Van Hellsing

Saria sat back and threw the earphones on the table, she never thought it would come to this but it seems the worst fears of her organization just became a reality.

The Van Hellsing organization hunted down and killed the most dangerous creatures this world had to offer, that was anything from terrorists to wolves and vampires.

For years they knew of the existence of both the supernatural, but there was no real reason to hunt the wolves, only those who stepped out of place.

It was the vampires who bared the greatest danger and thanks to the four Lords they couldn't really be ultimately destroyed.

Guile Holland Bronberrick, Brentford Mannenberg, Anastasia Le Blanc, and Deno Christosemau, with them alive they can still make more vampires, if any vampire they bite bites another, that vampire is then a ghoul, foul dying corpses counter acted with a healthy taste for blood, but the only way to rid every single one of them from planet earth, was to kill the lords.

She turned in her seat to James, her muscle, the trusted African American man who stood by her through all this Hell.

"This is a problem"

He lifted the earphones and placed them down "I heard"

Eyes everywhere even within the vampire houses they made sure to recruit those who likes the bite of a vampire, and thanks to Charles now standing next to Anastasia, they heard everything.

"Is there any news from headquarters?" Saria asked grabbing a soda from the fridge.

"Not yet, but it seems we need to start improvising" James said.

"How do you suppose we do that? Go to them and ask 'Hey! May we test what weapon can kill you?' Don't be idiotic James" she said.

"No, obviously not that, but I might have an idea" he said turning to his computer and typing on it.

Saria kicked he chair to glide in next to him, on his screen the face of Deno appeared and James smirked at her.

"What about the kid vampire lord?"

"Did you hear the way Anastasia spoke about him? They clearly don't like Deno very much"

"And?"

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend..."

Saria frowned at him "You mean, we go to Deno and ask him?"

"Yeah, according to our data Deno is very meticulous about who he bites and who he turns, in fact, he hasn't turned anyone in over a hundred years, according to our knowledge"

"So he's the lesser of two evils, maybe we can ask him what their weakness are in return we spare him?"

"Exactly"

"Where is he now?"

James typed on the computer again and up came a little arrow of the tracker planted in his Lamborghini "He's hightailing it to England"

Saria scratched her cheek "So he's going huh?"

"Going where?"

"Anastasia sent him to kill the last wolf"

James shrugged "Maybe we should let him, that's two flies with one strike"

"Agreed, let's head off that direction, I want to meet him"

James nodded and got up, he passed her through the surveillance van and started it up.

"Charles, enjoy the evening" Saria said into his earpiece, it was their code that he may choose to do whatever he wants from here on out, the young man chose to be with vampires, and he can slip away at any time if he liked.

James got the van up to speed and they discreetly filtered into the streets away from the mansion, Saria activated a live tracker and set it to the GPS of James in front of the van, that way he could see where Deno was heading.

She then hung back in her chair with a sigh "I can't believe they're so brazen, wanting to overthrow governments, then later the world? If they turn everyone into vampires who will they feed on?"

James chuckled "They will obviously spare a few humans as feed bags, I can only imagine the farms they intend to raise to keep a fresh supply of humans"

Saria snorted "That sounds far fetched, its easy to feed a cow grass but what do you feed a herd of humans? Hot dogs?"

James broke with laugher "Yeah can you imagine!?"

"Its easier to drink from cows, but no, the filthy bloodsuckers wants human blood because cows eat grass and doesn't have the nutrients a human holds"

"Hey I'm a vegetarian!" James said "That means I'm safe yeah?"

"Not by a long shot"

"Picky leeches"

"Yes they are" she said but brought her head up to him "Since when are you a veggie?"

"Since last month, I need to check what I eat man" he said slapping his gut.

"Oh, so that means I can have the rest of the burgers?" She said taking one out of a storage cupboard and opening the plastic around it, she watched him in the mirror as she slowly took a bite out of it.

"Hmm~ so good"

He squinted at her through the mirror then snorted "You're an evil woman you know that! Gimme a burger Saria!"

She laughed holding one over "I knew you won't be able to resist"

"And as I said, you're evil"

She giggled checking a mail that came through, quickly swallowing she flicked a finger to James "Our asset is ready for pickup"

"On it"

Deno lifted his butterfly door and rose out of the low car, he took a deep breath and sighed "Ah England, the air always did seem a little fresher here" he said lowering the door then pocketed his hands to watch the smouldering building.

He felt warm in his chest, the little wolf now tickled the imaginations of many humans with her heroic stunt, that firefighter said her one wolf ear was burnt, poor pup.

He walked across the street and came in next to a firefighter "Good day sir?"

"Hi" the man answered not taking his eyes off the smoke above.

The fire might be under control now but it still had them all working hard to get even the smoke to settle.

Deno left him and stood one side, doing his own calculation on what might have happened here, and how did the little wolf come across this burning building.

As he scanned two things came to mind, if she had a means of transport and two she must have been either passing by or was in the vicinity when the building went up in flames, best way to start digging was ask the authorities.

"Good day my dear sir, may I ask a question?" He said to a police officer close by.

"Sure"

"I hear the wolf has pulled some brave moves here, when did she arrive in England? Do you know?"

The officer nodded "Yesterday already, she gave dock officials a slip in London"

"Ah, well, I'm glad she saved the baby" Deno said waving a greet and headed back to his car, but there he stood thinking, across the hotel there was the smaller motel block, he watched the not too fancy paint on the building then smiled.

"Hiding here would be perfect if I was a wolf, too obvious right?" He spoke to himself again and headed to the motel reception, as he crossed the parking he saw some CCTV cameras and thought he can make sure she was here that way.

Inside he leaned on the table to the old man behind it "Good day sir, I'd like to see your CCTV footage"

"You can't just demand that!"

Deno smiled and his blue eyes glowed softly "Yes I can..."
