Even though Kyōko and Tetsuya didn't talk about their relationship in the office, it was obvious there was something going on between the two. Kyōko was probably trying to avoid suspicions about them doing inappropriate things in the room by not choosing him but, in Sachiko's words, fate had it that way. Although it did make me a little uncomfortable, there was nothing wrong with that. I just didn't want to think about it.

Not everyone wanted to wait for the elevator, so half of the company took the stairs. I would've waited for the elevator, but Sachiko made me walk with her.

Finally, we reached our floor.

"You were right. I regret making us climb seven floors with these bags," Sachiko said.

"And you're the one in shape."

Luckily, our room was near the stairs. Sachiko used the key to unlock the door and we stepped inside.
