Life As A God

Five worlds. One Almighty to rule them all. The first, a world where the Gods have chosen to forsake all creatures, stripping them of their powers and magic, reducing them to war and chaos. Earth. The second, a world inhabited by mythical creatures with astounding abilities, ruled in a fair and just manner. The Mirror World. The third, a world ruled by the Goddess of Death, hosts all the sinful being from all other worlds, silently and painfully paying for their crimes. The Underworld. The forth, a world full of joy and happiness, where the kind soles wait for their chance to once again walk the Earth. The Spirit World. They fifth, a world which hosts the gods that overlook the worlds, making sure that everything is in order. Heaven. The previous Almighty was overthrown. Now, a new one has to be chosen. Two candidates with no knowledge of magic. Gods scramble to pick sides as the candidates prepare for the inevitable. Who is worthy of the title? Who will win? Who will be the next Almighty? Watch as the story spanning millennia unfolds and lies, conspiracies, and deals made in the dark crawl out of shadows and into the light. Welcome to a universe of wonder and magic with vampires, werewolves, elves, and nymphs. A universe ruled by the Almighty…if they are worthy. Sit back, relax, and enjoy some Stone tea (curtesy of Stars) while the story unfolds.

Chapter 22: Cell

Cells.

Not the ones in your body that humans claim to make up all living things.

But sort of the same in that only certain people are allowed to enter and leave. And she was not on that exit list. No, she had to force her way through. Like a virus, except she has to go out not in.

Out of a dark, dreary cell.

Where you are left to rot as your mind slowly goes crazy. Or in this case crazier.

With windows where no light can get through.

In a prison. Not the one in Games' games. One that no one has escaped alive.

Yet.

She was going to do it. She was going to be the first person to escape.

Why her? Because she is not like the rest of the prisoners. She will not perish if she steps out of this prison. The formation had no effect on her.

Why? Because she has a body.

A living. Well, not that living. She did die once already.

Moving. Even though she can't move now because of the chains, her body still has the capability to move. Then again her whole body was numb except for her eyes. Maybe her body has already rotted away and she could not feel it. Maybe she is just a soul. But no. If that was the case then the PHYSICAL chains would not bind her. And she could move and half-feel her eyes so she must be able to move.

And she has a heart. Yes. A heart. A LIVING heart...that...is...not...beating. Her excitement fades away.

Ok. Ok. Maybe...just maybe...she is not alive, but she still had a physical body. How else would she be able to see the chains digging into her skin? Ugh, that's certainly going to scar. She wonders if the scar would look nice.

And she goes on to imagine what the scar will look like. Now, now, don't judge her too harshly. Spending millennia alone with nothing to accompany you but your own thoughts can do that to people. But she was not one of them. After all, if you asked anyone who knew her - except two individuals - they would respond, "Run FAR, FAR away and DO NOT look back."

She is quite a lovely individual, don't you think?

Oh, you want to know who she is?

Why, of course.

She is one who refuses to speak the common tongue of the Gods.

She is the one who is tormented many and killed more.

She is one you would often see only in your worst nightmares.

With blue hair softer than silk and dark blue eyes that resemble a stormy night at sea, she is the Goddess of Water who is now reduced to a lowly prisoner in the lowest level of the Underworld.
