The Past-4~

•Previously•

As the time passed their voices became louder and stronger. the temperature didn't go down it just started to fight back the spell. Just as they almost got it under control A muscular man dashed right through grabbing Racheal by her neck-

The man growled as his eyes started to turn grey and fangs grew out of his mouth onto his delicate looking lips. Ricky fell back. Randy yelled and chanted some incantation to trap Lia.

"Jack!" Lia cried out. He felt weak, any wrong move meant a risk to Lia's life. He loosened his grip on Racheal's neck.

"Bloody werewolves" Racheal scoffed. He tightened her grip again. "What were you trying to do to her!?" Racheal smiled in disbelief.

"She was melting to death they were casting a spell to control her temperature! We were helping! She can die now!!" Ricky yelled.

"Lila!" Jack called out his voice cracking as he held his tears back. "Conall- The sea- She need the sea" Conall tried to touch her-

"You don't wanna touch her" Racheal warned and showed her wounds. Meanwhile Penelope sat by Lila's side, tearing up and Isabelle trying to hold her back.

"You! You said she need sea- right? We can cast a spell and move her without touching her- Levitation is a simple spell no harm done...." Ricky looked at Jack. He sniffled and got his hands off Racheal, Randy took back his spell from Lia.

The witch and the warlocks started reading incantations trying to levitate Lilac's body- which was still burning and the green light only grew brighter. They levitated her body and started moving as fast as they can. Penelope stayed in the front and cut all the branched that came in her way. They soon were on the beach. The group of three delicately tossed her body into the sea.

Lilac's body just sunk, and sunk- the light became dimmer and dimmer. Soon Lila's body was out of sight. Jack panicked. He almost jumped into the sea to look for her. Splash! Lila shot up in the air from the water with her ruby red, shining tail. She dived back into the sea and swam on to the beach. She avoided the death stare she was getting by Jack.

"Well, we are done here. Boys let's head back." Racheal turned around.

Isabelle held her wrist. "Wait" She said and looked at Jack. "Jackson, you got something to say?" Isabelle waited for a response.

"Sorry... I overreact when it comes to my sister- and thanks... she would probably have melted away if it wasn't for you guys" He shook his head.

"Say, guys- aren't you surprised that Lila is a mermaid?" Penelope stepped up to them.

They simple moved their head and smiled.

Ricky put his hand out for a shake "We didn't actually introduce ourselves. I am Rickson, this here is Racheal, and he is Randall"

They all shook his hand and introduced themselves. The group of three left and disappeared into woods.

Lila held her ears and made a puppy face "Jackie~ I am sowwyy~" She apologised. "You promised you would take care of yourself!" They both made up and ugh that would be the most adorable thing-

"How can you forget to mention seaweed! Ricky you've got to be kidding me!" Racheal whined as she rummaged through her bag.

"We can go back to the beach tomorrow… Just for a lil' walk and we can even get seaweed! It has been a while since we've taken a day off right!" Randy attempted to calm her down. She just sighed and nodded off before going back to her room and shutting the door loud enough for the neighbours to know she was mad. You could call Racheal a perfectionist; and a hot head sometimes-

•Next morning•

Racheal and the boys got dressed in all black leather outfit ready to cross the forest and go to the beach. Wish they could just teleport- but for 10th graders, it was forbidden. They set out and passed through the dense woods. Racheal cut the branches in their way and the branches grew back covering their tracks. That is how it was- the forest heals itself faster than any other creature on the island.

They finally reached the beach and started taking off their leather clothes to reveal bathing suits. They dived into the sea and started looking for the sea weed (Not like they could just collect it from the beach- sigh).

While Ricky was swimming close to the bed something clutched his ankle. His whole body froze in place. The chills were creeping up his neck as he slowly turned his head to sea a small sea creature had held him in place. He tried to pull himself using his hands, but it only made it worse. It got hold of his wrists and it started rolling him in green leaf rapidly.

Racheal noticed Ricky was gone- She turned around looking for him. She could see him getting pulled more and more into the sea gradually. She closed her eyes and tries to use a spell to get Ricky but instead she got hit by a green shock of waves. She and Randy swim to the surface to take a breath and go back nearer to Ricky. Racheal almost couldn't swim. She got weaker and started drowning.

A shocked Randy panickily swam after her grabbing her shoulder and pulling her out of the water. He laid her on the beach as he felt his eyes filling up.

"I swear I will be back with Ricky, just hang in there Rachie." He sniffled.

He dove back in as fast as he can. He saw a green light shining from where Ricky was. It was Lila! She got him. She swam to the surface and noticed Racheal laid on the sea too.

"Are you guys crazy!? Why were you guys in this water? It is..... cursed." Lila cried out. "For now, lets go anywhere safe. Come on. To my den"

Lila grew out her legs and carried Racheal as Randy carried Ricky. They walked to the den.

"Hey Lila you are late today, what happened" Jack mumbled as he heard a voice near the den. Seeing Lila with the group of three from the last day, they were really shocked! "What happened to them!?" Penelope asked with a concerned face.

Lila narrated everything that happened and they laid Racheal and Ricky in the den. They wait until they were not weak anymore.

Lila and Racheal were both grateful for each other. Well, They saved each other's life!

From that day on the group hung out often and grew closer.
