Randy set Star down, who let out a weak cough and something that might have been a wheeze.

"Get him out of these wet clothes. I'll get him a pair of Michi's old clothes."

"Right!" Randy got to work while his mentor left.

When she returned, Randy dressed Star up.

Ren looked Star over for them. "Hmm, the boy's burning up."

"No duh, sherlock!" En said.

Del grumbled. "En, don't be rude to Ren. She's helping us out with Atty even after we detained her son.

En scoffed. "Well, if she was a better mom, he wouldn't have gotten detained."

Sweat beaded her brow.

Randy whacked him over the head. "That's too far. Even for you."

She frowned. "He's right..."
