all go to the last one together. Are you gonna call the old man?"

Ace chuckled "I think we need all the help we can get… I'll let him know." before hanging up.

He turned to the Deviants and muttered "Cute!" as he shrank them down, crystalizing them and putting them away before turning around, asking "So where are your other two members?"

Sersi swallowed, "The Deviants…" Ace smiled, "Not dead. Frozen in time. Shall we go?"

The next day

Ace was leaning on a wall as all the Avengers and nearly all the Eternals were sitting inside a normal house in Chicago.

Tony cleared his throat and said "Hi. Ironman, you must be the Eternals." Sersi smiled "Hello…"
