Lafnis POV

My father is leaving without even checking on me, I'm pretty sure they haven't heard that I was sick. I woke up on my room, I don't know how I got in here because I slept off in the living room.

Trying to survey my eyes in the room, I saw Sara sleeping on my davenport, with no sheet and while sitting down. I think she fell asleep while watching over me.

I walked to her and picked her up, took her to my bed and covered her lightly half body. Even though she's just a local commoner, she deserves laying on the bed of the Prince.

I walked to the bathroom, took a quick shower and slid in my favorite red robe. I walked out to meet my parents because I overheard that my dad is leaving now. On the hallway I met General Ramon,

"Good morning your Majesty." He said while bowing.

"Good morning,what's happening?" I asked curiously.

"We are about to leave, please if you don't mind." He looked like he's in a hurry I can't be asking any further questions.

I saw my father coming out of his bedroom with his armor on i didn't want to disturb him so I greeted and headed to the dining room.

Breakfast was served and my mother and Sara joined afterwards.

"Sara! what a beautiful morning we have here."

My mother surprised me by her words. I mean Sara have been here since yesterday evening how comes she didn't notice her.

"You're welcome to join us, when did you arrive here?"

Like seriously, mother? Hope my mother won't disappoint me, having this inner monologue won't help I decided to talk.

"Mother? I have something to tell you.." I said in a low voice not even sure she heard me.

"And what may that be, son?"

She sounded so happy and in good mood, what's happening, but I think I'll take advantage of the good mood and obtain some information which have been bothering me.

"What happened to Iruk?"
