Some people in the crew were close to Lily McKenzie and saw Charlotte Cooper slap her several times, causing the corners of her mouth to bleed.
They wanted to speak up for her, but the director didn't tell them to stop, so they anxiously took out their phones and secretly recorded the scene of Charlotte hitting her hard.
In a few shots, Lily was dizzy and disoriented from the slaps, her viciousness clearly visible in her eyes. If the director didn't stop her, she would fight back.
"Cut, this one's good." The director also noticed the unusual intensity of Charlotte's actions and was afraid that if the filming continued, Lily could be seriously injured and he would have to take responsibility.
Susan Hawk watched the nerve-wracking scene and wondered if they had some deep-seated hatred between them if not for Charlotte's usually gentle nature!
Seeing that Charlotte's expression was emotionless, Susan handed her a cup of warm water and said, "Charlotte, take a break."
