Inside a black car sat two men, "Sir everything is set for later," said the secretary. His boss did not respond but showed a hint of smile while looking outside the car window. It was time to show who was in power.
Several minutes later, Alexander and Grey arrived at Huyin Enterprises.
"Good afternoon Sir, how may I help you?" asked the woman in the front desk.
"We have a meeting with Mr. Lim," said Alexander.
"May I please know the name Sir?"
"Alexander Grande."
The woman from the front desk picked the phone up and dialed numbers. She asked the person she was talking to, to prepare refreshment and place it on the company lounge.
The woman placed the phone down, "Sir Mr. Lim is still in a meeting right now, please let me escort you to the lounge," she said.
"There's no need, just relay my message to him," Alexander said.
"Tell him that I don't like people stealing what's mine because I get even," he paused; "I get back tenfold," Alexander smirked at the woman then turned around to leave.
The lady's face flushed red because of the split-second handsomeness she just witnessed, but as soon as she realized what Alexander had told her. A look of panic suddenly displayed on her face. She rushed to the CEO's office immediately.
Inside the CEO's office, sat a man in his 40s. Mr. Lim, CEO of Huyin Enterprises, had a big belly and he was smoking. He was relaxing on his seat while puffing the cigarette on his hand, when someone suddenly knocked, "Come in" said the man.
As soon as the CEO saw the lady enter, he straightened his back and threw his cigarette away, "Are they waiting there right now?" he asked his secretary.
"No Sir they already left," the woman reported while rubbing her hands together to get rid of the sweat that was starting to come out from her palms.
"What do you mean? I told you to let them wait in the lounge right?" the CEO raised his voice due to irritation.
"I told them that you were in a meeting Sir and offered them to wait for you in the lounge but Mr. Grande refused and instructed me to relay a message to you," the lady said.
The man raised his eyebrows and asked.
"What message?" Mr. Lim asked.
"Mr. Grande wanted to tell you that he despises people who steal what's his and told me he'll get even," the lady said. Mr. Lim suddenly laughed after hearing what his secretary told him.
"Was that a threat or a joke? Get even? What can he do that if his company is already going bankrupt?" Mr. Lim continued to laugh, "Call Mr. Grande and tell him that I'd love to see how he gets even," he said and then at the right moment his phone suddenly rang.
"CEO Gibbs! How are you? When are we going to play golf?" Mr. Lim greeted enthusiastically. The tone of his voice obviously showed that he was delighted with the call, but not so long after the greeting, his facial expression turned unexplainable.
"What do you mean you're pulling out your investment? You can't do that!" Mr. Lim slammed his hand on the table and stood up. The secretary was flustered by this so she escaped the office immediately.
"Did you know that you almost put my company in jeopardy Mr. Lim!" the man on the other line shouted.
"What do you mean?" Mr. Lim asked angrily.
"I don't know in what way did you offend Mr.Grande, but he almost shut down my company all because I'm currently investing in one of your projects!" the man from the other line exclaimed.
Mr. Lim's eyebrow suddenly raised, "Grande? Alexander Grande?" he asked, "You're scared of him? I'm more powerful than him! I am the one you should be scared of!" Mr. Lim was filled with anger and disbelief.
"What do you mean more powerful? Are you kidding Mr. Lim? Let me tell you," the man from the other line chuckled, "You're nothing compared to him. You're just dirt he can sweep anytime!" the man shouted then the line went dead.
Mr. Lim was instantly filled with rage.
The man threw the things on his table across the room. He lifted his computer and smashed it. He was losing his rationality. The man clearly had anger issues.
He can't believe what CEO Gibbs told him. What? Dirt?
For him it was Alexander who was dirt!
But Mr. Lim clearly doesn't know who he was going up to. All he knew was that Alexander owns a company and he's about to destroy it. He didn't dig further about Alexander's background.
He didn't know what real power Alexander held in the business world.
Then suddenly, Mr. Lim's phone rang again, it was his secretary.
"What?!" Mr. Lim asked angrily.
The woman on the other line trembled when she heard her boss and stuttered while speaking "S-Sir... 2 of our investors just called… they want to pull out," the secretary said.
"Who the hell do they think they are?! They can't do this to me!" Mr. Lim shouted.
"That's not all Sir… Half of the board… they… they sold their shares…" the woman added.
"WHAT? To who?!"
"To Mr. Grande…" the woman's voice lowered down as she spoke, "He holds the biggest share in the company now Sir…" she said.
Mr. Lim, who had his blood boiling, hung up angrily.
Mr. Lim who was still inside his office screamed and cursed everywhere. He smashed all the things his eyes saw.
The room looked completely wrecked, it was a big mess.
Exhausted, Mr. Lim sat weakly on the floor. He scanned his eyes across the room and stared blankly at the window.
Where did things go wrong?
Suddenly, his phone rang for the 3rd time again; "Hello?" he spoke weakly.
"I see you already received my present," the man on the other line chuckled.
"Mr. Grande?" Mr. Lim asked, filled with rage.
"Guessed it right! So tell me, how do you like it?" Alexander sounded enthusiastic with a hint of mockery.
"What do you think you're doing huh?!" Mr. Lim shouted.
"Oh you didn't get the memo? I clearly told your secretary to relay my message," Alexander's tone suddenly sounded disappointed, "I think you should fire her, oh oops sorry," Alexander chuckled, "You already don't have the power to do that, I already own the company," he said.
"What do you want Mr. Grande?!"
"What do I want? Of course to get even. You bought my employees, I bought your company. It's just fair don't you think?" he paused and then chuckled, "Next time, you should know who you're going up against," Alexander's tone was full of mockery and sarcasm that made Mr. Lim faint due to high blood pressure.
He hung up.
"Grey, prepare a contract, sell Huyin Enterprises, I don't care how much and to who," Alexander instructed.
"Yes Sir," Grey answered.
"Let's get dinner first before heading home," Alexander loosened his tie and leaned back to sit comfortably.
"I will reserve your favorite restaurant Sir."
In another country, inside a dark room, a woman was on the phone talking to someone.
"Good job. Right now there will be some people who will doubt her for sure. I'll send your ticket to LA tomorrow. I want you to follow Sabrina wherever she goes. I want you to capture pictures of her being intimate with the director."
"But isn't it dangerous? You know we can't afford to offend the director," the person on the other line was worried.
"I don't care about him. I want Sabrina destroyed, by all means. She's a slut who seduces other women's husband," then the woman hung up.
There was an evil smile on the woman's face, "You just wait Sabrina, I will ruin you," she mumbled to herself.
