Chapter 33

For no reason in mind, I wanted the group meetings to be held at my house so I had to set up all methods so that they will agree with me.

"Yeah, he nanny is very friendly too, I've slept over at her place before", Jennie chipped in. I was finally sure they were convinced since Jennie also agrees with me.

"Okay then, how about we meet two days at each house", Keenan was trying to be impartial, I could tell. Since it was Wednesday, we could start on Thursday then we would spent two days at my place and the other two at Ryder's so that he wouldn't feel like we rejected him. Keenan was really a good leader. He had the potential of settling disputes before one arose and that was what he was doing now.

"I think that's fair enough", Jennie comment and we all nod.

"Now what time will suit all of us?", Keenan brought up another question.

"Well, I do nothing at home so anytime you guys fix is okay with me", I said proudly.

"You do nothing at home?", Keenan asked sounding surprised.

"Do you have any problem with that?", I question back

"I'm just surprised why a…

"I think 6 or 7will be okay", Jennie cut in trying to stop the argument that was about to liver around.

"Me too", Ryder added.

"Okay then, we will meet tomorrow at 7 at Aislin's house", Keenan concluded sounding as if he didn't need any more complaints or suggestions. "Anything else?", he finally giving room to clear doubts. Everyone was quiet including myself since nothing came in mind for me to address.

"If there's nothing more to talk about then i assume we all will make it to the meeting… we can got out for our lunch now", Keenan said and we all went out leaving him in his seat. While walking out, I noticed a tension between Jennie and Ryder so I decided to excuse myself so they could talk freely.

"You guys can take the lead, I want to use the washroom", I said to them and walked towards the washroom. I heard Reuben's voice behind when I left the two love birds. I turned around and found Ryan and Reuben talking to Jennie and Ryder but couldn't hear what they were saying so I decided to walk closer to them.

"I wasn't walking with her, it was a coincidence I met her here", I heard Ryder say to them.

"Mmm I see, I hope she wasn't disrespectful to you just because you are in the same group with her", Ryan said sarcastically.

"She dares not", Ryder replied. I thought they could solve it on their own so I stood at a distance where I could hear them without going any closer.

"But why is she standing here? Who is talking to her?", Reuben asked no one in particular.

"I was about leaving…, please excuse me", Jennie said and walked pass Reuben but Ryan tripped her making her fall. I lost my patience wit what those brats were doing. They both laughed at her when she winced in pain making me angry.

"I never knew insane people still existed in this school", I said to them when I got closer to them.

"Hey pretty, how are you doing?", Reuben asked taking closer steps towards me.

"How can I be fine if people like you are in this school?", I smirked. "Jennie, let's go", I helped Jennie up and tried to walk away from them but Ryan stopped us.

"I was thinking if I could join your study group, it would really be fun, don't you think?", he asked raking his brow.

"Sorry but we don't need rascals like you in the group not to talk of being in my house ", I rolled my eyes at him and walked away. We had just twenty minutes left to go back to class for the next lesson to commence but we had not eaten so we had to rush to the cafeteria since we were hungry . The cafeteria was half empty because people had started rushing to class so we hurried to take our meal . I knew Jennie was not okay but we had no time to discuss about it. We finished our meal in silence and hurried back to class, fortunately the lecturer wasn't in yet. We walked to our respective seats before the lecturer came in. Class continued as usual and within few hours, we closed from school . I decided to give my address to Keenan before I remembered he already knows my house so I just told him to either give it to Ryder or just come there with him. I walked out with Jennie and headed straight home after dropping her off.
