I could not possibly think of any reason why Mr Gupta would make such a decision, but it seemed he was not ready to explain his reason so I had to make my choice.

"Sir please I want to change my group", I politely requested of him.

"Can you give me a reason because without a tangible reason, you'd have to stay with you group members "

"Sir please you are very well aware of my situation so I'd like to stay in groups with only females", I said trying hard to convince him.

"I learnt you are able to cope with the guys to the extent that, you even pick fights with them", I wondered where he got the information from but it's normal for him to know about it since he's the principal of the school.

"I don't pick fights with them sir, they start everything and since I'm not a loser I try to retaliate "

"Then why don't you stay in the group with them so you could continue being a winner?", I never knew the man was so difficult to be convinced.

"Sir can I ask a question?", I was really curious now.

"Go ahead"

"Why Keenan and Ryder ", I really wanted to know his reason.

"Well as you know, you missed a lot because of your late admission so Keenan will help you catch up", he sighed after his first explanation but he seemed to be in deep thoughts

"And Ryder?"

"I learnt he would be of help to Jennie since he's also a bright student so…"

"Sir you know they kind of group he's in, what would happen if they find out Ryder wasn't added to their group ", I cut him off and spoke my mind.

"Does he look happy to you whenever you see him?", he threw a question back at me.

"Miss Ash, for your group, there's nothing that can be done about it so I'd advice you to study hard to pass the exams "

"But sir…"

"Please excuse me", he cut me off and I angrily got out of his office banging the door behind me.

On my way back to the my car, I met Keenan who was heading towards the principal's office but I ignored him since I didn't want to unleash my anger on anyone. I tried to walk pass him but he held me by the wrist stopping me from moving further. I stood still looking at the body contact between us steadily as if something had happened to my wrist.

"I'm sorry for touching you", he broke the long silence bringing me back to reality when he let go of my wrist. I decided not to speak a word since I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone.

"Why do you look so angry?", he further asked.

"You are going to see Mr Gupta right?", I questioned back.

"Yes I am, but that doesn't answer my question "

"You will find out from him then, bye", I just said and walked away.

"Can you just put on a little smile to brighten yourself?", I head him say behind me but I just ignored him and went away
