Chapter 001- La Rosas

Elena Gomez sat outside El Rosa Rancho, looking of into the sunset. As she gazed at the sky, full of pinks, and oranges, she found herself thinking blissfully of the good times she had at El Rosa Rancho. "Elena! Come help me make more tamales!", yelled Mamí.

" Coming mamí ", said Elena

Elena loved how her mamá always had her hair braided in a corona or crown.

When Elena opened the front door she could smell the scent of tamales wafting it's way through the hallway. It smells delicious thought Elena. I can't wait to try one.
