Darkside Ambitions II: Unleashing Chaotic Ambitions

Following the Anti-Spiral's instructions, Rex made his way across town by rooftop, his enhanced agility allowing easy travel over the skyline. They quickly came to Yuri's workplace, which was in front of an unremarkable warehouse manned by armed guys.

Rex walked towards the plain-looking warehouse that was used as a cover for Yuri's workshop. There were guards with weapons stationed outside, keeping a lookout. The warehouse seemed inconspicuous from the outside, but Rex knew that inside, Yuri was conducting his secretive work.

"Halt! State your business," one gruff guard demanded, leveling his rifle warily. Rex approached the guards without any fear in his eyes.

"Don't get any closer, or I will shoot you," one of the guards warned Rex.

"Relax guys, I've arrived to meet Yuri. Please allow me through," asserted Rex with authority. As he spoke, a vibrant, crimson aura of Anti-Spiral energy enveloped him, emanating a powerful and malevolent presence.

The guards, feeling anxious, quickly glanced at one another. Their boss had given them a clear warning about a potentially risky intruder.

"Sorry, buddy, but we can't allow you to proceed. Please turn around and leave," one of the guards responded, attempting to display a stern demeanor.

"I tried asking nicely," Rex said, shaking his head. He swiftly moved forward, grabbing the rifle from the guard's hands. In a split second, he tilted the barrel upwards, preventing the guard from shooting. However, his quick actions caused a stray bullet to inadvertently hit a light fixture, resulting in an explosion of sparks and shattered glass.

Before the stunned guard could react even further, Rex delivered a fearsome uppercut to his jaw, launching the man backward through the air. Rex, having extraordinary senses, quickly noticed the other guards firing their guns. "Fire all of you; sound the alarm," the guard said without any hesitation, as the alarm was sounding and more reinforcement was coming.

"Sigh, as expected this is really base" bullets were raining on.

As expected, he could see the bullets moving through the air at a sluggish pace, almost as if they were crawling.

With remarkable agility, he effortlessly maneuvered his way through the bullets, gracefully dodging them. As if in the blink of an eye, Rex swiftly closed the gap between himself and the guards, reaching them in a mere moment.

A blast of Anti-Spiral force sent the shooters flying in different directions, overwhelmed by the wave of power. Rex snatched a pistol from the belt of one airborne guard and hurled it with pinpoint accuracy, striking another guard in the shoulder before he hit the ground.

With superhuman agility, Rex leaped and ricocheted off the warehouse wall to deliver a crushing ax kick that cratered the pavement where one guard tried to flee. Rex then fired precise shots from the guard's confiscated pistol, shooting weapons from their hands with sniper-like accuracy.

One guard with a speed quirk attempted a quick attack, only for Rex to sidestep and brutally backhand him into the concrete wall, his enhanced body denting the solid surface.

Two bruisers with strength enhancements charged Rex head-on.

He stood firm, letting their massive punches land.

The Anti-Spiral energy reinforced his body, leaving him unmoved as the guards cried out from pummeling the immovable object.

"My power seems to have grown more; I can feel it, all the cells in my body are filled with energy."

Rex then latched onto their heads and ruthlessly slammed them face-first into the pavement. "Let me give you all a good lesson because I will be the big boss and you all will be walking for me. It's a pity to kill you all," Rex told the guards while shaking his head.

Fighting them seemed like playing with children; some guards lost their courage.

A multi-armed guard wrapped Rex in a constricting grapple. With a roar, Rex flexed his Anti-Spiral might, his muscle mass bulging. He shattered the restraints and seized two of the guard's arms.

"Bad move," Rex growled before brutally ripping the limbs off, leaving the guard screaming in agony.

Rex continued slowly marching towards the warehouse entrance as bullets and energy blasts pelted him but failed to penetrate his enhanced armor. "Is this all you've got?" he mocked. Any guard who drew too close was ruthlessly smashed aside by Rex's fearsome blows.

At last, only one young guard remained standing between Rex and the entrance. He tremblingly fired his shock pistol to no effect. Rex just chuckled darkly. "I'll give you credit for bravery, kid. But step aside if you want to live." The guard wisely did so.

As he moved into a big corridor, different guns appeared on the wall, and bullets rained on him. Rex sensed danger from these bullets.

It seems they were different because even Anti-Spiral warned him to be careful.

Things won't be as simple as he thought. Yuri was truly a man of surprises.

He kept evading the bullets and countered them with energy waves. They destroyed all the guns on the wall.

Soon he heard another sound coming from the wall; an opening appeared, and some humanoid shapes with wheels attacked him. The time danger he felt was on another level, and different guns appeared on the five robots.

They fired all at the same time, "Shit!, laser gun!" He was surprised that they were firing lasers at him. He was sure if he was touched, things would go south; he could feel it with his instinct.

The Anti-Spiral saw Rex and wasn't in a good position. "You should use me and control those robots, don't limit your power; go beyond your imagination." Anti-Spiral words made him think about how to use it, to control those robots.

"I will try to send my energy into them and try to control them with my mind," he started immediately. As the robots were touched by the energy, their movement started to become sluggish. "I will help you rake control of them faster," said Anti-Spiral to Rex.

Rex kept evading the attacks, and soon all the robots stopped their movement.

Yurii was in disbelief; his perfect creation was hacked so fast that he couldn't do anything to stop their infection."This isn't something a human can do; how did he hack my robots and breach my firewall this fast?" Yuri was sure there was nothing he could do anymore.

With no more obstacles, Rex entered the warehouse, the groans of the defeated guards fading behind him.

Now to find Yuri and convince the inventor to aid his ambitions. This was just the first step in their conquest.

At the commotion, a man in a lab coat emerged - Yuri Kato, master inventor. "How dare you barge in here, causing havoc!" Yuri exclaimed.

"Hello, Yuri, I'm Rex," he replied casually over the groans of the beaten guards. "As you can see, I need some new toys.

Be a pal and let me take a look at your latest works, for old time's sake," he said sarcastically.

Yuri's eyes widened. "Old time's...wait, Rex?! The two-bit thug?" He then frowned angrily. "Forget it! I refuse to aid a crazy person like you."

Rex shook his head. "Come now, Yuri; think of it as a business partnership." He lifted a heavy gun prototype with one hand, denting the barrel to Yuri's dismay.

"So what'll it be? Cooperate or get put out of business permanently?"

Yuri realized refusing wasn't wise under the circumstances. "...Fine. This way," he reluctantly motioned. Passing through security doors, he led Rex into a lab containing shelves of experimental weapons and body armor. Computer displays tracked numerous active projects.

"Magnificent," the Anti-Spiral remarked, sensing intriguing possibilities with the inventor's works.

Rex nodded approvingly as he examined the offerings, taking an interest in a high-energy laser rifle. "You've been busy, Yuri. Mr. Big was a fool not to invest his all in your research."

"Yes, well, that's all behind me now," Yuri responded carefully, not wanting to provoke Rex. "So, how can I be of assistance?"

Rex smiled. "For starters, we're taking everything here. You'll be working exclusively for me moving forward. I expect you to prioritize upgrades to my gear and developing new weapons that take advantage of my...unique abilities."

The Anti-Spiral added, "And construct a specialized suit of armor to better channel my power through your technology."

Yuri's shoulders slumped; he was stuck working for this maniac now. "...I understand. I'll begin immediately."

Over the next few months, under Rex's watchful eye and the Anti-Spiral's direction, Yuri constructed a menacing black and red-powered exosuit, maximizing Rex's newfound capabilities. Integrated amplifiers enabled finer control of the Anti-Spiral energy.

Now clad head to toe in the intimidating armor, Rex tested his augmented strength by effortlessly backhanding a brick wall into rubble. "Excellent work, Yuri," Rex said. "Mr. Big was a fool not to make full use of your skills."

Yuri sighed. "I aim to please." He knew Rex wasn't completely wrong; at least now his inventions would be fully utilized, even if unethically.

Rex next set out to force the other crime factions under his dominion. With Yuri's weapons and the Anti-Spiral suit, none could challenge Rex as he crushed notorious groups like the Black Lotus Triad and the Cyborg Syndicate.

After a stunning victory over the airborne Zero Squadron gang utilizing an armored flight system, Rex had definitively established his rule over the city's underworld. From Yuri's new lair control center, the Anti-Spiral remotely coordinated their forces to manage the conquered territory and root out rivals.

"Our network expands swiftly, vessel," the Anti-Spiral observed with satisfaction. "Soon this world's leadership will bow before you, fulfilling my purpose."

Rex nodded, pleased with their progress but eager for greater heights. "I want access to your full power. My ambitions have only grown."

"And so shall your power in due time," the Anti-Spiral assured. "For now, continue building our strength."

The government got wind of all the changes in the underworld; things were getting more out of control, gang war increased, and the crime rate increased a lot, Rex knew they would come for him soon or later but he

wouldn't stop with his power.

He knew he could keep them in their place and get a compromise.

While consolidating his underworld empire, Rex again set his sights on I-Island, one of the leading tech in the world.

The inventions he could get there were endless, and all those intelligent minds, if only could get them right now, but right now wasn't the time. With the Anti-Spiral's abilities, he believed he could overcome any opposition.

Rex mused, "Yes, if we control I-Island and defeat all the number one heroes of each country and the fearsome All Might, this world will be ours. The so-called 'Symbol of Peace' will kneel before us and all the heroes with him."

The Anti-Spiral added, "I-Island's resources can be turned towards our ends as well. The world will soon behold our vision of chaos unbound." Its showdown with the spiral nemesis seemed closer and more to its advantage than ever; they were both in a weak state.

Rex clenched a fist, Anti-Spiral energy pulsing. He would see his ambitions fulfilled and the Anti-Spiral's plans advanced. No one would dare oppose their combined might. He didn't know but his vision has already been influenced by the desire of Anti-Spiral, he's not the Rex he was before; now all we can say is he's just a marionette without knowing.
