Chapter 29: Taking Control of the Situation

The thin and pale teenager, one might even say pitifully white, pursed his thin lips tightly, revealing a demeanor unique to the world's children. He looked stubbornly at Matthew, and though he tried to remain calm, the fear and anxiety that flowed from his eyes betrayed the true thoughts of his heart.

Matthew looked at his opponent, who was still struggling to get up, and hesitated whether to give him a few more blows to ensure he was completely incapacitated. However, after thinking about it, Matthew still spoke slowly, "I accept your surrender, but you must come out of the Mech first. Without the protection of the Mech, Matthew was confident that he would be able to kill him in three blows at the most. However, Matthew hadn't intended to kill it in the first place; he was just trying to protect himself from harm. Besides, he still needed the help of these two people to survive in this strange spaceship.

Matthew would strike him down first if the other party didn't obediently submit. He would never leave behind any potential threats that could cause him trouble. However, to Matthew's surprise, the other party replied without hesitation, "Good! Number Six knew that the man in front of him was ruthless and deadly, and they didn't have any bargaining chips with the vast difference in strength between the two sides. To protect the young master, Number Six had to decide to surrender.

Number Six was also decisive, and since he was going to surrender, he should do so to prevent the other party from taking out its anger on the young master. So he quickly stowed the Mech away in subspace. It was the first time he had seen Number Six's appearance underneath his Mech. When Number Six revealed his appearance, the teenager was shocked to realize that Number Six, who had diligently protected him for many years, was a woman! And a lovely one at that!

Her golden yellow hair fell like a waterfall over her shoulders, and her pleasantly pretty face was heartwarming. Her sapphire eyes were as deep as the starry sky, and her tall figure and the proud curves outlined by her tight clothes made it impossible for people to take their eyes off her. The long and healthy legs even made people swallow wildly. Even though the teenager grew up in a family and had seen countless beautiful women, he was still captivated by Number Six and couldn't take his eyes off her.

Matthew watched this scene and secretly thought, "Hmm, not bad; the mecha looks like it should be brainwave controlled. He said weakly to Six, "Throw the space button on your mecha over here." Though his tone was flat, it conveyed an undeniable majesty.

Number Six had watched the change in Matthew's expression. Though she had never shown her true face to outsiders, she had complete confidence in her beauty. In her group, which was adopted by the family and specially trained to become personal bodyguards for essential people, everyone was a one-in-a-million beauty. And Number Six, the best among them, was breathtakingly beautiful. Their instructors had once told them that their looks and bodies were their last and most potent weapons, and if used correctly, they might even be able to turn the whole situation around.

However, Number Six's confidence in her beauty instantly collapsed, and this terrifying man seemed to ignore her as if she didn't even exist. Could it be that she wasn't attracted to him at all? A feeling of frustration couldn't help but well up in Number Six's heart. Fortunately, the admiring gaze of the young master allowed her to regain some confidence. She had been serving the young master for five years and couldn't be more transparent about this teenager's mind. He would never have any unfavorable thoughts towards her, and the appreciation in his eyes was pure and sincere.

Number Six hesitated momentarily but removed a beautifully crafted bracelet from her wrist and tossed it to Matthew. As soon as he caught the bracelet, Matthew fumbled with it for a while, removing the miniature energy pectus before placing them together in his pocket. As Number Six watched this series of deft moves by Matthew, the last glimmer of hope in his heart was dashed. This man was still so cautious, even with such a vast difference in strength between the two sides. He was too terrifying!

Matthew motioned for Number Six to come over. With trepidation, Number Six walked over to Matthew. Without hesitation, Matthew untied the ropes around his body and bound her. His rough movements caused Six to burst into tears from the pain. But what frightened her even more was the murderous look in Matthew's eyes as he warned her. It was clear to her that this man would never hold back when he said he would.

Matthew then walked towards the teenager, and Six couldn't help but yell, "What do you want? You just promised me you wouldn't hurt him! Please keep your promise!" Her voice was clear and pleasant, as if it was heavenly music, completely different from when she wore the Mech. But that didn't stop Matthew; he continued to walk towards the teenager, seemingly oblivious to Six's cries.

Matthew didn't turn around as he said blandly, "Hurt him? I have no intention of doing so yet. However, tying him up might give me more peace of mind." With that, he walked right up to the teenager.

The teenager raised his chin proudly and stared at Matthew with a provocative look. His face had regained some of its blood color, and his demeanor seemed much calmer. However, Number Six secretly cried out that it was terrible in her heart. She knew the young master's stubborn nature and only hoped that he wouldn't provoke the other party so that he wouldn't suffer.

Matthew did not take the teenager's provocation to heart. He understood that his mood wouldn't be better if he were tied up than the teenager's. Therefore, even though the teenager looked weak, Matthew carefully tied him up. On the Ruined Earth Starhill, every mutated creature had unique abilities, and judging an enemy's strength by his appearance was undoubtedly the most foolish thing to do.

Matthew's movements were not gentle, causing the fair-skinned teenager to grunt softly in pain. Number Six watched from the sidelines, his heart aching. Finally, Matthew finished the binding and sat down on his backside, sighing a sigh of relief.

Then, Six had the chance to take a closer look at the man in front of him. He was short, his skin was a healthy wheat color, and he had an ordinary look but sparkling eyes. His black hair was a chaotic mess that could be described as dreadful, obviously a grave mistake by the automated barber.

The man's form was well-proportioned, with no gnarled muscles, entirely out of proportion to the terrifying energy contained within. Six wasn't sure of his age; he didn't seem very old, but his old-fashioned style and indifference to life and death made him seem rather fickle.

His clothes were ancient in artistry and texture, reminding Six of someone from a government relief area. However, from how he had deftly removed the energy pectus from his Mech, it was clear that he was highly familiar with Mechs. This confused Number Six: Who exactly was this man? How could he have a Mecha?

Matthew interrupted her thoughts and opened his mouth to ask, "Say, who are you two?" The two prisoners looked at each other in disbelief, and Six replied timidly, "You don't know who we are?"
