"Junior brother Jiang Nie, what are you saying? Junior brother Lei Jin is now akin to family." Xiu Dan said. "Junior brother Lei Jin, please forgive this idiot. I promise we only came here today to see the husband for our dear junior sisters." she added quickly.

"Junior brother Jiang Nie! How dare you try to fight Lei Jin after receiving such a great gift from him. Are you trying to be ungrateful?" Chen Ba said.

Elder Na Ren remained quiet. Lei Jin simply glanced at her, he wasn't too upset by this since it was only natural. That is, it is only natural to ensure the safety of one's family. This Jiang Nie had wanted to make sure that Lei Jin in fact had the strength needed. This wasn't something he could just accept without seeing it first. Lei Jin knew this was what Jiang Nie's intention was.

"Senior Sisters, do not worry about this. If my Senior brother Jiang Nie wishes to test how strong I am then I'll oblige him." Lei Jin said.

"Junior brother, But he received such a great gift and still acts this way." Xiu Dan said, bringing up the gift again.

"What does Junior brother mean by that?" Chen Ba asked, curiously.

"I will do the same for all of the members being shipped out to the battlefield. In this way all of the ones in this shipment will have an upperhand when it comes to fighting the detestable ink clan." Lei Jin said simply.

"This… You plan to give this to every single one of the members being shipped out? Tell me are you capable of doing this? Such a thing has such a massive degree of power contained within. Are you saying you plan to give it to thousands of Disciples at once?" Jiang Nie asked as his eyes widened and pupils grew 3 times larger.

"Naturally! Since I have such power I shall use it for such purposes. It is our duty as members of our Human Race to stare down the incarnations of evil, that is the ink clan. The only reason I was sent here from the ink Battlefield was so I could acquire the necessary resources to promote to my maximum handled rank." Lei Jin said, confidently and calmly.

"I see, then in that case I'd like to test your strength for real this time. Don't hold back Junior brother Lei Jin." Jiang Nie said, standing up.

"Very well, I won't hold back, Senior brother. You should prepare yourself, I'm no mere Great Emperor." Lei Jin said, warning Jiang Nie.

"Good, then perhaps you'll make for a good warm up." Jiang Nie said.

At this time Supreme Elder Azure Heart and Supreme Elder Hong appeared. They had finally come out of seclusion. They sat down at the table and the servants spared not even the slightest portion of a breath to bring the two snacks and wine. Clearly having seen that tea was not what they were in the mood for.

"So Elder Na Ren, it seems like this boy Disciple of yours is quite protective. Did you plan this out with him in advance?" Supreme Elder Azure Heart asked, drinking her wine.

"Seems I can't hide anything from you Supreme Elder." Elder Na Ren sighed. "I did indeed have this planned out in advance." she confirmed.

"Ah, So Elder Na Ren's disciple was not convinced until he felt it himself, is that right? So he came up with this idea to test Lei Jin's strength for himself. He has a good mindset. A shame he leaves for the ink Battlefield." Supreme Elder Hong said.

"You two should pay close attention to this. Lei Jin is not weak." Elder Na Ren said.

"Junior brother, let me see this power of yours." Jiang Nie said, floating up into the air.

Lei Jin did the same and prepared for the fight at hand. It was merely a demonstration of strength but he still hated meaningless fighting. So, Lei Jin was going to end it quickly.

"Begin!" Supreme Elder Azure Heart said.

Supreme Elder Azure Heart was also curious about how strong Lei Jin's combat prowess truly was. The last time was against other Dao seal realms and thus not even a challenge for him. This time it would be different. The one he faced down now was a 6th rank Open Heaven Realm.

Hearing the call to begin their match Lei Jin seemingly vanished and appeared behind Jiang Nie. Jiang Nie tried his best to dodge such a fast movement but ended up getting grazed by Lei Jin's punch. Only for Lei Jin to disappear again and perform the same feat. This continued on for quite some time. Jiang Nie had managed to avoid the attacks every once in a while but it was far easier said than done.

How was Lei Jin doing this? It was the only thing on everyone's minds. After a while of this Supreme Elder Azure Heart had realized that it was clearly a sufficient show of strength.

"That's enough. I believe Disciple Jiang Nie has obtained sufficient insight." Supreme Elder Azure Heart said, stopping the fight.

"Yes this one has indeed been satisfied. I would go as far as to say if Junior brother had used an artifact in this match it would have been my complete loss." Jiang Nei said, cupping his hands in respect.

"Senior brother is too modest. I merely used this match to improve upon my own skills. I hate senseless fights so forgive me for turning this one into more of a training session for myself." Lei Jin said, hiding a small underlying meaning behind his words.

"Ahahaha, So how did you keep popping in and out of existence? That was quite intriguing." Jiang Nie asked, as they both landed.

"This… I practice the daos of time and space. When utilizing the two of them together truly amazing things can happen. As you have recently seen…" Lei Jin said, before getting cut off.

"Junior brother is amazing! Le Xue and Lein Yue will be in good hands!" Chen Ba said.

"With Junior brother Lei Jin watching out for our junior sisters, I will be able to fight to the best of my ability." Xiu Dan.
