Strong Enough.

"You have been here for so long, it's time you leave " Trinidad's mother held Liana's hand

"But it's so wonderful here, why would I leave?" Liana looked up. She was picking flowers with little kids playing around her.

"Because his waiting for you, silently praying you to wake up soon," she said.

Liana stood still holding the flowers, "I miss him too, but I feel like am not ready to face anything yet"

She walked to where Liana was, "I know you hiding here cause you are afraid of what the pain and betrayal of your family have done to your pure heart, but sweetheart you're my daughter you can face this.

One of the kids ran to her and held her hand, she looked down smiling, "You have been here for so long but haven't asked who they are ?"

"I don't want to know cause if I do then I will miss them when I go away ".

Her mother smiled, "then I won't tell, but, know they have been with you for centuries. I created this place so they could live here until you're able to come to see them ".

Liana turned away feeling her heart start to throb, I said I didn't want to know". But her mother didn't stop talking.

"You kept losing them and didn't even remember about ever having them, so I made this place to keep them safe until you remembered and came to see them ".

"But I didn't want to remember or morn for them right now, it's too painful, and am not ready to see how irresponsible I was in the past" she cried

"Who said anything about you being irresponsible dear, it wasn't your fault love, the curse of following him for the entirety made it impossible to have them in your way, and you forgetting everything didn't give you enough time to morn for them properly... But here they are now, spending time with their mother helping you heal and finding yourself again".

Liana who was holding back her tears started crying making the little kids surround her, little hands filled her face trying to stop her tears.

"See they would do anything to see you smile, so you hiding here with them instead of giving yourself another chance so you can correct all the past mistakes and also get a second chance to live will be wasted if you stay here ".

"Am scared am not strong enough to do it".

"But you're forgetting the people who love you, Joy, your now repenting mother, Gerald, and the man who has loved you for all his life, Xavier, who is lying next to you right now asking you to get back to him," said her mother.

She looked at the little figures and smile up at her. I Love you all...and you too mother ". she cried.

"We love you too, honey. Now go home and give this chance another try. her mother and all the kids hugged her with little giggles.

Xavier who had dozed off felt Liana move waking him up.

"Liana?" he called

"Mmm.."

He sat up holding her face, You're awake. he smiled.

She smiled weakly, "I missed you "

He bent down filling her face with kisses, "I missed you too".

He called the doctor who did a full check on her assuring him she was okay now. He stood next to her bed after gazing at her with a smile.

Liana stared back and opened her arms, " Hold me " she said. Xavier lay next to her, holding her in his arms tightly.
