Chapter 15- Interrogation

Soon, Delilah came downstairs in a white long-sleeve body hug off the shoulder top, deep blue high waist cargo jeans and a pair of white chunky sneakers canvas. She was drawing a small pink wheeled Chanel suitcase behind her and her school bag hung on her shoulders.

She looks stunning even without any make — up and her outfit screamed wealth.

Though, she can be quite gullible and clumsy, she still has a little sense of fashion.

" Ready?" Old madam Chen asked.

" Ready!…. But you have no idea how much trouble I went through for this dress, grandma. I actually…", Delilah started talking again until,

"Delilah!", The Old madam shouted, "I only asked if you were ready?", she said with a sigh.

"Yes, I said it already grandma, I'm ready…", replied Delilah.

" Old madam Chen, young mistress. We are ready to go", Housekeeper Tang Yu, the housekeeper of their home in C city came in and announced with a respectful bow.

" Mr. Tang Yu, you are here…. Where is dad?" Delilah bowed to greet the man before she asked.

Before housekeeper Tang Yu could answer, the Old madam butted in,

" Let's go, let's go", ordered Old madam Chen as she walked towards the door, Delilah, and housekeeper Tang Yu followed.

When they got into the car, the driver ignited the engine of the car and the car drove slowly out of the house.

***********

Delilah had her face glued to the window as she watched the scenery outside while Old madam Chen knitted.

Delilah turned to the Old madam, but before she could open her mouth, Old madam Chen said," Bring out your books and read"

"Grandma, I can't read in the car remember? I get dizzy, and I won't be able to read properly", Delilah replied.

" Then…*sigh*… bring out your computer and do something on it that can help your life", Old madam Chen suggested without tearing her gaze from knitting.

" I didn't bring it with me", Delilah mumbled with pouted lips.

" Then…", Old madam Chen sighed, she can't believe she was going to say this, "Bring out your phone and do something you teenagers do on it". She would rather not face any interrogation from Delilah.

"Oh!" Delilah nodded, she unzipped her school bag and brought out a tablet, switched it on, tapped the screen a few times and a movie appeared on the screen. She brought out her earphones and connected it to the phone, afterward, she tapped the screen and the movie started to play.
