After two movies, they finally arrived at her father's villa in Brightville estate, C city.

Delilah was lying on the long seat inside the stretch limousine, she'd fell asleep while watching the second movie.

" Delilah, get up…", Old madam Chen tapped Delilah's thigh lightly to wake her up.

"No grandma, there is no school today", Delilah mumbled in her sleep.

"What a silly little child", Old madam Chen shook her head pitifully as she stared at the girl.

She raised her walking stick and hit it on Delilah's buttocks.

"Aiya!", Delilah shrieked as she shot up from the seat, there was a painful burning sensation in her behind. She rubbed it slightly to cool off the pain.

"Get off, we've arrived", Old madam Chen, turned to the door that had been opened by the driver.

"Oh!" Delilah began to pack up. She threw the earphones around her neck

"Bark! Bark. Bark." A little cute dog ran towards Delilah.

" Rigby!", Delilah screamed happily as she squatted to carry the Tibetan Spaniel who had a striped bow around it neck.

She found Rigby in the park two years ago, injured, hungry and homeless. It was a puppy when she brought it home, she told her father she wanted to adopt it, but her father refused, he told her she was too young for such a considerable responsibility like taking care of a pet.

She was devastated, as a sweet little girl, she did what little children do to get adults attention, she threw went on a hunger strike and a long one at that. Her father reluctantly agreed when she passed out on the second day.

"How have you been, Rigby? You've gained a lot of weight, you look so cute….", Delilah kept talking to the dog in her arms, she'll rub its head, rub its nose with hers and kiss it occasionally. The dog's tail kept wagging insanely, it seemed it was on cloud nine, it would bark in response to Delilah's words.

" Old madam, welcome… Young miss, welcome…", the lineup maids and the male servants chorused the greeting and bowed as Old madam Chen and Delilah entered.

Old madam Chen simply replied with a nod, her face remained stern and expressionless. Delilah, on the other hand, who had a bright and warm smile, would answer with a simple "Hi" "Hello".
