Chapter 5 Dorm, Punishment

After the Feast, Dumbledore announced a few things and then the Prefects lead their first years toward their house dorms. "Slytherin is special since our dorms are in the Dungeons, it's the only Dorm under the Castle itself and this allows us to be the only dorm with a view of the Black lake from under it!" Said the prefect and lead the First years down and towards an unassuming wall. The only thing special thing was two snake statues standing on each side of the wall. "To enter any dorm you will need a Password. The Password gets changed every week and the new password will always hang in the common room, on the first day of the week. So be good and remember it! Also do not spread it outside the House!" The Prefect warned.

"Pureblood!" the Prefect said and the Wall opened to reveal a rather big room illuminated by green flames. Fancy Stonewalls with a lot of decorations, big windows where you could see inside the lake and many seats, and a big fireplace. Though the Seats seem to be separated from each other a bit. "The way to the Grils dorm is on the left side, be careful no buys are allowed up the female dorm! The Boy's dorm is on the Right and Girls are not allowed up there!" The Prefect said and Daphne raised her hand "Aren´t the Girls normally allowed into the Boy's Dorm?" she asked and the Prefect nodded "Yes, but two years ago the Rules were changed, after an incident, since then it has been forbidden!" the Prefect answered and Daphne seemed down.

"Anyways Boys follow me!" The Male Prefect said and the Boys followed him up the Right side, while the girls followed the Female Prefect up to the left side. Once at the Rooms the Prefect said "Look at the Doors, there are always two people in one Dorm!" Morgana looked and soon saw his name on one door plate and saw he shared his room with Draco... Could be worse. Shrugging his shoulder Morgana opened the Door and choose the right bed and discovered his bag already on it. Why would they know I would choose the Right bed? Morgana asked himself.

Anyway putting his stuff out of the bag and making it liveable the door room was opened and Draco wandered in, seeing Morgana he seemed relieved? "Where are your followers?" Morgana noticed that Grabbe and Goyle were not with him. "They share a room and are currently unpacking." Malfoy said and also started to unpack. "Do we have any classes today?" Morgana asked Malfoy, as he did not pay attention to the Prefects ass kissing the Slytherin House. "No, classes start tomorrow!" Malfoy said and Morgana nodded.

With a Bark, Merlin left Morgana's shadow and jumped on the bed before falling asleep. "You choose a dog?" Draco asked and Morgana answered "No it's a Goat! Naturally, it's a dog..." Draco rolled his eyes "I wanted a snake as a pet, but my father would not allow it and instead got me an Owl. Since I already have a Dragon as a pet, well in writing, but the Dragon is on a Dragon Ranch, not at home" Morgana listened "Dragon? Must have been quite a sum?" He asked and Draco nodded.

"But if it dies, we would get all the Materials, so it was worth it." Draco said and finished unpacking. Morgana already sat down on his bed and cuddled with the Sleeping Merlin. "So, I will be going out to the Common room and form some connections, do you want to come with me? After all, as an heir to the Black family, it is important to have them!" Draco said and Morgana rolled his eyes. "Sorry, but no I actually still need to go to the Infirmary!" as Morgana said it, the Door was opened and Snape walked in. "Mr. Black I have heard what happened on the Train, I have come to get you and bring you to the Infirmary and to get your Statement!" Snape said

"Yes Professor, as I just told Mister Malfoy here, O just wanted to go there." Morgana replied and Snape nodded. "We will see each other later Malfoy!" Morgana said and left with Snape towards the Infirmary where Professor McGonagall was waiting with Madam Pomfrey. "Both of you wait outside as I look at Mr. Black's injuries." Madam Pomfrey said and led Morgana inside. Probably expecting McGonagall and Snape to argue with one another.

"Strip to your underwear and stand there!" Madam Pomfrey said as she pulled him to a bed and made him sit on it. Morgana complied and did not feel any shame undressing before her. As she was a magical nurse in a way. Undressed to his underwear, Madam Pomfrey removed some bandages and sighed as she saw blue and purple bruises on the Boy and clear signs of bones being broken.

Many children would still cry from pain, as the Potion he was given was not made to stop so much pain. She did not ask why he had a rather high pain resistance and just prepared different potions and ointments, It took a while to treat everything, and even then the Boy would need to stay in the Infirmary for at least two days, to make sure all potions are working as intended. Finishing the Treatment she looked at Morgana and brought him the news. "You will be missing your first two days of classes, but it should not be too much as you would only have two classes tomorrow and three on the next day." Morgana accepted the news, but he disliked needing to stay in the Infirmary.

"Here wear this and lay down, too much movement is not good for you. I will invite the Professors inside, if it's too exhausting then just say my name and I will kick them out!" Madam Pomfrey said with a stern face and handed Morgana a hospital gown, well the magical version of it, which is a white Robe. Putting it on Morgana laid down and saw Snape and McGonagall walk over. "So Mr.Black, Mrs.Pomfrey had looked at your injuries and they are severe enough to even Expell Mr.Longbottom." Snape said with a smile as he looked at McGonagall, who sighed.

"Though the severity of the Punishment will be decided by your decision, Mr. Dumbledore himself judged it would be fairer this way." Mc Gonagall said and gave a pleading smile to Morgana, Morgana looked at both "I already have forgiven Mr.Longbottom, but I would understand that he would still need to be punished, at least lightly." Morgana said and Snape scowled at first but calmed down as he heard the last part.

McGonagall understood and was thankful for Morgana being so kind. "Then how would you punish him, Mr.Black?" Snape asked with a smile. Morgana thought for a bit "How about making him help Filch clean parts of the Dungeon? On the way down I saw a lot of Dirty rooms that needed some cleaning?" Morgana asked. Sure it would be physically exhausting, but it would satisfy Snape. Not to mention it's not like Morgana was all fine getting assaulted for nothing. "Good idea Mr.Black the Dungeons really needed a good cleaning and Mr.Filch would sure be happy to get some help cleaning them up!" Snape said and McGonagall resigned, as she could not say anything against said punishment. It was better than getting expelled and cleaning really is a mild punishment.

"Then Rest well Mr.Black as for the Classes that you would be missing, recovering, you would not need to worry, as I already assigned your roommate to help you catch up." Snape said and then left with McGonagall, Snape being happy that a Lion was punished and would even help clean up some of the Dungeon rooms, whose dusty appearance had bothered him!
