Settling Refugees

All the people looked at him and Pudding said "Me!" Tenshi turned, saying "Not you." before turning back and looking at the people. They hesitated and discussed with each other, a rare species guy from a race called Kinokobito asked hesitantly "They can't find us in that new world?"

Tenshi nodded and promised, "100%, I promise." the Kinokobito and his group nodded, "We want to leave." A long arm long leg guy nodded, "I want to come as well." a lot of people started speaking up, saying that they wanted to leave.

Tenshi nodded and smiled, "No problem. Anybody else?" the rest looked at each other and agreed that they wanted to leave as well. Tenshi clapped and smiled happily, "Great!" as he snapped his fingers.

Everyone disappeared and returned to Kakariko.

Tenshi landed on the cliff and smiled, "Who would like to stay in Kakariko?" several people raised their hands and Tenshi guided them down to the extra housing for them. When everyone was finished, he flew to the Hidden Village and let out some more people.

They went through the cafe to Castle Town, Tenshi released more people before leaving to the Zora's Domain. He only released the Fishmen and Mermaids, explaining that everyone here was Fish People.

Everyone nodded and they left.

Tenshi flew across Hyrule Fields and came to Ordon, releasing the rest. Only a handful of people were left. They walked into town and met a man by the name of Rusl, Colin's father; he was mostly a guard for the village.

He looked at all the people and blinked, Tenshi waved and smiled, "Hello, I'm Tenshi. I own Kakariko Village." Rusl let out a breath and smiled, "Are the children alright?" Tenshi nodded and smiled, "Yep! I'm sure you spoke with Link?"

Rusl smiled and nodded, "I did. He said the children were bein' taken care of in Kakariko… These people are…" Tenshi waved and smiled, "These people want to take refuge in Ordon…" There were a few Minks, a long arm long leg guy, a few humans, even a snake neck woman.

All sorts of shapes and sizes.

Rusl was awed, he didn't know so many races existed!

Tenshi asked, "Is it possible for them to take refuge in Ordon?" Rusl paused before nodding with a smile, "Sure thing." the people relaxed and smiled, thanking Rusl, who just smiled and waved.

Tenshi followed them with Pedro, Reiju, and Pudding behind him. He came to Ordon and saw Mayor Bo looking at a door curiously. He stopped and turned to see Rusl and everyone walking over.

Mayor Bo looked up, seeing a bubble full of animals before looking down at Tenshi. Rusl walked over and explained to Mayor Bo about these people. Bo nodded, not seeing anything wrong with it. He quickly got the people settled, letting them live in some spare housing for the moment, they would have to build more soon.

The people were very thankful, leaving under Rusl's care.

Bo turned to Tenshi, who smiled, "Hello, I'm sure Link told you already… Ilia is in Kakariko." Bo nodded and pointed at the door, saying "He told me I could see her if I used this door." Tenshi nodded and walked over, "This is a door to my Cafe, it will bring you to Kakariko with magic." Bo understood and nodded, asking "Has the Goron problem been solved? I have a few old friends…"

Tenshi nodded and smiled gently, "Link solved the problem." Bo let out a breath of relief, smiling "That's good! What can I help you with?" Tenshi asked, "I was wondering if I could purchase some Ordon Goats?" Bo rubbed his chin and nodded, "Shouldn't be a problem."

Tenshi let out a breath, smiling happily, "Just a couple of them, not a lot. 3-4?" Bo nodded and brought Tenshi along to the Ranch. Tenshi bought 4 Goats and paid 1200 Rupees for them. He took the Goats with him and smiled, "See you tomorrow!" as he walked out of Ordon village before flying away.

As he was flying, Tenshi looked back, he looked at the Forest Temple and sighed to himself. Reiju looked at him and asked, "What's wrong?" Tenshi turned back and sighed again, "That huge tree over there used to be a Guardian of the Forest, bigger than the Adam Tree. He was The Great Deku Tree. Unfortunately, due to some Time shenanigans, the Great Deku Tree died in this timeline."

Reiju, Pudding, and Pedro looked at him with confusion.

Tenshi explained, "The Hero of Time, Link, saved Hyrule before this. But he had to travel into the future to do it, in his future adventure, he defeated an evil guy. However when he defeated the evil guy, he was sent back to the past to regain his childhood by a Princess."

They nodded and Tenshi added, "He went back in time and told the younger princess, who sealed away the evil guy. But this time traveling fractured the timelines into 3. One where the Hero is defeated and the world is doomed. And two others where he was successful, we call these the Adult Timeline and the Child Timeline."

Reiju asked, "The Adult timeline is missing the Hero of Time completely because it continued from the point where he defeated the evil guy, but the Child one never solved all the problems of the Adult one?"

Tenshi was startled and nodded, "That's right!" Reiju nodded and pursed her lips, "Strange. Wouldn't you go back and do everything you did anyway otherwise it creates a Paradox, no?" Pedro and Pudding were lost.

Tenshi shook his head and said "No, because he's not changing the future of his child self. He's changing the timeline's future as an added variable. The Hero himself is an invasive variable, separate from the timeline. When he leaves, he disappears from the world, jumping back into a new timeline where nothing ever changed."

Reiju closed her eyes and nodded, "I see." Tenshi nodded and explained "At any rate, since he never saved the Deku Tree, the Deku Tree died. Now it's become a Forest Temple. But the Disease has been cured now, so it is likely that a new Deku Tree will sprout." the three nodded as they landed back in Kakariko.
