Message

Kael gave five gold coins to the Mysterious man and then left the confession room. He walks to the darkroom then exited and ordered a hot beef soup to warm his stomach on the counter. While sipping the soup, he was listening to the singing bard of melody tavern. He enjoyed the song and it was about a hero that closed the dungeons. Kael didn't know who's the one that he meant but Kael knew that he's one of them. Mysteriously, there were many others like him and they were rumored to be young ones.

Kael drank a cup of water after he finished his soup. He thought of going home because it's late so he paid for his fees.

"That's ten coppers sir," the girl with an apron said to him.

"Here's my pay," Kael said as he hands down his fee.

He exited the tavern and then walked with a full stomach. He was calm in his travels as he breathes the fresh air of the street. Unlike the past world he lives in, this world has fresh air that was close to the air conditioner. His hands were in his pocket and he saw little numbers of people in the night. When he arrived at the streets near where he sleeps in, he walks faster and the street was wet due to the rain that has recently poured when he was still at the tavern.

He arrived at the tavern then checked-in on the ugly duckling inn.

"Room number six, ma'am," he said to the counter.

Kael walked upstairs and opened his door. He unstraps his shoes and then went to his bed.

While lying down on the bed, he was thinking of what the mysterious person in the tavern. He was waiting for his sleepiness to strike until something crashed on his window.

Bang!

Kael was surprised because of the loud noise. He opened the window and saw a pigeon. It had a letter on its back. Kael opened the letter that was sealed by a container. The container was strapped on the pigeons' body which the bird carried for a long way.

The letter was rolled to fit on the small container. Kael opened it and it says, "Dear Mael, We are okay here in the mansion. Sir Vanz is currently busy with the construction and projects. I am currently relaxing in my room while writing this message. Don't worry, because we're safe. The workers and people were living more comfortably, because of a higher salary. They wanted to pass their message that they are praying for your safety. Be healthy always and don't stay up late. Your loving mother, Erza."

Kael finished reading and he thought of replying. He grabbed a paper and then replied to his mother.

"Dear Mom, I am well and healthy. Don't worry, because I'm taking care of myself. There are trouble makers that mocked me because I'm a kid so I've taught them a lesson. I've met new adventurers as I went to the capital and they guided me towards the adventurer guild. I've also met a boy of my age and passed the adventurer test together with him. I've visited a blacksmith shop and helped to enchant his products. I will be having my shares. Also the consumable shops, I've helped concoct the ingredients. While I'm at the tavern, I've also gathered some intel about the appearance of the dungeon. To my surprise, the dungeons are created by beings called Fallens. An Angel that rebelled against the creator. As I walked home I've slept then the pigeon arrived so I've replied. I'm sorry if I'm not there to take care of my sibling but I will go home after a year. That's all and take care. Your loving son, Mael," he finished writing and then put it back in the container.

He brought food and water to the carrier pigeon then he grabbed it to make it fly. It flew until Kael can't see it anymore. With what happened, he felt relaxed to know that Golden Valley was safe.

Kael was on his bed and was looking outside as his sleepiness has vanished. Seeing many passersby on the window side, he observed that many adventurers were entering the inn. Coming from various places that they pass the time with. Some drunk adventurer entered and made a commotion. It was non-other than Francis whom he duelled with in the past. He was demanding to battle Kael again but the bouncers kicked him out. He promised to make Kael pay for what he has done and come back again. Kael who was looking at him from the top was surprised when he looked back at Kael then throws a bottle of beer. Kael jolted as he saw it coming, smashing the window but still unbroken from the projectile. Francis then left and Kael was still observing until he has gone in the dark side of the street. Kael wondered what to do next but he was left with a thought to do something to sleep.

   He went into the bathroom and undressed. He took a bath in the night while processing the information he has in his mind. After reading many books, he has understood many things about this world. The history of Lumia was pretty old as he has read in his books. There were wars in the past but has gained peace. There was also a heavenly realm beside the mortal realm called Lumia. Then he asked himself why there were monsters created alongside the other races. The Creator himself made a Law of systems that everyone has to abide. First was the experience points, the monsters were hunted and made as they have experience points in them that was collected by the body to make yourself stronger. They have a reason to exist, so that made Kael conclude things. The next ones were how did the Job class of each tribe were made or acquired. It was coming from the Angels that gave them to mortals. It was given to a single person itself to defend his clan from enemies then it was thought to everyone in the tribe. Only the Job classed tribes were the ones who can teach them to either on their subject or to their lineage. So in the modern era, the Job class were thought by the Job Class families only or by the Academy. The next one was the recent rebel of the Angels, which made Kael shiver as he imagined them to be strong enough to shake the world. According to books, they were seeing the Creator themselves and feared his greatness. To what extent they made it so far as they began to rebel the one they feared and know the most. Kael's mind was troubled as the Sage said that a dark age will come. Kael was hoping that Golden Valley will make it through on that time.
