Chapter six

 ______I wish he never did_____ 

It was a beautiful Saturday morning , lolu and Jayson decided to go to the basketball court. But lolu mood spoiled immediately when he saw Sylvia in the court .

"What is she doing here?"he said.

"The same thing you came to do", Jayson said.

"Let go back", said lolu.

"What! , No we are not going anywhere and perhaps what your business with Sylvia".

"I just don't know why", said lolu.

"So why are you sick?".

Slyvia walks towards them.

"Hey guys , it is good to see you here", said sylvia.

"We are glad to be here", Jayson said.

"Come let's play some shots", said sylvia.

Lolu tried to walk away.

"Lolu come on don't be aggressive", Jayson said.

"Ple Asssssssssss lolu", said sylvia.

"Fineee!", Lolu grumbled.

Lolu later got along with Sylvia , anyway lolu liked her because she was really good at playing basketball. Lolu was shocked because she was really talented.

"That was awesome", said lolu.

"Thank you", slyvia replied.

"You're really skillful", Jayson said.

"Are any of you tasty?"said sylvia.

"I think I am", lolu replied.

"There's some water over there", slyvia pointed to the fridge , which was filled with bottled water. Lolu took one and quickly drank it all.

"Gawwwd! , this is so cold", said lolu.

"I never knew you were fun to be with", slyvia said.

"Why did you say that?", Lolu replied.

"You act too snobbish", slyvia said.

"Yeahhh , maybe I just like minding my business", said lolu.

"I smell wiffy , I need to shower", Jayson cut in.

"Me too , well I think we should hang out later", slyvia replied.

"Let's meet at the buffet then", said lolu.

"I guess we could be friends now", said sylvia.

"You're welcome to the gen z", lolu laughed.

"You're so funny", slyvia said and hit lolu on his back.

"My mother will sue you for hitting her precious son", lolu said.

"Seriously!", Jayson laughed.

"Let me have your contact", said lolu.

"Okay", slyvia said.

Slyvia gave lolu and Jayson her contact , slyvia left for her hostel while they also left for theirs.

Hermonie was begging Doyin to follow her to the basketball court.

"Doyin please follow me", said hermione.

"I don't feel like going".

"Pleaseee , okay I will buy you ice cream and meat pie".

"Hmmmmm , fine let go".

"Thanks babe , that's why I love you".

"I hate you", doyin said as they both laughed together.

Hermonie and doyin left to the basketball court , they really had fun together after they finished playing basketball they went to the ice-cream court to get ice cream and meatpie which is doyin's favourite.

"You're really good at basketball", said hermione.

"Thank you , have you called Jayson today?".

"No , but he Sent me a text message to meet him at the buffet".

"Have fun , love birds".

"Will you like to go? His friend is coming. I want you to meet him."

"Am busy , I really have a lot to do".

"Aren't you done with your project?".

"Yes! , and I need to do that".

"But , you can when we get back".

"I hate social stuff, you know".

"You're just too annoying".

"Add boring to that". 

"Crazy lawyer".

"Thank you", doyin said as they walked into their hostel.

Desola was the only one at home so she decided to pay Monife a visit.

"Who could that be?", Monife said while in the kitchen with her mother.

"Go and check , maybe bisi is back", said mrs chibuike.

"Hello monife", she stopped. "Can I come in? There's no one in my house , or you're busy?".

"Goodmorning , please come in", Monife said warmly.

"Thanks".

"I'm cooking with my mom in the kitchen, come and join us", said monife.

Desola hesitated a little before following Monife to the kitchen.

"Good morning ma", said desola.

"Nice to meet you dear", said mrs chibuike over the pot of stew on the cooker , which steamed and bubbled.

"Hope you like the this place", said mrs chibuike.

"Yes ma'am", said desola.

"Monife please watch that boiling", mrs chibuike said as she left them.

"Your mom is very nice", desola told monife after they had finished eating.

"Thank you , she is always like that".

"It's so good to be around her".

Later that afternoon Mrs Chibuike tpok them shopping and later dropped desola at home.

"Back to this boring house", she said as she laid on her bed. "Maybe I should call doyin", she said as she grabbed her phone that was staying far away from her too. She called her sister.

"Hello! , doyin have missed you''.

"Hey baby girl, how are you doing?".

"How's school and everything".

"Fine and you? , mom told me you're really getting along with the new place".

"Gist me please!! , I am really bored".

"Girl , not now I am really busy, I'll talk later".

The call ended.

"Why did she end the call?", desola groaned.

Jayson and lolu entered the cafeteria , slyvia was so excited to see them.

"I taught you guys won't come".

"Why won't we", Jayson said.

"Have your sit guys", slyvia said.

"My girlfriend will be here very soon", Jayson replied.

"Cheers to us that doesn't have any", lolu said.

"Don't worry , you will", slyvia said.

Hermonie walks towards them.

"Hi guys ", Hermonie said.

"Hermonie meet my friends , that lolu and Sylvia", said Jayson.

"Nice to meet you , I think your face looks familiar lolu".

"Yes! , the overall best student From Nigeria".

"Oooh lolu chibuike right".

"That sounds correct , you got it right".

"What doyin , I thought she was coming with you", said jayson.

"Nah , you know she likes being indoors".

"Guys what do you like to eat?", Slyvia interrupted.

"Anything", they replied.

Slyvia ordered food and drink and also paid all the bills. Later on they decided to go to the school hotel to have fun , they went to the bar and booked the VIP section. slyvia and Jayson book the same section while Jayson and hermonie booked the fourth section they went separate ways.

"Care for a drink", slyvia asked lolu.

"I would love one".

Slyvia filled the glass cup with wine , lolu took it and sipped a little.

"Not a bad match", he said as he smiled at Sylvia's choice of clothes.

"Thanks , you're terribly looking good".

"I'm flattered".

Slyvia kept staring at lolu he was really looking good , tall and chocolate with beautiful hands and cute pink lips , she kept on admiring him.

"Is there anything wrong with my face , the way you are peering at me makes me feel nervous", said lolu.

"Nothing! Just looking at how cute you are".

"You must be joking".

"How do I look lolu?".

"Have anyone told you how beautiful you are?", lolu said to sylvia.

"I guess you just did", do you want more wine?.

"Sure it really tastes nice".

Slyvia filled the lolu glass with more alcoholic wine , lolu tasted it and felt the taste of alcohol in it .

"I don't drink alcohol".

"It is not really alcoholic", said sylvia.

"Okay then".

After some minutes lolu was already drunk and didn't know what he was doing.

"Sylvia, your lips look nice".

Slyvia was busy making a video of them.

"Thank you", said sylvia.

"Can I kiss you?", Said lolu.

"I wanna do that too".

Lolu moved closer to Sylvia and grabbed her waist closer to his as he placed his lips on hers...…..

The next morning lolu woke up with a trembling headache. Everytime he tried to move his head the pain got worse , so he lay still trying to recall where he had been the night before and what he had done. He couldn't remember anything. Jayson had been in the toilet having his bath , he come out and found awake.

"How's your night", said Jayson to lolu.

"Nothing is good".

"Why are you sounding angry?".

"What happened yesterday?".

"Oooh yesterday a lot happened , you were so drunk that we cut you and silvia kissed".

"What!! , We did what".

"You guys kissed".

"Jayson tells me it's a lie , wake me if I am dreaming".

"Don't tell me you didn't remember anything", said jayson.

"Bro I don't even have an inch about yesterday".

"Well it's not a big deal".

"Bro we kissed , and you said it was not a big deal".

"Lolu why are you so worried?" .

"I need to be".

"It wasn't your fault", said Jayson.

"Then who's at fault , what if she starts thinking of a bad guy or something".

"Maybe you should call her and let 's have a picnic together".

"I'm scared I pray she doesn't remember anything", said lolu.

Hermonie woke up feeling weak and tired.

"Goodmorning doyin", she said.

"Hope you slept well?".

"My head aches badly".

"It should after getting drunk that much yesterday night".

"I did what!?".

"Forget it , you weren't drunk that much".

"You scared me".

"Just go in there and shower".

"I will do that right away", she said as she went into the toilet.

"Thank god I didn't follow", doyin muttered .

She pushed the duvet and got out of bed searching for her slippers. She took her laptop and hurried back to the warmth of her bed because it was so cold that morning.plumping her pillow so she could sit up comfortably against the wall.

"I better get this project done before the exam on monday", she said.

"What are you doing?", Hermonie said as she tied a towel around her chest.

"Working on my project".

"Will you like to join the afternoon picnic".

"Who is hosting that".

"Jayson and his friend , so he would like us to come".

"You can see i'm busy".

"Fine no one is forcing you".

"If you do I'll sue you for that".

"Okay barrister Yakubu".

Lolu was scared to call sylvia , but he later surmond the courage.

"What do I do Jayson?", said lolu.

"Just calm down , and call her".

"I pray , she doesn't remember anything".

Lolu put a call to sylvia.

"Good morning , lolu stopped".

"Morning , hope you slept well?", slyvia said.

"Would you like to come over for picnic at the lake?", Lolu said to sylvia.

"Yes I would love to", said sylvia.

"Okay then see you later", the call ended.

"I don't think she remembers us kissing", said lolu to Jayson.

"So did she say she will be coming".

"Yes , is hermione coming?".

"I already called her , she said yes".

Lolu , Jayson and hermione were at the lake they decorated the lake with rope light and balloons. They also built a tent house , with lots of foods available. They were waiting for sylvia. 

"Sorry for coming late", slyvia said as she walked towards them.

"It fine , you look good", said hermione.

"Let the fun begin", said lolu.

Jayson turned the speaker on while played a popular nigeria song by Adekunle. Lolu and sylvia were inside the tent house together , while hermione and Jayson were also in theirs. Lolu was nervous and silence when sylvia said something that got lolu shocked.

"Lolu have you kissed before?".

"Nah , he said nervously".

"So yesterday was your first time", said sylvia.

"So you remembered what happened between us?".

"I couldn't forget how your lips felt on mine".

"Am sorry I didn't mean to".

"I love it".

"I thought you were angry".

"No , I wasn't".

"I'm sorry once again".

"I love your lips on mine , I really want us to do it again".

"You must be kidding".

"Can we try it again?".

"Do you want us to?".

Lolu and slyvia ended up kissing each other, they had fun together and even danced together. After the picnic was over they went to their hostels.

"Am back", Hermonie said .

"What is the happy face all about?", Said doyin.

"I wish you didn't miss the opportunity".

"What opportunity?".

"Jayson's friend already found a girl".

"So what is my business with that?".

"I wish it was you , I really want you to meet that guy".

"What the furk about this guy , is he gold?".

"You know the guy that won the top list is him".

"Whatever that is none of my business , I only love the person I have feelings for".

"Your love at first sight , I thought you had forgotten about him".

"Why would I? I still like him of course".

"That nice tho , I pray he hasn't found someone else".

"That's your problem".

"I need to sleep", Hermonie said as she laid on the bed.

"I can't believe i'm getting to like her you know", lolu said to Jayson.

"Lol Uuuuuuuuuuuu!!", Just like that.

"We even kissed again".

"But that was too early to do".

"Who cares , I like her".

"Best of luck anyway".

"Thank you".

Slyvia was in her hostel telling her friend Kelly about what happened between her and lolu.

"Kelly! guess what happened", she said.

"Just spill the gist baby girl".

"We kissed again and this time around we romanced".

"Poor boy I wish he never did", Kelly said with a sad expression on her face.

"Oooh baby girl stop wishing , he already did", said slyvia as she laughed wickedly.

"I wish he never did actually", she muttered
