Chapter 32

I woke up as early as I could to get to school on time. I did everything possible so I wouldn't be questioned by Ana before setting off to school. Upon reaching my usual parking spot, the issue about the study group hit me hard to the core. I totally forgot about it and enjoyed my sleep and now it's making its way into my head. I walked to get some stuffs from my locker when I realized a notice pasted on it. I went closer to check what it was about just to find the final decision regarding the study groups. All necessary arrangements had been done and there would be no changes anymore. I had to cope with it so I just ignored it and got what I need from my locker before heading to class. Jennie was already in class when I got there but she wasn't the only one and the class was almost full so I sat quietly in my seat till class began.

Keenan walked in while class was in section and greeted the lecturer. He wasn't the type to be last to school but how it happened, I cared less. He didn't even look at me when he sat so I also ignored his presence and focused on what the lecturer was talking about. It wasn't long after Keenan walked in when the siren churned for lunch time. When i was about to move from my seat, Keenan stopped me saying we had to discuss the meetings of our study group. He called Jennie who was reading a book and Ryder who was about to go out with Ryan and Reuben.

"Can't you see we are going to have lunch?", Ryan questioned Keenan when he called Ryder.

"I guess he can speak for himself so why are you doing that in his stead?", Keenan retorted.

Ryan seems to always have problem with Keenan but it seems no one knows the reason behind their grudge. Ryan walked towards Keenan putting on a nasty look and Keenan also got up to meet him. Everyone knew that immediately the two came in contact , there would be a fierce fight but no one dared to stop them from getting close meaning, someone had to risk it.

"Urhm… Keenan, let's just talk about it alone, Rider might join us later", I said to him to get his attention.

"I think Ash is right", Jennie supported me and I finally felt relieved when Keenan stopped walking towards the mad guy in front of him.

"Let's go guys " Ryan said to Ryder and Reuben and they walked out of the class. I was happy things didn't get worse like the other time. Jennie and I got him back to his seat and we started to discuss what was needed. Just when we started with our discussion, Ryder walked in and sat in an empty seat beside Jennie. We all stared at him in awe wondering what he was doing with us when he went out with Ryan.

"Are you done with your meal already?", Keenan asked and he replied shaking his head.

"I was asked to join the discussion so no need to worry about it", he finally spoke.

"We are not really having a serious discussion, we just want to know how we are going to meet for effective learning ", Keenan said.

"I see… so what do we have to do now ", Ryder seemed to be someone who was serious about his academics, no wonder he was always part of the top ten students.

"We need a meeting place for us to meet regularly ", Keenan finally said glancing at our faces if we had any suggestions.

"What about me house?", Ryder was first to speak which got all of us staring at him. "My mum will love to see you guys there to learn", he added when he saw the looks on our faces.

"Mmmm …not bad", Keenan said while looking at it he still had something in mind.

"We can meet at my house too, my parents are not around", I finally said. I do t know why I suggested my house but I just didn't like the idea of going to Ryder's.

"But…"

"I'm only with my nanny who is very lovely to stay with, we can also organize a little fun game to help us freshen up", I cut Keenan off before he could finish whatever he wanted to spill from his mouth.
