Vol 2 ch 25

It was the next day and Loki had already made some breakfast. Ace had already set up the table.

She was eagerly sitting and waiting. Loki had flipped a few pancakes that he was making. And had expertly caught them on the pan. Another pan had some fried eggs and bacon that he was preparing. The smell was slowly defusing into the room. The aroma was causing both Loki and Ace to salivate.

In some time, Loki was done and he had made two plates. One for himself and one for Ace. They had both started to eat. Ace was staring at the utensils as she had no idea how to use them. She had looked at Loki and started to clumsily copy him.

Loki smiled at her actions and then slowly he began to teach her.

"Hold your fork like this." He had demonstrated to her. Showing her the proper way to hold it.

"Yes, just like that." And so they had begun to have a bonding moment.

Soon, they were done and Loki was trying to get a fix for Bruce's location.

Already, Loki was thinking to himself. Bruce wanted to be out of the eyes of the public for the moment. So this place was perfect for him. He would also know more then he could ever hope to know how to take care of a child. There was only the problem of his big green friend. Loki was sure that he could reason with both of them. It would also help him add some more protection as well.

Right now, Loki was trying to track him through the ear rings that he had given him. He could only track Bruce if he used the seal. He could also enlist the services of his girlfriend as well. So when the time came for Ace to ask him about her body. He could offload such responsibilities to her instead. She would also have a better idea about raising a girl.

There, Loki had just found him. It was time for him to leave. He could not leave Ace alone for the moment. So, he had to take her with him.

First, he had made a mini Tobi costume for her. A small orange mask with an accompanying cloak. After he was finishing dressing her up. Loki had nodded to himself in agreement. This was the perfect disguise. Like father like daughter.

"Come on, we are gonna see one of my friends." Loki had told her.

She had nodded at him and stood up, raising her arms in a motion to carry her.

Loki had smiled. "Are you not a little too old to be carried like that."

In reply, he had only gotten a deadpan look from her. Seeing that that may have no effect on him. She had decided to revert to her non existing acting skills. Ace had pretended to start to sniffle. She was slowly willing herself to begin crying a little bit.

With an audible sigh, Loki had complied. He had picked her up. Mentally, in his head. Lots of tinny Loki's were dancing in joy and high fiving each other. Maybe he could find a way to trap her at this age forever. Loki was mentally thinking to himself. He would also need to help her with her acting skills. It was very blatant and easy to see.

Loki used Kamui.

A portal had opened up which had swallowed up both of them right at that moment.

Bruce had just finished talking with Betty a few moments before.

He was working as a volunteer doctor at the moment. He had found their camp within the amazon's forest and had joined them when he had displayed his knowledge. They had also been happy to find some company for themselves here.

When asked, Bruce had explained that he was a traveling doctor who had been working in the less fortunate parts of the world. He was now working in a make shift camp. Administrating some vaccines to the children there.

The question is, how did he find himself in the Amazons. Well, he was threatened a few times and forced to give up what little medicine he had. He had complied. But when the locals were threatened, he had let the Hulk out and both of them had usually proceeded to kick some butt. Save the locals and then run away.

Alot of people were calling him some kind of ancient warrior spirit back to extract Justice on the world. And so a few of these incidents had occured. And afterwards, both of them had to usually skedaddle out of there.

In this time, Hulk had also grown more intelligent. Something amazing was that Bruce could use some of Hulk's strength as well. The only sign that showed when he was using his strength was that his eyes usually turned green during such instances. He could display some instances of strength during that time.

Bruce had heard a coughing sound behind himself. Believing it to be his fellow colleagues. He said, "Please wait a minute. I am just going through the inventory." A paper was in his hand as he continued to compare inventory levels.

This time he heard two coughs behind himself.

Bruce sighed and turned around.

He saw Tobi and what could accurately described as a Mini Tobi on the shoulder of the big Tobi.

Bruce's Brain had stopped working for a moment. It rebooted. Bruce had blinked and it took a moment for it to reboot.

"Tobi right, and who is this." Bruce had asked, wariness colored his expression.

"She is little Tobi. You can also call her Tabby." At this she had started singing her legs.

Bruce had gathered himself. Both of their antics were just too distracting.

"So, what can I help you with." Bruce had asked them. "The ear rings are working fine," Bruce had replied with a smile. He had been talking with Betty almost everyday nowadays.

Loki had brought a hand infront of his mask and cleared his throat. His hand had then went to his shoulder where he had picked up Ace and had presented her to him.

"This is little Tobi. I need your help raising her." Loki had proceeded to tell him.

Bruce had looked at him in confusion. "Can't you call child protective services."

"Nope, I had found her in an undisclosed off the books testing facility." Loki had replied to him.

Ace had now gotten annoyed. She had started to struggle. Kicking her legs.

"And I need your and your girlfriend's help. I can provide accommodations." Loki had placed ace down, who had run to hide behind Loki. Peeking out to stare at Bruce.

There was not much Bruce could answer to that.

But he had one concern. "And what about my room mate's situation." He had looked at Loki with a pointed look.

"Don't worry about that. He is a sweetheart. We had so much fun together." Bruce's wallet still hurt. The Hulk had an appetite. One of the condition for the cooperation between them was that he would buy Hulk food. And boy can Hulk eat.

"And you will be paying for that. You know."

Loki had given him a thumbs up. "I have no problem with that."

"Good then lets go. I haven't met the big guy for a long time. I will introduce him to little Tobi as well."

"Just give me a moment and let me say goodbye." Bruce had told him as he had turned around to go talk to the head of the group.

"Is there something I can help you with Mr Bruce." The head of the group Alex had asked him. She was also one of the senior doctors present there as well.

"My apologies, Something has come up and I need to leave." He had told her.

She had looked at him in confusion. "My apologies, I believed that we were returning to the states together."

"I am a traveler Madam. I rarely if ever stay in one place." Bruce had replied to her.

"I understand." She had replied.

Bruce had very little with himself. He usually did not keep alot of stuff with himself. The reason was simple as he was never sure when he would be leaving or why. He always kept his stuff packed.

It took him a moment as he had picked up his own suitcase. He had reached Tobi ho was waving to him. Little Tobi still hidden behind him.

Loki used Kamui, and transported them all to Loki's retreat. Something he was calling his little slice of paradise.
