Aizen woke up from the game and removed his VR Helmet. Having nearly finished the game, his frustration did made him watched the ceiling of his room.

He observed his room and saw a glaring difference. He went to observe everything and concluded that it was his past room since he was a kid! He hastily went to see his face on the mirror and he concluded. He was younger this time. His porcelain skin and slightly pinkish cheeks were seen. The jet black hair with a round face was carressed slightly. Blinking several times his almond eyes and long eyelashes.

The thing he was troubled was, he nearly finished the game. Though he was the only lord that was left of the Kingdom and was surrounded by the enemy lords.

But! His knowledge would help him to get back at them. He will make the enemies pay for what they have done.

Watching the calendar on his phone, he immediately grinned at what he discovered. The date was when the game Lords Online would be released in just several days!

It was a game that has massive multiplayer mechanics where you play as a Lord yourselves. Everyone could be a lord at last! Even an ordinary man could be a noble in this world. It would be revolutionary.

Now with the full dive mechanics, your five senses were linked to the game. That means you can taste the food, feel the ground, the warmth of the fire and more!

Aizen then prepared for the worst. He would try again to conquer the game.

The game would be released in just a few days. This game garnered attention from all gamers who excelled in Strategy and Kingdom-building games.

One of them was an Esports player called Copycat which was his alias. He excelled in MOBA games, Strategy games, Martial arts games, and Kingdom-building games.

Now that he was at the top, his games have become boring. The appearance of Lords Online has sparked the fires that dimmed inside his heart. Especially that it was the first VR full-immersion game that would be released!

Beta testers said that they have 100% immersion as well as feeling the pain, fatigue, hunger, and exhaustion. Making it a full immersion at its pinnacle!

Also, the game was dreadful and fear-striking. Jump scares were at their best and you will be in full dive. And so, you could only pray that you will not wet your pants while in a dream-like state. Making you scream while in your dreams. 

Now this game was not to the faint hearted and it could challenge your wits and will. The game that would revolutionize the Lordship genre into another level!

Streamers also were excited to let the world know of the world firsthand as they could record their game while playing. They were excited to make content about the game itself. 

But as he remembered his past life before rebirth, he only laughed at it. He was called Lumiel Von Daylight. He was the best assassin in the mafia world. Killing a thousand kill count and succeeding in multiple assassinations with zero failure. He became a top assassin nonetheless.

Also, as an assassin, he learned all the martial arts of Earth. Making him the most lethal human weapon. 

But as he became a threat to both his enemies and his boss. He was branded with Red Notice. He was targeted by all the assassins of the world. Deeming him the title "World target number 1".

Now he was tired of running and finally faced them all which led to his death. But! As he died, he woke up in the body of a child. His name was Aizen and as he grew up, he became addicted to games. Due to his past life as an assassin who craved the kill, this was the type of hobby that cured his boredom and lust for the thrill of the game. 

He easily became a top player of Esports on both FPS and MOBA. Also an avid fan of kingdom base-building strategies, shooters, and, survival games.

Now that he thought about it, he was a man that held grudges. He also found out the link of the traitorous boss that disposed of him to the game as they have connections. He also saw his face on the news as he was the co-owner and the biggest investor in the game itself. 

And so, his path for revenge was set and he also trained for this day. But he wanted to test the game too as he wanted to satiate his boredom. 

Aizen was inside his room, typing fast as he chatted to the group forums about the upcoming game launch. He was an avid gamer of RPGs, be it offline or online.

His alias in the game was Copycat and he used them in all of his accounts. He also planned to use it again in this new game called "Lords Online".

This game was set to a medieval period where lords and kingships were present. There was also a mix of fantasy as there were presences of monsters like goblins and fantasy tribes like Druids.

"Monsters? Fear me! I am Lumiel Von Daylight—The greatest Assassin of all time! Though seriously, they can't feel fear. And it's just a game. Anyway, now, let me enjoy this new game. I have high hopes for it. Seriously, I still have to buy it." he immediately laid his back on his gaming chair and sighed. 

"This new game will be lit! It felt surreal that it was finally released. I have waited for years! Let me play with my cousins and friends. It will be exciting!" he then heard a chime of notification. 

The chat forum appeared in his chat messenger and it sounded like a notification. Aizen then smiled when he saw the chat logs in the forum. Seeing his online friends chat lively, he decided to reply.

[Kingkillingood: I already bought the full package. I will surely enjoy this.]

[Copycat: I still have to order my new precious VR full-immersion helmet. I hope I won't run out of them.]

[Gottobekiddingme: Order fast bro or the game will be sold out!]

Hearing his friends' urgent replies, Aizen ordered fast and watched the countdown.

Looking at it, he went to watch his aquarium which has a guppy and a mini terrarium on the side. He also has a turtle on his side, watching those two pets of his to pass the time.

Eventually, The package arrived and he ran as fast as he could. He did a tornado kick to the door handle then the door opened. He saw the stairs and he leaped to the walls and backflipped to the corner of the stairs. He was fast to leave his room and stepped on the stairs rapidly. Leaping on the stair handles side to side then backflipping on the floor. Dashing to the corridor, he twisted the door knob.

"Hey, Aizen! Slow down." his mother who was washing the dishes while wearing an apron, reprimanded him. She was always having fright attacks every time Aizen did these things.

"Sorry Mom," he apologized and opened the door. 

The delivery man then handed him the box and made him sign the papers before saying goodbye. Aizen signed it and butterflies on his stomach were fluttering. It was due to his excitement and his love for this game!

He entered his room and immediately cut the tape covering it. After opening it, he saw the helmet and the paper guide that was on the side. Furthermore, some wires and a game console that he set up on the side of the bed. 

With it, he downloaded the game and waited for it to finish.

While waiting, Aizen went back to the forum. There were a million players who had already pre-ordered the game and downloaded it. It would be a vast community that the game would manage. Also, he took a peek at some small spoilers in the game. It would be a mix of game modes and had an end-game campaign. This only led to him having more excitement.

"Hehehe! I will surely enjoy and dominate this game! Muahahahaha!" Letting out an edge lord-like laugh, he then ate snacks to prepare beforehand for a deep dive into the game. Moreover, he put a box of snacks in his bed to be a hardcore player who played games for several days, or just a shut-in gamer who would likely stay in his room until a part of the game ended.

But! He was sleeping while gaming and so, he would likely be hibernating. Consuming only a small portion of calories and carbohydrates, surviving better while gaming. Also there was a nutritional support on while gaming. He was in dextrose while asleep.

Afterward, Aizen typed his game account "Copycat" and prepared his console. He put on his VR full immersion helmet and laid down on the bed. Closing his eyes, he booted the device.

"Link soul!" Aizen said the game's command word to start.
