His mom grinned as Michi and the siblings entered the cave. "The water's good to go. Please put the boy down gently."
Art stared at Collin." Shouldn't we take off his clothes, so he doesn't get any sicker?"
Michiru's mom smiled and pointed to a nearby set of clothes. "I prepared some robes for him."
"It's fine." Michi brushed hair out of Collin's eyes. "Lay him in the pool." As soon as Art set him down, the water turned black.
All eyes widened. "What?"
his mom frowned. "This must be the work of that foul god, Loki." She summoned her Key and wrapped Collin in a cocoon of vines.
A deep voice shook the cave. "YOU HATEFUL KEY KEEPER!"
Michi clenched his fists. "Hold on, Mom."
She nodded.
"If only I was a Key Keeper, too..." Michi mumbled under his breath.
"ATTACK HER, MY LOCKS!"
Art and Madi looked like someone tied strings to them.
Michi gritted his teeth and threw himself between them.
